• Closed-cell polyethylene enhances frequency response for improved sound clarity
  • Easy conformability in tight spaces for a professional installation
  • Thin material design offers less bulk for a clean and tight installation for professional finished appearance
  • Reduces panel-to-frame and door panel reverberation and road noise for improved acoustics
  • Acts as a protective guard for exposed speakers and extends their lifespan

I have 3 sets of these, I had the regular ones purchased first but my deaf bonce m60a wouldn't fit because the motor on this speaker is as big as the speaker so I ordered the bigger 6.75" and 5" deep version and now my m60a fits very well.. and they sound amazing, these are hands down the loudest 6.5" speaker on the planet, they play 100hz to 14khz like a boss, with that awesome 80~100hz punch with athority. I highly recommend this speaker setup for anyone looking for loud crisp, clean music.. can be heard for blocks crystal clear vocals..

Was able to confirm that these do indeed rob bass. I have a s2000 and bought these to protect my door speakers from water damage and was hoping it would enhance overall sound but in the end all i got was a little bit of protection and minimal sound improvements. I starter by installing the baffle on the right side and immediately I could hear that the mids highs where better but the bass sounded muffled and had a wierd sound to it when compared to the left side which had no baffles (I did this by switching from right to left speaker on the cars stereo) I then cut a 2" hole in the back of it and tested again... this time the bass was better but again not as good as when i listened to the left speaker without a baffle. I ended up cutting the whole bottom half of the back of the baffle and now everything sounds good and it still offers some protection from water entering the door. Hope this helps others out there

I got these for my Wrangler soundbar and they have made a definite improvement in the sound quality. For a vehicle made to be driven with the top off and volume turned up the factory stereo is pretty sad, though I didn't buy it for the stereo. A sound system upgrade is pretty low on my list but for less than $10 and 20 minutes of my time these are well worth it. Probably will get another pair for the dash speakers. I'd recommend these to anyone, especially for a cheap and easy Jeep mod.

This made a TREMENDOUS difference in my motrocycle speakers' sound quality. I had put in a pair of Kicker PS 5.25' 4 ohm speakers, and while not bad, they lacked at highway speeds. The main issue was my aftermarket batwing fairing did not create a good seal behind the speakers and too much sound was escaping out the bottom where there was an opening on each side by the headlight (I have a 2009 V-Star 950) . After placing these in - I can hear at highway speeds with the volume 15-20% lower. The highs are much cleaner and the mids are powerful (hard to get much bass on a motorcycle....so no difference there). If you have an aftermarket batwing fairing and your speakers don't sound as good as you'd like (this won't make crappy speakers work like a Kicker or JBL) this is as cheap a solution you will find. If you do have nice speakers in an aftermarket fairing - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE!

So, if you're doing just factory replacement in a door panel, or side panel (maybe even rear deck) these will give your replacements a cabinet for added richness of sound. I used some cheap (but well rated) replacements in my convertible, where the rear speakers are mounted in just a metal bracket in the open, with no cabinet space available. These make the sound consistent, and no rattles (it's a Ford, there should be some) and clean sound. I'll definitely buy these for future installs.

Reduced vibration and forced sound into the cabin. Great product. Also worked very well to offset the gap between my new speakers and speaker adapters. I'm very impressed with this. Bought a second pair for my rear doors as well

I used these on my bass boat when installing a sound system from scratch. Used these to protect the back side of my marine speakers from debris in the storage compartments, and to bring the sound to life. The difference in sound was amazing in all ranges. I've had some experience with these before in cars, so I was familiar with material. I read a few reviews on here that people were upset that they were tearing easily... not sure what they were doing, but I was able to be somewhat rough with them during install, along with tackle, oars, safety gear, and other gear rubbing up against them in the compartments they are in... no tears so far.

I used this for ceiling speakers to help stop sound traveling to the rooms located above it. It minimally stopped the sounds, but the sound quality of the speakers were improved. I do understand that to stop sound from bleeding all through floors and walls, a speaker box would be better than a baffle. However, I am giving it 5 stars for its actual intent, sound quality improvement. Bass and midrange are noticeably improved. Highs, though not affected by the baffle, remain the same.

The 5.25” round (not slim) version has a volume of 26 fl oz or 0.9 liters/0.04 cubic feet. An enclosure this small will limit your low bass response by mechanically limiting excursion. However, if you’re running a driver whose job it is to run higher frequencies, and you don’t want to hear the rear wave ( I have these installed in my dash and don’t want midrange frequencies broadcast to the floor, interfering with the image) these work great. I don’t want my dash speakers exploding when they were fed healthy wattages either, so a small enclosure was just the ticket. For my purposes, they were a home run at $10.

Definitely get the slim line! I ordered this size based on the reviews for the 6"x8" version of this product, and they were not wrong. This is just the right depth and hole size for my Pioneer TSD6802R speakers - anything bigger would be too large a internal diameter, and there's no need for extra depth. Time will tell the longevity, but this seems just as thick and sturdy as the 6"x8" XTC baffles I used for a different set of speakers. Update after installing these into my 2004 Ford Taurus front doors. Although these are the slim line, and match the depth of my Pioneer speakers perfectly (no space between the back of the magnet and the bottom of the baffle), they're still just a hair too deep! The back of the baffle contacts the window just barely when the window is rolled down - in the last 6" or so of travel. It doesn't limit or slow the window travel, just makes a nice squeak of the glass rubbing against the foam. Not the fault of this baffle, just crazy how little clearance Ford gave for their door speakers - just the thickness of the foam on this baffle - since my Pioneer speaker is the same depth as the factory speaker. Not sure yet if I will make the fix of cutting out the bottom of the baffle to fix this issue, as that would mostly defeat the purpose of the baffle - or just live with the squeaking.
