Perfect and easy!

I have a heart transplant baby who is almost 1. I have to check his temp every day. We both hate the rectal way of using certain thermometers, too young to take an oral temp, and he absolutely hates having things stuck in his ears. This thermometer is PERFECT! Quick, easy and I’m able to effortlessly get his temperature every day, sometimes multiple times a day. So glad I bought this.

I really like this thermometer

Being a nurse, I am a bit of a thermometer snob. I really like this thermometer, especially for the price. I feel it gives you a fairly accurate reading, at least relative to all the other ones out there that can cost you an arm and a leg and still yield questionable results. Who knew it was so difficult to buy an accurate thermometer?? Don't like that you have to wait so long in between readings for it to work, but it's a small price to pay for an accurate reading. Would definitely recommend it.

Love this!! So much easier than the traditional thermometer with my bust toddler. Plus it reads fast so I don't have to pin her down ! I deffiinatly would buy again.

Quick easy way to get an accurate temp

Got this so I didn’t need to keep waking up my guy when he had the flu...I hate the old thermometers. You have to disenfect them and wake the person up....wait.....just a complete pain. With the temple touch thermometer I just placed it by his temple and in seconds got a read. It’s pretty accurate too....I’m happy with it. Wish I had it sooner. Glad I have it now.

Sanitary, Safe, Easy to Use and Accurate!

I purchased this to replace a broken digital oral thermometer. I love that it is easy to use. Simply put in the included batteries by sliding down the cover (no screwdriver needed), press the button for 2 sec., apply the end (metal disc) to your temple, wait for beep (6sec) and read results. If you forget how to use it, the directions are printed on the handle however, they are hard to read. No worries, It's can be figured out without reading directions. My grand-daughter loves playing doctor and I did not want cross contamination from an oral thermometer so this was a great find and a great price. Sturdy enough for her to play with and accurate enough for me to use. We tested three people, all had different temperatures, one or two degrees off so we tested again and each person had the same results the second time around. I would say that is pretty accurate!

Nurse here...temporal artery will always be more accurate than an oral temp, as long as your pt hasn't recently been outside and you (read:your tech) can accurately locate the temporal artery. As for temperature accuracy, tested against much more expensive machines in my facility, did very well. It was simply more convenient on a busy floor sometimes, especially during flu season.

It could not be easier to use! I can get a temp read in about 6-8 seconds. I use it on my kids and my mother in her 70s can easily use it too. Just make sure to hold it flat on your temple, holding it at a 45 degree angle with your hand.

AWESOME

I work in Home Care and visit many homes a day. This thermometer is very accurate, fast, and easy to read. Highly recommend for the price. I now have used this for over a year and it still works like it did the first day I got it. I have changed the batteries once. I use it around 5 to 6 times per day and clean it with rubbing alcohol every time.

Works well

As a nurse I need this to work every time and it does I do second check it once in awhile and it shows it's close enough within .1 or .2 degrees

The only thing I don't like is how you have to wait a minute before ...

The only thing I don't like is how you have to wait a minute before taking a 2nd reading or it won't work. Once you get the hang of that, it's perfect, especially for toddlers as I have. Non invasive and fast. Great product, great price.
