We purchased this set, the cookie set, and sunny patch set for our cruise. (We had 3 beach days and 5 kids ages 2-7). We were the most popular bunch at the beach. The kids loved these toys. They were very sturdy and as shown.

Not just my kids but all the kids surrounding us at the beach were playing with this non-stop the entire week. It was a big hit, from my younger 18m to my older 9years and all ages in between. I highly recommen this.

This is a well made toy! Very Durable!

I bought this a gift for my active 4 year old who is hard on his toys. He loves to play with the Kinetic sand with this. The scoop really makes it look like real ice cream. He has not used the shaker yet but the rest of the toys he loves. They are made of thick plastic that is not easily broken. Which we love as most of the other sand buckets he had have cracked after a year or so of use. This one we have not had that long but you can tell it is better made then the ones from the big box stores we normally buy.

Bring food coloring

So much fun a the beach! Especially if you add food coloring. Put some sand in the bucket add for coloring. Put the lid on. Shake it up. And you have pink, blue, yellow, etc sand icecream cones. Also makes a nice sand castle.

Kids like this realistic scooper for making cones. The shaker with sand in it is a favorite. They say they are adding sprinkles to the ice cream cones. With two kids you will need two, because the shaker is a favorite. Very fun interactive well made product

2 and 4 year old loved it.

Bought this for our granddaughters, 2 and 4, to take to the beach in Florida. They played with it the whole time and wanted it at the pool too. The making of ice cream cones out of sand and shaking sprinkles of sand or water is irresistible for little hands. Well made and colorful and packs away perfectly.

Adorable!

These were too cute! We actually took them on a snow trip and they worked beautifully. It kept the kids (and some adults) entertained for a while. We literally made 'ice' cream!!!! Can't wait for summer time use!

Favorite beach toy!

By far my four year olds favorite Beach Toy, she spent hours making ice cream cones for people during our recent visit to the beach. They are pricey for what they actually are though we ended up using items from our play kitchen for more Beach fun at half the cost.

High quality sand set

The Melissa and Doug sand sets are awesome! The ice cream set is especially fun and was a favorite on our recent beach trip. The plastic is sturdy and will likely hold up to many years of use. Both my two-year-old and nine-year-old daughters enjoyed this set. I even occasionally caught my 13 year old playing with it! These are pricier than dollar store sets, but worth it.
