Get this over energy.
So much better than the Energy suspension transmission mount!! It is wider and stiffer, stock height with no need for a a pre-load plate. I I put it next to the energy one and with the pre-load plate the energy one was taller, without it is was shorter. This one is much easier to install since it has an Allen screw with a bolt that locks it in place. Just put the screw in with the bolt already on it, tighten it then tighten the bolt. Bought Energy version to replace my broken stock mount on a 98 z28. Immediately had drive-line vibration. Tried with and without pre-load plate, upgraded to an UMI torque arm relocation bracket, upgraded to an UMI adjustable torque arm and replaced the energy torque arm bushing with the prothane one supplied with that. Still had vibration. Bought this one and so far it's gone.

No vibrations
Excellent I'm sooo happy I found the causes of my vibrations from 45 to 65 mph. Old mount was torn in half!!!! U joints had 25% missing from one stud under a cap. Huge clunk when put in reverse but i was too dumb to remember what that meant. But NOW my 2005 chevy express 3500 6L with 700,000 miles will RIDE and PLUMB again!!!!!!! THANK YOU AMAZON!!!!!! Especially for the 1-day shipping, I got it in less than 24 hours. You gained my loyalty today. I'M GRATEFUL!!!! Your plumber TRU!

Does the job, and well.
Purchased this unit for 99 Trans Am with the LS1 engine because I didnt want to spend that much on an OEM mount, it is aldo a bit dificult to locate a proper mount for these cars outside of the dealer. A side note for those looking, you can purchase a 93-97 LT1 rubber mounts from your local parts store and bolt it up to your LS1 powered car. Now back to the Poly mount. It installs in a few minutes and comes with the hardware you need to do so. You will notice a bit more driveline vibrations in the seat of your pants and on the shifter but thats expected since it is a poly mount. I have put over 3,000 miles on the car since installing the mount and have gotten used to the vibration (which is very slight). Personally I think if you are going to complain about small vibrations and harsh ride in an F-body, then you have bigger problems. Buy the mount, and use the money you saved for something else.

Holds things where they should be
I had no idea how sloppy my stock YJ (Dana300 swapped) trans mount was till I replaced it with this. Though a smaller width unit, it is much stiffer. Stock mount had no visual tears or damage but I could move the rubber by hand. The transmission and transfercase used to move under load. Not anymore This part was an exact fit.

Very durable mount
This mount appears to be made way better than the oem one but at the same time it's much more rigidly made also . With the rigidity of it I expect to feel much more vibration than with the original .

I didn't notice increased vibration but compared to a blown mount it should get better with a urethane mount anyway
I got sick of the cheap rubber ones blowing out on my 97 Trans Am. This thing is solid and should last forever. I didn't notice increased vibration but compared to a blown mount it should get better with a urethane mount anyway. My car also has urethane engine mounts.
