My daughter is two. I got this set for her for Christmas this last year. She loves to cook. I bought this along with a play kitchen for her. These pots and pans are really well made and stand up to a lot of rough play and bath time play. Her favorite piece is the fried egg. I can't recommend this set highly enough. There are no especially small pieces that a small child could put in their mouth and choke on and each piece is so well made that she has enjoyed hours and hours of imaginative play.

Although they are in proportion to the pots and pans, some are so small they may cause choking. The carrot in particular because of the shape is the perfect size to fit in a child's throat. I am undecided as to whether I will give this food item to my grand daughter. She's only two and she doesn't usually put things in her mouth but you never know. Over all, this looks like something she will really enjoy. I am giving it for Christmas along with the KidKraft Espresso Kitchen, so it should be the perfect fit. I also bought the KidKraft dishes and a set of the play food. With the huge set of plastic food items, I doubt she would miss these small wooden pieces. The fried egg that came with this is very cute though and not too small at all.

Fun, durable, and makes cooking fun for our little one

We ordered these accessories to go with the KidKraft Kitchen for our daughter. She absolutely loves mimicking what we do so when she saw these pans on her kitchen on morning she pointed at them and practcally squealed with delight. Now she pretends to make us breakfast and even flips one pan on top of the other to "present" us with our meal. These are the perfect size for the grill tops on the kitchen and durable enough to survive quite a few drops on a tile floor without any dents. I would definitely recommend getting these. At first I thought the price was a little high but it definitely reflects the quality of the cookware.

Perfect addition to the tiny kitchen

I purchased this to go with my granddaughters kitchen for her birthday and could be happier with the quality and perfect size of the pans. The little food are a hard plastic, works well for little ones who try and bit everything. This is a great quality set and has been beaten on for the past 4 months, so its got my win and my granddaughter loves them and has fun putting food in the pot and pretending to cook, so cute.

Lightweight, sturdy kitchen set

Really glad I got this metal set for my 3 year olds kitchen as opposed to some of the wooden kinds. Ive looked at friends wooden sets and found them to be too heavy, harder to clean and they chipped easily. This set is light weight, well made, shiny (what kid doesn't like shiny?) and even comes with some little random food items. Also, they are the perfect size for little hands.They fit perfectly with my KidKraft kitchen and with my other Melissa and Doug food items. It also go to me really quickly (yay Amazon Prime :) ). I would definitely recommend this item to anyone looking for a pot/ pan set for their childs' kitchen- its great.

Perfect size

I spent so much time trying to decide which pot and pans set to get cause I wanted a decent size. These are perfect, I used a normal sized soda can so you can get a better idea of the size. My son LOVES it! He's been pulling all our pots out for months and I bought some kid ones prior to this purchase but they were so tiny I just returned. So so so happy with these. The food in the images are also from kidcraft's play food service just an fyi (: Definitely buy if your looking for some great sized pots and pans for your little one.

This is a great little set... love the look of the pots and pans and they're the perfect size for my son's kitchen. I think my favorite piece is the fried egg. The food pieces are all wooden and good quality.

Realistic pots and pans

My friends son was turning 2 years old. His grandmother was going to purchase the stove from the same company. So I thought I would order the pots and pans to go with it. His mom sent me video showing me how much her son loves the pots and pans so much. He really loves the foods it comes with.

Miniature version of real utensils

We bought this to complement our kids' toy kitchen, and I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of the what's in the package. They are sturdy, looks great and you can tell the manufacturer did not go cheap on build material and quality. Extremely happy with the purchase. Highly recommended!!

Suitable for even younger kids

This was purchased as a gift for a 1 and 3 year old. I didn't see anything that would be an issue for a supervised one year old. Both kids loved it as an addition to their play kitchen. High quality pans and pretend food!!
