Almost perfect, far better than the Simple Human I've been using for years after mostly giving up on the pursuit of fog free mirror for shaving in shower. I'm not sure if the direct comparison is fair cause all other mirrors do it with a mounted mirror and this one makes you take it off and fill it. That said, fill it with hot water and use the squeagy which comes with and you will be good to go. Even stays fogless for quite some time if you dump the water. It will fog eventually but not until long after you dumped the water. That is the key, dumping the water which I occasionally forget and then it leaks over night. I heard it dripping which alerted me most recently. No big deal just a bit different process than all the ones we've all tried over the years. I expect mold problems in it eventually from constant wet dry cycle but at this cost you can replace it occasionally. BUY. Now, you won't be disappointed

I have bought numerous fog free mirrors in the past always to be disappointed. So far I can say this one does not disappoint. It is a great size that allows for a full face view for shaving, has a shelf under the mirror for razors or whatever you wish to put there, comes with a squeegee for ridding the mirror of water droplets, has a nice adhesive back that works much better than any of the suction cup mounted mirrors I have tried in the past and the mirror removes from the main unit without removing it completely from the wall allowing you to use the mirror elsewhere without messing up its adhesion to the wall or messing up the placement. To use the mirror you simply pour warm or hot water into the mirror unit which has some width to allow it to hold the water, albeit for a short time as it has holes in the bottom to allow the water to drain out. This process keeps the mirror fog free very well. If you happen to take a very long shower and notice it starting to fog up just pour in some more water and you're good to go. SO far this has been the best fogless mirror we have used by far. Very happy we found this product.

****** UPDATE ******* I've now been using this mirror for over a year. It is STILL working like a champ. I stand by my initial 5-star review and endorse it even more whole-heartedly. Instead of going through a ton of mirrors with a "fog-free" coating that will wear out, buy THIS mirror. It's a little more pricey than most but totally worth it. ************************ It works! A shower shave mirror that actually doesn't fog up - when used correctly. Due to unfair genetics... I've had to shave my head since I was 25. I'm now 33. I've always found it easiest to shave my head in the shower, except for the fact that every "anti-fog" shower mirror eventually (some in as little as a week or two) starts fogging uncontrollably. I've been through my fair share of shower mirrors and, so far, this is easily the best one I've used. The mirror comes in two pieces: the mirror itself, and a mounting bracket. Application is easy - no suction cups to deal with. The mounting bracket sticks to your shower wall via some double-sided tape. It secures the mirror extremely well, but I'm a little concerned about what removal is going to be like - that tape is strong. It also makes the application a little more time consuming. You need to ensure it's exactly where you want it. However, once it's up, it's up... possibly until the end of the world. The mirror itself is pretty huge and resembles a flat-screen monitor. It's big enough that you'll get a clear view of your entire head, or face. The bracket also has a pivot, so you can tilt the mirror to the best angle. There's also a razor shelf on the mounting bracket... for your razor. When you get in the shower, the mirror will start to fog up... I know... I said it was fog-free. The genius of this mirror is in the water reservoir behind the reflective surface. You simply pop off the mirror from the bracket and fill the reservoir with hot shower water, slide it back on the bracket, and wipe the screen with the included squeegee. Then, voila! You have a (truly) fog-free mirror. I've only been using the mirror for a few weeks, but so far, I've been very impressed. Since the mirror isn't relying on a fog-free coating to get rid of fog, I have a feeling that I'll be using this mirror for a long time. Especially since I don't know if I'll ever be able to remove the bracket... seriously, that tape is strong.

I see there are many opinions about this mirror. my review is going to be on point for a new time buyer/user. I do not have long-term experience with this item, but I said I was going to buy an expensive fogless mirror, and I did. It is fogless. everything about it is 'just okay'...... my advice to you, Check the mirror before you mount it! fill it with hot water and make sure that it does not leak water around the edge of the mirror, between the frame and the mirror. you think somebody smart would have put some silicone between the mirror and the frame so water wouldn't come out seeing if it's meant to hold water; no seal. water (because of water pressure) seeps out fast, mine is already mounted, don't know how to return it..... Update: one quick email to the company and they quickly made good on the defective mirror. I have no complaints.

This mirror really works well. The simple but ingenious design that allows you to put hot shower water in the well in the back guarantees that absolutely no fog appears on the mirror at all. At first I thought the included squeegee was a gimmick, but it's actually useful too. Once you've put hot water in the mirror and squeegeed it off, it is crystal clear. In fact, I realized a few days ago, this might be the closest and clearest view I've ever had of my face while shaving, since previous shower mirrors didn't work that well, and leaning over a bathroom sink, you're much further away from the mirror than standing right next to it in the shower. The only minor flaw is that there is a slight "funhouse mirror" effect due to it being made of plastic and warping a bit. But who cares? You're shaving, not tracing engineering drawings. Get it, you'll love it.

Update: Four years after purchase and daily use, this product looks and functions just like the day I installed it for the first time. Amazing quality and durability! Original review: This mirror is perfect for shaving in the shower. You fill it up with hot water from the shower, at whatever temperature you like your water, and it doesn't fog up at all. It takes 10 seconds to fill it up, and you don't have to worry about it at all till next shower. I don't empty it between showers, and that has not caused any issues. The next time you use it you just dump the cold water and replace it with hot water. I use a shaving brush to apply shaving cream, and I use the water container that is part of the mirror to soak my brush, which makes the mirror double as a water bowl. Super convenient. I purchased this mirror from Amazon more than two years ago, and I used daily. During the two years I moved twice, uninstalling and reinstalling the mirror in 3 different showers simply using store bought silicon to "glue" it to the tiles. The mirror is still as functional as the day I bought it. There is no sign of water damage, scratches or any other visible damage to the mirror or any parts of the frame. The image in the mirror is sharp, and it is easy to angle and adjust. I couldn't be happier.

This product lives up to it's claims. Quick and easy to install (reading the instructions took longer) and it looks and works great! I think I may be buying a few more of these to give as Christmas gifts. Shipping was quick and well packaged. Communications from the seller were excellent, although my wife did raise an eyebrow when she saw the ToiletTree return address. More like a somewhat confused: "What have you ordered now?" look. ;D

Couple of observations. 1. it was like getting a 4k High Definition upgrade from VHS compared with the old mirror that would fog and whose frame was rusting. 2. extremely and pleasantly surprised that the peel-off adhesive stuck to the slightly textured tile wall in the shower. No need to use suction or silicon adhesive gel. The design is brilliant. Looking forward to many years of use! Thank you ToiletTree !!

In a few months I will have been using this mirror for 7 years in 5+ different showers. The only issue I've had is with the pivot losing its grip after a few years and allowing the mirror to rotate all the way down. I cut a piece of packing foam and glued it so that it will hold the mirror in position. Other than that, I love this thing. Just fill it with water and it stays fog-free. I've used generic silicon adhesive to attach it each time I've moved and it is has never shifted position (I'd be worried if it ever had). This is one of the few things I own that I can still recommend after several years. Totally worth it.

I love the mirror - it's high quality. I love the whole thing - great design. It has been a great addition to my shower and it allows me to make some pretty interesting custom made beards. I only suggest that you make dead sure you want it where you put it, because it's tape that cannot be moved once it's set. Also, you might want to put it away from water, like to the very back of the shower; opposite of the shower head. I ended up putting it on the side of the shower. It was near the back of the shower and it still gets sprayed from time to time. The product comes with a nice squeegee, so I was able to use that to see. Even with this, it is still a great product, just place it properly and I see no idea why it can't work for you to satisfaction. I store my water reservoir in a dehumidified environment, since I live in a humid environment and I was concerned about the mold. The water reservoir is very simple and it's great to have a no fog mirror. I highly suggest this product.
