Much prettier in person. It has 2 sides and a soft ivory colored glow (NOT dark on the tips like the picture seems to show)..

Lovely glow, great price

It has a lovely golden glow as the facets of the star are shell, not glass. One thing to be aware of: it is a little heavy, so you may have to trim the tip top of your tree down to where the trunk is strong enough to support the star so it does not lean to one side. PS: The price has jumped a lot as Xmas nears. Nearly 50 dollars. But at the end of Nov it was only $29.90, shipping included.

Beautiful tree topper at a great price!

I think the star looks exactly as pictured, and it makes a beautiful addition to our Christmas decorations. You do need to squeeze the metal spiral to fit around the tree without wobbling, and we also had to trim the top of the tree down a bit since the spiral isn't very deep. We got compliments on it throughout the season!

Exact match to the one I bought on Anthropologie (same brand and everything) that they shipped to the wrong address. It reminds me of the one we had as a kid

Stunning! The Photo Doesn't Do It Justice!

This star tree topper is absolute stunning! We purchased the topper because we dropped the one we had when we were decorating the tree. I decided to go on Amazon.com to buy a replacement because of Amazon Prime two-day shipping. We were so surprised when we put the star on top of our Christmas tree. Since the star is made of capiz, the 10 lights in the star make the entire tree dazzle. Our tree is about 7' tall and the topper is the perfect size for it.

Have had this same star for over 30 years so it has needed fixing and light replacement through the years. Mine was looking shabby and hard to keep stable on top of the tree. I now have a brand new one! Gives off a warm glowing light.
