Simply wonderful! Easy installation, lots of enjoyment
Originally I bought this mobile just for its arm, since I needed one to hang a bird mobile I had received and this was about the same price as just a mobile arm. However, I have loved all parts of this! It was so easy to attach to the crib (thanks to the other reviewer about not tightening the knob too tightly, that probably saved me from breaking the rectangular plastic piece), the adjustability of the hanging length is nice, and I love the pictures. It's great that there are some for different ages and they're super easy to switch out. I've actually put the bird mobile away until my wee one is older, since she loves looking at these pictures so much. In fact, I take the mobile off at night so she isn't distracted; this is also very easy to do since the top piece slides off the base easily. I've also put the two extra pictures plates up next to her changing table and she loves babbling to them as I change her diaper. I'm very pleasantly surprised with how happy I am with this purchase.

Baby loves it!!
My 2 month old baby LOVES this, it’s the cutest thing. It was one of the few things I bought for Christmas since he’s clueless at this stage, but I’m so glad I did. I installed it over his changing table (it has slats so works ok), and the first time he saw it he giggled. Heart melted. I have since purchased more products from this line since he truly reacted and enjoyed this toy. I should note- when I first attempted assembly I could not get the 2nd cross bar to fit through the main one. My husband eventually forced it through. It is true that the discs could become loose. I remind big brothers to be gentle when playing with baby/not to push too hard because the discs could fall off! But so far it’s been OK.

Baby loves it
Bought this for newborn. She's now 3 months and still loves looking at this. It doesn't spin but I leave a fan running in the bedroom and it spins it for her. She also has fancy mobile that spins, plays music and lights up. She hates it.

she seems to particularly like looking at the image of a face
My granddaughter started to notice the pictures at about 6 weeks of age. Now, at 8 weeks, she seems to particularly like looking at the image of a face. I like that this doesn't turn automatically -- it gives her time to focus on the individual images. Other nice features: it can be raised and lowered, so that it will remain out of reach as she grows; also, it comes with additional picture discs that will keep her interested as she develops.

This is a wonderful mobile. I am an occupational therapist, and therefore, the development of my child’s visual perception and motor skills is influenced by my education and experience. This mobile is versatile in that you can switch out the discs, and it’s really fun to watch baby enjoy it. Some people don’t like that the mobile doesn’t spin on it’s own, but we have another travel mobile that plays music and is battery powered so it continues to move, and baby gets overwhelmed by this pretty quickly. The Manhattan Toy mobile allows her to switch her gaze naturally, and track the disc that she chooses to with her developing vision. At first she loved staring st the black and white image of the baby face and now that she is older she will follow the colored images of the sun, car, and fish, and then switch back to the baby face which she still loves at almost four months. This is a must have mobile. Don’t bother with battery powered products.

Money Well Spent!
Buy this mirror; do not even think twice about it! This is by far one of the best purchases I've made in the past 9 months. We originally purchased this to put in our daughter's crib when she started getting flat head at 1 month. When it arrived we ended up using in her play area for tummy time, and 9 months later we have literally been using it every single day since. I either have it propped up against something or I have it hanging as my daughter just loves looking at herself in the mirror. Now that I have it hanging she likes to get under it and look at the black and white pictures on the back of it. I had done a lot of research before buying this one and decided on it because most of the other ones out there I found were made with toxic chemicals. We've been so pleased with it's functionality, and would hands down recommend this mirror.

My baby LOOOVES IT!
Our baby is hard to keep entertained but whenever we put him on the crib, he is happy because he can look at this great mobile. The only suggestion I would make is to have it move on its own, but again, I wouldn't want anything bulky. The design on this one is pretty perfect, you just need to stay near by to keep it moving.

Our baby loves it!
Our baby is now 4 months old. We've had this product for a couple months now. He has really been enjoying it! Be aware that it doesn't spin on its own but that doesn't bother our baby so I don't see that as a downfall. You can change the pictures and it offers different picture recommendations for different ages. It was quick and easy to assemble.

Makes Baby Hypno-Toad
This thing is pretty amazing. I rigged it up with a battery-powered device that turns the mobile and has music, as was suggested by another reviewer. My baby is just over two months old now and we have had this for probably three weeks. He loves it. He will stare at it easily for twenty minutes. Usage tips: the images come with age guidelines written on them in small print. I found that really helpful. The images tend to excite my baby, so I would not get this if you’re looking for something for bedtime. It does calm my baby a bit if he’s crying, but it definitely does not make him sleepy.

Amazing! Baby loves this!
This is amazing! I was a little hesitant because it's not the most beautiful mobile but decided to go with it after reading some research on Wimmer Ferguson - the high contrast designs. Ultimately, babies love it because they can actually SEE it! Our 4 moth old will coo, giggle and talk to these shapes as long as we'll let her! It holds her attention and allows her to happily "play" in her crib. Unfortunately because she thinks they're so fun it distracts her from sleep so we can't lay her beneath it for bedtime. Feels a little flimsy but it's held up well. The designs are marked by age 2-4+ mos and can be interchanged. My only complaint is that I wish the overhead arm extend further so our baby didn't need to have her head so close to the crib wall to see it.
