it could some day save a loved one or yourself
Bought this for my bug out bag, thinking I'd probably never need it.Last night my son dropped my new dalstrong clever and tried to catch it.He severed his artery on his wrist among other muscles and tendons.Out came the bug out bag and this bandage,10 seconds later I had the bandage on with no experience, stopping all bloodflow.A fast drive to the ER later I was complemented by the surgeon on the bandage, they kept it on until he was ready for surgery. I came back to review this as I order 2 more.If your on the fence, buy it,it could some day save a loved one or yourself.

Perfect for home
Im writing this while buying more on Amazon. I am very happy with these having only bought them to add to our home med kit. Last week my young daughter fell while carrying her dinner plate to the sink, the plate broke and landed across her forearm deeply cutting her. I was able to compress the wound , stop the bleeding and apply this bandage before rurshing her to the hospital. It worked perfect and the med staff was impressed. I am reminded that accidents can happen anytime, always be prepared!!!!!

Used one on myself....OMG was I glad I had it!
I was taking a mirror off the back of a door 4 nights ago....crash! That mirror broke and slide down my leg. I couldn't stop the bleeding with direct pressure (I did slow it down). My wife was running around the basement looking for this bandage all the while the blood was pooling under my death grip I had on my ankle. She finally found it. That bandage stopped the bleeding within seconds. When I got to the hospital and they unwrapped that bandage I thought it was going to gush blood everywhere, nope. It took like 15 seconds and the Doc got a good look at it and BAM! Blood was fast and furious. This bandage is AWESOME! The Doc asked me if I wanted to keep the bandage when I was closed up? I was seriously temped to tell her YES! But, I didn't want to seem like a idiot. I just came on tonight to replace the one I just used with four more. I never post reviews, but this one is personal.

Great Bandage
Its a great product, its reliable. Big area of sterile cotton. Pressure bar works great. Used by the U.S. Military. Only downside would be the size. It takes up alot of space.

There is no good reason not to put at least one of these in every home / business / car / RV / boat, etc. and learn how to use
for a few bucks, just put one of these in your vehicle trauma kit. no car or truck should be without a basic trauma kit. that goes double for any kind of RV, boat, 4 wheeler, etc. these things are small, lightweight and dont go bad. they could buy you some time if you ever encounter a heavy bleeding wound. I'm not saying that everyone on Earth needs to go out and become a licensed Paramedic, but some Quick-clot & bandages could save a life and they're small, light, and cheap enough that it's kind of a no-brainer. it's about the size and shape of a rolled up pair of men's dress socks.

Carried these in the military and loved them, just make sure you know how to properly put it on someone first. If you are a first time user to these bandages, I suggest you buy 2. One for your kit and one to practice on. There is a learning curve to properly put them on so practice makes perfect. Bought a few for our range bags and we hope to never use them but happy to have them around. --JY

Great Bandage, Good Packaging
It's a bit difficult to review an item you have not used. So I'll review what I know about it. It arrived in good condition quickly with a great vacuum seal. This is compact enough to fit into any medical kit be it small or large. I carry one in my camping bag with some Celox. This bandage is used by the US Military, Israeli Armed Forces, and many Emergency Medical Technicians. The US Armed Forces started using it in the Iraq War because it reduced trauma injury death significantly. The benefit comes from the pressure this bandage applies to stop severe bleeding. It's versatile as well, you can apply this bandage to others and yourself as well thanks to the loop and brackets. 10/10, I hope neither you or myself have to use it.

Who knows more about battle than the Israelis. The title alone makes it worth buying
I guess if it was called New Zealand battle dressing, it would not have quite the same panache. I do know that this is a simple to use and well packaged dressing. Everything is vacuum sealed and tightly compressed so it doesn't take a lot of space. If you have a major wound, you will have more than enough compressive dressings to place over the wound. I use it in my trauma kit. Just make sure you have some anti-bleeding powder, I also have some combines and compression pads. Easy use and fits in the trauma bag without a problem

Long expiration date. Good price.
Mine came with a sterile date (the date the product was sterilized) only three months old and an expiration date almost 8 years away. The US importer has a good video that shows how to use the bandage. Order an extra one to train with if you do not already have experience with them. I found it very intuitive after a couple of tries. One handed on your own arm is the hardest to do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2_EU1T-o-g

First Aid MUST Have
Being an EMT in a major city I’ve learned how valuable these are and wanted to make sure I have some in my first aid kits. I bought a few for home and my truck(mobile) first aid kit. These might seem like they are “advanced” but this bandage is a great tool that can literally save a life. You can easily understand how to use them! They add a great amount more pressure than a regular bandage. They come in a well sealed sterile package and seems to be vacuumed, making it fit well into my kits. This is one of those things you will be thankful you have close by if or when an event arises.
