My review will be about the product which I had to get elsewhere because the seller on here never sent it and amazon did give refund. You have to be sure about measuring where it will go before buying. Bought extra small for a 3 year old. Went up above elbow. It worked great for about the 6 weeks then it became stretched out with pulling it apart to get over cast. Then it started to fail and allowed water in and cast got wet. This was all with swimming which this is supposed to be for. Was outstanding in tub for baths. She never complained about it and we were happy to find something swim proof for as long as we got.

We sized correctly (xtra small for a 6 year old with cast up to his elbow) and it worked perfectly for our son. We didn't get a single drop of water on his cast during our entire 10 day Hawaiian vacation. My son was able to snorkel and boogie board with no issues. Zero modifications.. slide it on, suck out the air, close the valve and good to go. This saved our vacation!! Thank you!!

Got this for our 7 yr old son, who broke his forearm/elbow, 3 weeks before a trip to Florida and a cruise. Cast was a full arm cast, and there was no way it was going to be removed before the trip. We looked into "waterproof" cast options, but EVERYONE cautioned us about not having it fully dry out and constant moisture against the skin. So we bought this as a solution. It worked GREAT!!! Son was able to swim in pools, ocean, water slides, etc... Playing just as you would expect a 7 yr old boy to play. No leaking. The one thing we did to help with putting it on/off, was cover the cast with a nylon sleeve (cut a leg off pantyhose). This allowed the sleeve to easily slide on and off. They key is to make sure you have a good seal at the top: no wrinkles, keep the nylon out, and allow for a little flexibility for movement.

My 2 1/2 yr old son had surgery on his hand and as a result has a full arm cast to his shoulder. We thought we could get by using a trash bag for bath time, but quickly realized that was not going to cut it for the next 4 weeks! AFter reading all the reviews, I was a little uncertain about which size to order; so many reviews all over the place regarding fit, but looking at the size chart online, we opted for the x-small full arm cover. (Side note, he is big for his age, the size of a 3 yr old.) It took about 3 baths before I got the hang of it, and now it's super quick and easy to do. My son's cast covers his entire hand, so it is quite large and bulbous at the end, and fitting the cover over that end is definitely tight. But anyone who has a typical fingers free cast should not have any issues getting the cover on. It is tight, yes, but it is supposed to be to keep the water out and protect the cast. Now my son is able to enjoy a little water time without us having to worry about his cast getting wet. Worth the purchase!

I was skeptical when my husband ordered this for our 4 1/2 year old son, who was in a full arm cast. (He broke his arm on the playground during his last week of school and was devastated to think he wouldn't be able to go swimming with his siblings this summer.) We measured his arm and ordered the corresponding size, which fit perfectly. It was an adjustment for him the first time he used it, but it worked great and he was able to swim on three separate occasions with no leaks. We also started using it for bath time because it was so easy to use.

Awesome product! Allowed my 11 year old daughter to shower and swim just like her peers and not be concerned with her cast getting wet! She was jumping in and swimming underwater without any moisture leakage! Showering was finally stress free! Wish I had heard about this and bought this for my son when he had a cast years ago!! We had ordered a half arm (size Small) for her but it was just too big for her skinny arm so we returned it for the full arm (size XS) and it was perfect! Don't think twice- you won't be disappointed! Worth every penny! We plan to keep it on hand and share it with any friends that may encounter a bone break during swim season!

My two year old son broke his arm and we got this to use so he can get in the pool. It works very help! It is hard to get on and tight on the cast/arm but it works! We didn’t end up sucking the air out because it was already tight enough on his arm. I would highly recommend this for any child that has a cast on! We got the smallest one for my two year old and it was still a little long but it worked- we didn’t cut any of it off. Highly recommend!

This cast cover was a life saver! Our 3 year old son fractured his arm in May just as the pool got warm enough to swim. We tried plastic bags and tape at first, but they leaked within 20 minutes. The doctor actually recommended this brand to us and I was skeptical because of some of the reviews and the price. Our son had a cast up to his elbow but I ordered the full arm size anyway. The XS was still a little to big around the top and we had some trouble keeping suction. We bought some waterproof tape from the first aid section at the drug store and wrapped a piece around the top before sucking the air out. This worked perfectly and after he was done swimming, the tape didn't hurt his skin. Even after hours in an out of the pool his cast would remain dry. Now that his cast is off I actually decided to save this "flapper" in case of another injury during the summer months!

We purchased the full arm cast cover in extra small when my 15 month old broke her wrist the day before we left for our beach vacation. She had a water proof short cast but we needed to keep the sand out of it. I was worried that this wouldn't seal around her tiny arm (her upper arm measured exactly 6 inches around), but it generally worked really well. We wrapped the cast in Glad press and seal before putting the cast cover over it, so that it would slide on smoothly. The suction broke a few times in the sand and ocean, but we always caught it and fixed it quickly and never had any sand or water end up inside the cast cover. I researched a ton of products and was very glad we chose this one.

My daughter broke her finger a week before leaving for vacation and ended up with a cast to her elbow! I was so upset thinking she wouldn't be able to swim the whole week!! I found this cover and after reading some of the reviews decided to try it. It was a life saver!!! It worked perfect and kept her cast dry while she swam for hours!! I wrapped the whole cast with press and seal (which is still the main reason I think the cast stayed dry) and took one of my husbands socks to put over that before putting the cover on it.
