Tip: Oil the hex threads before installing with some heavy oil or anti-seize compound to keep them rust-free and easily removable longer - if the equipment they are on is exposed to the weather. .

Wheels secure, hand truck back in shape.

This was exactly what I needed to secure the wheels to a hand truck, which had come with the install-once style of pushnut retaining clips on the axles. After the existing clips broke, I decided to splurge on a real solution rather than repeat the mistake made by the hand truck's manufacturer. At $0.89 each and free postage from Prime, that decision was actually pretty easy.
