Grinding of door surrounds

Not the easiest or funnest upgrade but it defiantly goes in. I had to grind down my door surrounds and some of the plastic inside the door by the wkndsheild but... it’s cool

easy to install

easy to install, very clean finish; less then a week ago, a co-jeeper roll over with its jeep, this roll cage save their lives, they were two in the jeep. Nobody got badly hurt, only scraches, and guess what?? they were NOT WEARING THE SEATBELT; BAD,VERY BAD.

good strong cage.... but...

Great strong cage..... I incourage people to get one. Install was pretty straight forward. Ran into a few issues.... if you have door surrounds you have to trim them to get back on jeep so holes will line up.. Also regular sound bar does not fit unless you make modifications. Which I did. But overall makes me feel safer. Don't wrench down bolts until cage is fully put together. Happy wheelin...... OOHHH YYeeahhh.... the rear bar doesnt fit with rampage bowless top. but the rest of cage is great fit.

Great product, well built

Great product, well built, quality materal, and looks great in the jeep. But not fun to install. I like the fact it comes with rolbar covers but only for the new bars. You will have to cut up the original ones ruining the zippers to make it all fit. We ran to hobby lobby and purchased Velcro to replace the zippers so knowing a seamstress is a bonus.

Buy it.

Was a little worried about the negative information out there about this cage. Was delivered on schedule. Was packaged unbelievably well. Was joy to install went together without a problem. I don’t understand the problems others have mentioned. Yeah a little trimming and massaging was needed but nothing that was too bad. Took 2 of us just over three hours to finish installing. I’m so glad I bought this cage.

This cage saved my life

Was hoping it would never happen. I rolled my Jeep a couple times down a hill. If not for this cage kit, I’m sure I would be dead if not very seriously injured. It was easy to install aside from a couple small issues with the bolts. The pictures I included show some of the cage painted green. The price is good and it definitely paid for itself during my tumble down that hill. Unfortunately some of the cage pieces did get bent and need to be replaced (not surprising). Overall, this cage kit did its job and definitely would buy it again. Thank you Smittybuilt
