I Love these fenders! Relatively easy install.
Wow! I love the new look of my Jeep JK Rubicon with these all metal fenders from Smittybilt! I also love the sense of accomplishment of doing this installation myself. If you're new to Jeeps or have been a Jeeper for a long time, you may have heard some mixed reviews of Smittybilt products. Speaking just for myself, I've not had a single bad experience with any of the Smittybilt products I've purchased. And these metal fenders are a perfect example. They are awesome! The arrive very well packaged, completely protected from damage during shipping. The are coated with a tough finish and they look amazing just sitting in the box! They do come with instructions...however, I HIGHLY RECCOMEND watching the same "How To" video I watched on YouTube. It was posted by "Overclock3d" (yes, it's a "3" instead of an "e") and the host, "CPO", does an outstanding three-part video an exactly how to remove your factory fenders and exactly how to install these Smittybilt fenders. I watched the video series at least three times and then felt confident tackling this project on my own. HINT #1: I "painted" my rear inner fender wells with black PlastiDip and they look awesome (see photo). HINT #2: When cutting your front fender liners for re-using after installing your Smittybilt fenders, watch the video by "Overclock3d" VERY VERY carefully. I did and still cut my front inner fender liners incorrectly! No biggie and nothing some Gorilla tape didn't solve! But just be aware of where you are cutting. HINT #3: I WAS going to put a 2" lift on my Jeep very soon... But with these new fenders, it sort of looks like it already has a small lift! Pretty amazing. For now, I may just put some 33" tires on it and leave the suspension alone!

Excellent Fenders
I really like these fenders. I have them on a detonator yellow 2008 JK unlimited. The jeep has a 2.5 inch suspension lift (leveling kit) and with these fenders and a trimmed pinch seam, I am able to run 37's without any trouble. The jeep looks really good (in my opinion). The fenders have a really durable finish. They look much better than cut stock fenders, and really I think they look better than any plastic flat fenders I have seen on a jeep JK. I did have to trim and re-use my factor inner fenders. There are lots of how-to's online for doing this and it is pretty easy. The only two "problems" I have encountered: 1) The hardware for the rear fenders - just the self-tapping screws - really suck. They could have included something a bit better. The ones included are really prone to stripping if you over-tighten them. I'd recommend getting some better screws. 2) There is no provision for the lights in the front fenders. I solved this with a couple of strips of LED lights. I used silicone to stick them on the inside of the front fender and wired them to the factory light wiring, but it really should not have taken much to just have a small tab with a hole and some kind of LED marker light included with the fenders. Also note that even with stock tires on the jeep, these front fenders do little to stop water and mud up onto the jeep, and with my mud tires, these fenders are not covering much. That is what I was looking for, but if you want something functional for stopping mud, rocks, and water, find something wider.

Don't second guess Smitty products
Installed mine a few days ago. Had previously purchased some plastic ones from rugged ridge 5 months ago. At the time it was a toss up with these or the plastic ones. For weight or for whatever dumb reason, I went plastic and paid a dear price for garbage. The rugged ridge ones broke in the wind on a 6 hour drive. Ridiculous! And to top it off. The plastic always looked dirty and spotty. Prob eventually would have faded. Worse. 13 jk 2 -door ....Most of my externals are smitty or the textured look of smitty metal (bumpers, rails, roof rack etc) so I don't know why I didn't go with these first. A. I would've saved a good penny B. These look better installed and C. It's more practical to the aggressive look I am maintaining. These fenders are lovely. I can't stop looking at them. Touching the texture. My wheel wells are long removed with last fender overhaul and the exposed frame and stubby bumper with these fenders just looks right. The design tapers with the jeep lines as if jeep really should just make these a stock option. I was never going to keep the plastic OEM ones. That was a given... so these metal smitty's won't fade in the sun or get cracked. Sure they could bend but I'm going for a sturdy jeep not a plastic toy one. Get these if you're in doubt. The price is good. Easy install. Sharp looking upgrade. I feel like these will last the life of the jeep if I don't go mod crazy.

Sweet fenders
Good quality fenders! Definitely makes the Jeep look more aggressive. Only issue was fitment, didn’t really fit the rear body fender lines flush but can’t beat the price! If your picky about fitment/quality then I would recommend getting poison spider fender flares & willing to spend about $800+! Installation was very very straight forward and easy, all hardware came as supposed to. Would also recommend buying the aftermarket inner fender liners, or you’ll have to modify the crappy old one that’s on it now, just FYI

Best fenders out there
Easy install Took longer to remove old fenders and liners than to install the new fenders Gives it a great aggressive look I did not care for the open exposed look of the missing fender liners, and cutting the factory ones would still look hacked and you would still delete your marker lights So I ordered the rugged ridge inner fender liners and they look awesome together and you install the factory marker lights

Look amazing!!!
Was really easy to install on my 2013 jku. About 2 hours if you're just messing around...maybe an hour if you are determined. You DO have to drill screws into the rear for mounting the fenders. They have self tappers and it's very user friendly.

I love these fender flares
I love these fender flares!!! They give the Jeep a very aggressive look and are made very well. Only problem is that if its raining or the ground is wet and you have the doors off, these fenders will not spot water from being sprayed into your Jeep by the wheels, but its a Jeep so it doesn't matter ;). Additionally, I cut the well liner that came with the stock fenders and attached them to the Jeep with some of the 10mm screws from the stock fenders in the front and just used the plastic rivets to attach the well liner in the back. Holding up great.

As advertised and can re-use fender wells
Fairly easy to uninstall the stock fenders and install these. Beware that you can really easily over torque the smaller self tapping bolts and pop the heads right off... Like I did. Also, it takes a little time but you can cut the stock fender wells to fit the new fenders up front. They aren't a perfect fit but still solid/utilize factory bolt holes and way better than nothing... and still look good.

Great for what they are
Great budget fender flares. Was looking for a more aggressive stance on the vehicle without introducing spacers or a wider tire; these were a great option. I originally had the body painted fenders and they were nice, but stuck way too far out from the body. These went on easy (mostly), seem durable, and drastically improve the aggressiveness of the Jeep. I only have two complaints, but one of them was my fault. If you are using aftermarket inner fenders with these, INSTALL THESE FLARES FIRST. I had a heck of a time trying to install the front driver flare after my new inners went on, but again my fault. The second minor complaint is hardware. The bolts/spacers/nuts combo used entirely on the front are great, however the rear only get two bolts and the rest are attached using very cheap self tapping screws. We will see how long they last, but may need to be upgraded in the future. Overall, a great option to upgrade your Jeep without breaking the bank.

easy to install although you'll need to watch some youtube ...
easy to install although you'll need to watch some youtube videos to get it right. took about 4 hours. fronts were a pain, backs were super easy. I did not install the inner front fenders so that made the install much easier - will get aftermarket inners as my next project. PS run your jeep in the rain and you're gonna get a lot of spray down the sides of your ride - great look but gonna need to wash her much more often. small price to pay I suppose.
