The sundial was an exceptional value. It is heavy enough to withstand strong winds without falling over and it's finish looks like those on much more expensive sundials. I don't know how the finish will hold up over long periods of time but after a couple of months it has retained it's good looks.

Great addition to my garden.

This is all the reviewers said it is. It is very easy to assemble however, the 2 screws needed to screw in the sun dial were not long enough and to find longer ones.

Solar powered time telling

This is a really nice sundial. It is well balanced, so even if you are putting it on grass, it stands firmly. Putting it together was a snap--it took about as long to take it out of its package (lots of careful wrapping) as it took to attach the screws and nuts. All tools needed were in the box. The surface is more coppery than the main picture on the descriptions--it is more like the pix at the side. IMHO, very attractive. The time is accurate (no DST for sundials). Not included in the description as I write this: Made in China. Dial face (dial plate): 14" in diameter. Tallest point of the gnoman from the dial plate: 6.5" Height from ground to dial face: 24" The gnoman is the part that is pointed due north--not magnetic north. The straight edge of the gnoman that actually marks the time is the style.

Super sun dial

Super sun dial. This basically arrives in 4 pieces. Attach Sun dial face & base to pedestal & attach conman to Sun dial face. Very easy to assemble. The sun dial face & gnoman appear to be aluminum, but the pedestal & base appear to be cast iron. The base gives it some weight which makes it stable so it doesn't get blown around by wind. The antique copper finish looks superb! It is 24" tall to Sun dial face & Sun dial face is 14" diameter. When assembled, it is very beautiful looking & feels very solid. Excellent buy!!

Great Value

I'm a teacher and our school put in a garden this year. Our 4th grade students wanted to present a class gift to the school and decided on a sun dial. I ordered this one and was very happy with the price and the quality of the item. After seeing it first hand I will be ordering one for my home garden.

Great gift

I bought this as a gift for a hard-to-shop-for friend, and it was a home run. He had no trouble putting it together. We both were impressed with the quality: it's heavy and stable and looks great. He even got charmingly excited about the irony of using an iPhone compass app to help set up a sundial properly in his backyard!

"Timely" item.

Product i as described. Well worth the price considering other similar products. First shipment was damaged but they company replaced it immediately and the new shipment was in tack. Well pleased.

Best Selling Dia Sol Sun Dial, Antique Copper

We bought this as a wedding gift and the bride and groom absolutely loved it. It really is beautiful and well made. Heavy enough to not tip in a wind.

VERY NICE SUN DIAL WITH OLD WORLD CHARM

Pleased with the sun dial. All parts were well packed and sun dial was easy to put together. Sellers description stated it was 41" tall, but was only 31.5". I'm still very happy with the way it looks. Took it outside and aimed it north and the shadow was an hour earlier than actual time and then I remembered we are in daylite savings so I adjusted the whole unit to the left and put the shadow on the correct time. Kept perfect time the rest of the afternoon. Won't need a watch on the patio anymore. YeeHaa!!
