but also quite sturdy. I'm using it to support a small bass ...
This stand was exactly what I was looking for; most similar stands are much taller and would not have worked for me. The stand folds up small and is lightweight, but also quite sturdy. I'm using it to support a small bass amplifier, which weighs about 30 pounds. It's very stable. I'm giving a 5-star rating for the product because it fits my needs perfectly, and is a really good value. There were some issues along the way however. The first stand I received had a broken part (a t-shaped piece had broken at the weld). Pyle customer service was very responsive, and quickly sent me a replacement. That replacement however was a different diameter, and the weld was not a 90 degree angle, but rather about 20 degrees off. Which would have caused the table to tilt to the side. Fortunately Pyle then sent me a replacement unit, which was in perfect condition. I hope they are able to address their QC issues (the rep claims the damage was probably in shipping, but I'd say that is a stretch), so other buyers don't have to suffer the same hassles.

Perfect for Laptop and small MIDI controller
I bought this, along with a Pyle Pro PLPTS5 Laptop Stand, to use with my 17" laptop and Roland A-300PRO MIDI controller. The height of the stand is perfect for playing while standing up (I am 6' 1") and it feels steady and rugged enough to use on stage, albeit with care. The Roland keyboard extends about 2" on each side but that's not a problem for me. The tripod stand is well built and feels like it will hold up well over time. The plastic tray was lighter plastic material than I expected, but it holds the keyboard and my brick of a laptop with no problems. Highly recommended, especially at this price! I would be happy to post a few photos if anyone is interested.

Sturdy, well made.
Very nicely made. I’m using it to hold a small video projector. Properly assembled, it will work perfectly. Assembly was easy, and instead of putting all the parts in little bags, the bolts and nuts were loosely fitted where they would eventually need to be, so you barely needed to read the instructions (which were written plainly in English) because it was evident what went where. Built nicely, I couldn’t find any indication of the country of manufacture/assembly. But it didn’t look at all like most of the stuff that comes from Asia, though who knows?

This is a fantastic little laptop/projector stand
This is a fantastic little laptop/projector stand. I'm using it to hold my laptop in front of my indoor bike/trainer so I can watch TV and movies as I ride. It's plenty big enough to hold my Surface 4 with room to spare on each side. It's easily wide enough to hold a 17" laptop if needed. It came unassembled, but I was able to put it together in a couple minutes with no problems at all. The height is fully adjustable, as are the tripod feet. It feels super stable with my laptop on it. I don't worry about it just falling over. I mean, if you ran in to it, it would tip, but it would take an effort, in which case nothing short of nailing it to the floor would likely help you. There really isn't much more to say about this. If you need a height adjustable table that folds down and is light weight and easily portable, this is for you.

But it certainly looks like it will do the job
I bought this to be an all-purpose work stand. The idea is to be able to have a small table to put tools on when working. Have not gotten around to using it yet, but the whole stand feels very solid. The plastic top is thick and rugged, with a textured surface and just enough of a lip around the edges to keep things from falling off, but not so big as to be obtrusive. It's not exactly mobile, as it takes up some space when folded up. But it certainly looks like it will do the job.

I was wOwed how beautiful this tripod looked
Very well throughout! After it was assembled, I was wOwed how beautiful this tripod looked. I am just gittity over this purchase!!! This will look just perfect with any projector and it looks so incredible. Makes a newbie like myself, look very professional! You can't go wrong with this Tripd. I would want more of these for the speakers just to have them around. The only thing is missing is the case, can someone please recommend a case for this stand?

Strong, Well Made, Adjustable and Easy setup/fold down. Excellent for travel!!
sturdy, tray will fit a 17.3" laptop with enough room for a mouse. I love that the product can be extended so I am able to stand up with about two or three more holes to go for full extension. Very versatile as I am able to transport as it can be folded down so quickly, less than 3 minutes to set up and fold, I dint have to read the instructions. Height can be adjusted to desired, it doesnt have to be rest on the safety pin, it was just there to prevent accidental drop of the pole but it the locking knob is sturdy enough that you may not need the locking pin but place it there anyway especially if you have a 17.3" laptop.

Perfect size tripod for projector
I received the universal laptop projector tripod stand yesterday. It is amazingly easy to set up and it will work perfectly for my new mini projector. I needed something that could sit on top of a table or extend to stand alone on the floor. This tripod fits the bill. It’s very sturdy and strong enough to hold my laptop. The top of the stand is flat and can easily spin or turn at an angle. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone. The price is especially good.

Nice little table.
Works great for a quick set up table for a micro DJ system. I use with a MacBook Pro, a laptop stand, and a small DJ controller. Table top plate is the perfect size for this application 20 x 16. No concerns about the weight but know; this is not for a large, heavy controller. Height adjust to 48 inches on the one I received, even though the specs say max height 41 inches. (Appears to be a newer model) Light weight, but pretty sturdy. There is a slight lip on all 4 sides of the top table and the table appears to be made of a less slippery material that works great with the ruber feet on my equipment. These 2 features help keep everything in place. Easy to put together. Great price. No issues with the tilt. I use it flat and tension holds perfectly! Really nice design

Solid, multiple ways to adjust to any need
Absolutely solid. I set my laptop on it when I need more workspace and feel fully confident with the pressure of typing away on it, I've used it to hold a large projector, used it to hold books, multiple heights and angles. It does reach the maximum height advertised, you can adjust the width of the legs if you need to have the stand in a narrow space and/or to reach the maximum height. Has a safety pin so the table part won't suddenly drop down and there are four knobs to secure the top so even if a couple somehow magically get loose, it's not going to give way or suddenly tilt. I love this thing. I use it one way or another every day.
