Solved overheating problem on 92 Miata
I used this to replace the crappy cheap aftermarket radiator I had on my 92 Miata that was overheating. A tight fit with AC and stock fans but it does fit and is totally worth it. The needle on my temperature gauge now looks like it is painted in place right where it should be. Great product a few more dollars is most definitely worth it for the extra cooling performance and peace of mind.

Nice upgrade over stock setup
Welds are great, never had any issues leaking coolant or having any restrictions. I've had this for 2 years and never had an issue, looks like it probably will last forever

High quality
I really like this rad, I don't really have much to add so I'll just give a few tips for anyone upgrading their Miata: - Fits really tight. I had to do a lot of wiggling to get it into my otherwise OEM engine bay. I reused the stock fans and attached them before putting the radiator in the car. Keep all of the bolts when you disassemble your stock cooling system, you'll reuse them. - If you're doing the coolant reroute at the same time, the top inlet is in the OEM location but you also have to consider that its closer to the engine. So I had to buy two 90 degree silicon elbows to go around the throttlebody. - I don't push my car very hard and I probably don't need the cooling capacity. This was a preventative maintenance item because the Miata's plastic-top radiator is known for splitting open.

Craftsmanship is great, everything from the welds
This radiator exceeded my expectations. At my work I replace many radiator usually with OEM parts and mishimoto's packaging alone exceeded that of anything I have opened for an OEM radiator. Craftsmanship is great, everything from the welds, to the shine, to the painted black lettering is close to perfect. Very happy to put this on my show car/ race car. It looks great and I know it will perform great too.

... base of the radiator sits in but installation was pretty straightforward. Also if you have a later 1
You need to adjust the cradles that the base of the radiator sits in but installation was pretty straightforward. Also if you have a later 1.8 with the intake baffle, it's a very tight fit. This thing is so much better than the stock radiator, the temperature actually goes down at speed on the highway. Another note, this thing took nearly 2 gallons of coolant so buy more than you'd expect.

Buy this, the fan shroud and the M-Tuned coolant reroute and say goodbye to coolant temps over 185F...

so far it's working great on my 95 miata
so far it's working great on my 95 miata. Since I used the stock fans, I had to cut the holtzman resonator off to fit the air pipe. This is only my daily driver so i didn't notice any drop in torque.

Mishimoto quality but a pain to install with stock fans
Boy is this a pain to install with stock fans... but it is possible, and with a 1.6 engine the stock fan touchs the intake tube but shouldn't cause any issues... also needed to shorten the top and bottom radiator hoses of course

Excellent choice for a upgrade.
Installed in a 1995 Mazda Miata with power steering and air. it while it fits snug, it fits well. It is also considerably lighter with greater cooling capacity. I installed it using the factory fans, again, a snug fit, but will fit. I would suggest as I did, to use a heavy poster paper taped covering the core as you lower the unit into place and install the fans However I would also like to acknowledge the vendor as my first unit arrived with some cosmetic packing damage, which they promptly sent a replacement unit. Thank you. Car enthusiasts take a lot of effort to get it right, it's good to see the vendors step up to meet that challenge.

Easy and quick install, this product works great. If you need a replacement this really makes the engine bay look much better and keeps the temps down as well. I'd recommend getting the silicone hoses to go along with this radiator.
