No overheating here!

Very easy installation as a replacement for the original radiator. Looks great too! Although one end of the package was ripped open during shipping, it was packed so well that there was no damage to the contents. I will definitely consider and purchase other Mishimoto products in the future. A first class product.

Helps keep engine temps down

Good product for the money. The upper Jose connection is in the OE spot, right in front of the intake. Since I was putting this radiator on my turbo Miata I had to get creative with bent radiator hoses to have a clean connection without any rubbing. The radiator is quite a bit fatter than stock which helps with cooling, but takes away much needed engine bay space. Combined with their matching fan set up I was able to make everything fit. So far I have driven my turbo Miata in summer weather without any signs of over heating.

Gets up to temperature just fine and once thermostat opens it cools right down

A little difficult for install, had to flip the brackets for the ac condenser, after that it sliped right in with mishimoto fans and shroud. Gets up to temperature just fine and once thermostat opens it cools right down. Spirited driving all day and nothing over 190F

Excellent Replacement for the Stock Radiator! Get one Today!

This is a bolt-on install in 1999 and 2000 model year MX-5 / Miata / Eunos Roadster. This is an excellent replacement radiator to replace the tiny stock radiator with plastic top and bottom. On newer cars, slight modifications may be required to the air conditioning lines - they just need to be bent out of the way. The stock radiator fans install easily on this radiator, however, there is a small gap between the radiator and the fans. Some people feel the need to close this gap by inserting some heat-resistant material but I believe this is not required. Some people also claim that the car will run a few degrees cooler after installing this radiator, however, this is not my experience. I use a ScanGuage II off the OBD II port and there is no difference visible to me. Finally, I have used to OEM radiator cap, off the old radiator, instead of the shiny new one that came with this radiator. Almost everyone on the 'Net agrees that the radiator cap that comes from Mishimoto will leak. Maybe, Mishimoto should provide the OEM cap with their radiator. Great product!

High-Quality High-Capacity Radiator - Very Good Value

This radiator is significantly bigger than the stock one in my '04 Mazdaspeed Miata, but it was not too much trouble to install. All metal, unlike most replacement radiators, and should last the life of the car.

Overall I am very pleased with the radiator and fan combination

I purchased this and the Mishimoto fan shroud, and both fit perfectly into the car (2001 Miata LS with 6 speed manual transmission) without modification except for wiring for the fans (the radiator itself dropped right in with no clearance issues at all, and is designed to accept the stock fans if that is what you want to use with it. I opted to purchase their higher flow fans and shroud). I do have a larger front sway bar, and there is no interference with it at all. Overall I am very pleased with the radiator and fan combination.

Good radiator

Works well, I don't track or anything but in Florida it gets stupid hot, and my stock cooling wasn't cutting it with the AC on, I stuck this baby in there and problems solved, make sure though if you are getting new fans with it as well to get quality ones, the ones I purchased were crap and actually made things worse. The radiator also had slight fitment issues but nothing I couldn't solve with some gentle shoving into place, you can drop this in without needing to cut anything for sure, though it's not exactly a perfect fit. It also came packaged well and has dat sweet Mishimoto life time warranty!

i mean, this thing look great, works great, and first great on my 2003 Shinsen Miata. Easy to install and will give your Miata a better looking engine bay, of course also being 100% useful and worth it. If your radiator needs replacement, don't hesitate, buy this one!

Received radiator in quality packaging and in great condition. This all aluminum, two core radiator is a great part for my miata. Improved performance and reliability is worth every penny.

The radiator is well made. It fit my Miata with no modifications needed to anything. Although it states for Manual Transmission only, it works fine even though I have an automatic with the recommended addition of the Mishimoto Universal Transmission Oil Cooler. It was easily mounted to the front of the radiator and the whole assembly still fit in with no modifications necessary. It was a tight fit though. The proof of why I gave it a 5 star rating is in its performance. It radically lowered the coolant temperatures I was experiencing in the scorching Southwestern desert when the Miata was drivien with spirit for long road trips. It kept the coolant in the "normal" range no matter what, compared to the OEM radiator I had before. I highly recommed the Mishimoto radiator.
