I have been purchasing HP 61 ink for years. I found printing in fast draft/grey scale helps tremendously with the ink issue. I print a lot of coupons and when I started using this ink my cartridge was empty within 2 weeks...Changed my printer settings and now lasts a month or more

HP 61 ink is the replacement ink for my HP Officejet 4635 all-in-one printer. So far, I have printed out 36 pages with no issues. The replacement ink came in the OEM HP cardboard box. I was concerned after reading numerous reviews with the ink being dried up, but I haven't had problems. I'll update if I have any issues like others have mentioned.

Works, but man it is expensive. I switched to a laser printer for cheaper printing. A brother laser printer is around $100 and prints 2500 pages on an off-brand toner cartridge for $9.00 shipped. I printed thousands of pages for pennies. I think my last printer count said 30,000 pages, doubled sided. Meaning, I paid about $110 to print 30,000 pages. That would have cost about $8,000 if I used my HP ink printer. DO THE MATH!!! save money!!! Hope that helps!

How can you go wrong with an official ink cartridge? Works well and lasts a while.

I've tried the cheap route with the cartridge refills and have always been thoroughly disappointed. I decided to spend the extra few dollars and get genuine HP Ink this time. Incredibly glad I did! These cartridges are instantly recognized by the printer, DOES NOT SMEAR, and lasts much longer than the counterfeits. On top of that, HP has rewards you can earn every time you install a genuine HP cartridge (something I found out after I purchased my first HP cartridge). The cartridge easily snaps into the printer and is just as easy to remove when the time comes to replace them. I do a lot of printing, 100s of pages per week, and I can say that buying genuine HP ink has saved me money. Another nice feature is that when using this HP genuine ink cartridge, you get a "low ink" warning which gives you about 20 pages worth of warning before you completely run out. This is something I love! I never get caught without ink now! I would highly recommend this product.

As the cost of printer ink continues a shameless and unjustifiable ascent, I look for the best deal in HP ink, and usually this is it. One can roll the dice with much cheaper aftermarket options, but the potential cost is your printer. HP and other companies go to great lengths to punish you for not overpaying for ink! As for this ink, while it doesn't come in a box, no worries, I'm a repeat customer and find it to be original sealed packaging (less the unnecessary box) and by all other measures clearly authentic, brand new ink cartridges. As I print so much, one of these last me a year, good to the last drop!

The HP Cartridge will last for a long time. The only issue is with the use of re-manufactured HP cartridges. The HP Support Software may reject a re-manufactured cartridge forcing owners of the HP Deskjet to buy a brand new cartridge at a significantly higher price. This HP cartridge will work for printing just under 200 pages of text at about a dime a page. If prospective buyers do a lot of printing, the laser printers may be more cost effective in the long run.

HPs ink lasts pretty long in our household, but it matters "from where" did it originate. (This is a HUGE part of the problem with Amazon review system -- are you reviewing the product or the distributor?) In my case, each time we order ink via Amazon, the cartridges last ~2 months on average. Compare that with OfficeMax/Staples purchases of a year or longer. I used to chalk the short life-span up to "living in Arizona", but I was wrong. HP ink -- awesome. Distributed via Amazon -- failing!

hp 61 cartridges are very light, easy to install and they allow the printer to print out good quality, durable black and all colors of ink on the page. They store for about a year after you buy them so if you want to stock up for your office or personal printing needs that's great! (They even come with an expiration date!) HP also packs these well so that it is difficult for the cartridge to become damaged during transit. These ink cartridges are also compact so storing them is easy.

It works for my printer and it usually lasts me a while. This is my second time purchasing this product. It goes in the product fine and the ink prints fine. I don't know if this is waterproof or not because I haven't tried it, but it works on my printer and it's cheaper than getting it at the closest place available to me (which is the CVS 5 blocks away) so I like it. The best part about it is the convenience. I'm not sure if printer ink gets much cheaper than this - this seems like the average price to me. No complaints.
