I bought this for my bird, Conner the Conure. It's big--so be warned. Each oe of the rings is big enough that Conner (about the size of a cockatiel, if you don't know what a conure is) could actually sit inside the ring and perch on them. Of course, because of the way they cascade on each other, he can't do that. He does, however, sometimes like to hang from the rings and he likes to swing the toy from the cage. It's long--it is really almost 20 inches long enough you include the hook to hang it and all, so you don't want to buy this is you have a small cage. However, if you have a play perch outside of the cage, this could be a perfect toy to hang from that play perch. It's colorful and Conner does like to chew on it (he chews on everything, so that's normal) but it's sturdy enough he hasn't done any significant damage to it and we've had it a couple of months now. It's solid, the metal is not galvanized and there are no sharp edges. It appears to be very safe for birds both small and large, nothing to get stuck on or in. I'd recommend it for a bird who likes toys, and it's big enough that an Amazon or Grey would like it, possibly even a cockatoo, and yet, my small Pineapple Green Cheeked Conure loves it too.

I have a new baby Congo Grey...didn't want any toys for him that have metal chains or plastic....this fit the bill! I did replace the top hanger with a strip of leather....Greys are very strong, and clumbsy as babies...He LOVES this toy! After two weeks, he has only dented one of the rings. He swings on it and practices his wing flaps....Great toy! I'll be back for this again!

My baby Blue and Gold is quite destructive and these fit the bill (no pun intended). Theses aren't a one hour toy, in fact she's had these for a few months and they are a regular toy in her cage rotation (I switch out her toys weekly to eliminate boredom). she chews and strips the rings and they've held up quite well! Definitely recommend in any Macaw's rotation. If you find my review helpful, please let me know by using the voting buttons. Thank you!

My grey really enjoys this toy. Though he's managed to tear it apart almost all the way now. (granted it's made of like pressed cardboard) He really prefers easier to destroy toys anyway. He will totally ignore harder stuff like wood and such. So it's def a good one if your bird is like mine. xD

My Congo African Grey absolutely loves this Olympic Rings toy. She works diligently on shredding the rings layer by layer and chewing the wood. This toy is made very well and usually lasts several weeks. I'm here to buy more; very happy that she enjoys every thing about this toy so much! Highly recommend.

Both my African Grey AND my Orange Wing Amazon LOVE this toy !!! I want it on the subscription plan so I can get one automatically every month!!! It is so much fun to watch them tear it apart ! ***UPDATE**IT IS ON SUBSCRIPTION PLAN !! I now have it coming every month so my bird babies have a new one to play/destroy all the time. You should see how excited Zelda (Amazon in pic) got when she saw me take it out of the pkg !! Best toy EVER !!

This has to be my amazon's favourite toy next to a wooden banana one with bells. He loves the doughnuts, and will meticulously shred the layers off like onion peels, and sometimes stick his head through the holes like necklaces(good thing is they're wide enough to not choke him or hang him if he should fall or get struck in). This is the only doughnut style toy he likes as well. It's slightly bigger than him, and I love that it's held together with either rope or leather (it's inconsistent every time) so there's no risk of loose wires that can cut him. He can't wait to start shredding it the moment its in his cage---the photo I've posted is the remains of the last one, and a new one is already on the way for him! Edit: Added a photo of the toy before he shredded it! You can already see him anxiously waiting to chew it up!

This cardboard rope toy has been $10.29 for quite some time, for those with a parrot know it will last a few days at best. Since my Grey enjoyed it I purchased him one quite often. They have now raised the price to over $18 !! Will no longer purchase this !! THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO VALUED CUSTOMERS AND BRINGING DOWN THE PRICE AGAIN!!! HAPPY PARROT 🐦AGAIN❤️

I have a yellow collared mini macaw. The wood is a good size for him to chew. He hasn't started on the rings yet. I would say this is a great value. large size toy for the price. If he continues on this toy and chews the rings, i will purchase again. John's wife.

My parakeets seem to really enjoy this toy. It is definitely pretty large, but I hung it near a perch and they really like climbing all over it and gnawing at the wood. It’s great too for hiding some millet in for them to forage for. They way the wood lays and the weight of it works well to hold small cut sprigs in the middle, giving them both a treat and a little challenging play. Due to it’s size though I would recommend it for somewhat larger cages. I included a picture of my husband hand feeding a few of our birds back when we first got it to give you an idea of scale.
