LOL - idiot proof (that's why I thought had a problem)
First off - Customer Service rocks! I received an email telling me about the receipt of the order almost immediately, then another from one of the owners just wanting to chat a bit - cool. Then I received the screen protectors a couple of days later, and I live in Alaska, so went to install after watching the website video instructions (one downer was that these were for installing on cell phones, but I got the gist). When I installed it I struggled for several minutes trying to get it set perfectly over the Kindle screen and had to keep taking it on and off because I thought it was not installed and also had all these bubbles that wouldn't go away. THEN I discovered that the protector was already sitting perfectly in the correct place. I had been moving the upper protector protector #2 and that was what was giving me the problems. Like I said in the title, idiot proof - but it might take an idiot (like me) a while to figure out that it was already in place. The glare does not appear to be anymore than with out it. I can't even tell it is in place (is it REALLY there? I wonder.....). Off to bed to do some reading so wish me luck!

The Best Customer Service!
A great product -- once installed you do not notice it is there. I very much like the added screen protection it affords. Unfortunately I wasn't careful enough installing one on my first try, and managed to get dust on the screen side -- totally my bad. I was sad. I would not have the "for later" back up. The company sent a replacement -- can't ask for more than that! My recommendations: Follow the directions! Be very careful not to touch the screen side of the protector after you peel back the coating, especially the corners. Do not panic over air bubbles. They really do go away in a day or so. This is not flimsy film -- you cannot scratch through it. As advertised, there is no glare -- I think the type looks even sharper with it than without it! I was impressed with the communications from Grantwood Technology just to insure I would receive my order. They guarantee 100% satisfaction -- I am 1000% satisfied! Rest assured, your order will arrive as promised, and they will listen to any issues you might have. And yes, a screen protector is a smart buy for your cherished Kindle -- absolutely get this one!

Grantwood Tech's Anti-Glare Kindle Screen Protector
Reading some of the reviews made me skeptical at first, but it was the highest rated screen-protector for the Kindle 3, so I took a chance. I wasn't disappointed. The protectors don't really decrease glare any, from what I can tell. The good news is that they also don't increase it. It fits almost perfectly on my Kindle's screen: the only gaps are in the corners. It took me about an hour to apply it to my satisfaction, but this was mostly my fault. I did it in my room with the fan on, so dust kept getting under the protector. It didn't take that long to get it on correctly. Most of that time was spent using clear packing tape to get off all of the dust. I bet it would have taken significantly less time in a steamy bathroom, but I didn't want to waste the water. I don't really mind either way, as the one hour it took to apply will mean my Kindle's screen will be protected for, pretty much, it's entire life. Once I got it on, pushing out all the air bubbles with a credit card was very quick and easy. After that whole ordeal, you can't even TELL there's a screen protector over my Kindle, unless you look at the edges (where the protector doesn't QUITE make it to the plastic casing). I really can't stress this enough. You can't tell there's a screen protector on your kindle unless you trying to look for it and know where to look. I even asked some friends if they could see the screen protector, and they thought I was lying about a protector being on it. It also doesn't decrease readability at all. I'm very glad I bought this protector and now I'm a lot less worried about wiping off marks on my Kindle's screen. It's also great it came with a second protector in case this one gets messed up! I've already showed it off to my friends with Kindles, and I've told them the should get one too. Great product, and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

New anti-glare screens from Grantwood are much better than the previous model
As some other commentators pointed out, this screen protector is easy to apply - especially after watching a video on the manufacturer's site. However, two things made it really unsuitable for me: screen glare (the most important disadvantage) and the fact that the screen does not match the Kindle 3 screen - there are gaps wider then 1mm which for a "premium" product is not too good. Even worse: out of the two screens I received in the 2-pack, one was not rectangular (very tight fit on the bottom of the screen and 1.5smm gaps on the top. So... if the significantly increased glare and precise fit are not too important for you, you'll appreciate the ease of installing the screen. Otherwise you should look elsewhere. Follow-up comment: I have been contacted by the Grantwood Technology and received their new anti-glare screen for Kindle for free - this is a good indication an excellent customer service and the sign that they genuinely care about their products' quality. The new screen is a vast improvement over the previous model. It seems to be just a little bit more difficult to apply (as it is a bit more rigid then the old one) but not by much. The fit is much better and the glare is vastly reduced - making the new screen a really good protector for my Kindle. I did not like the old product but the new protectors are so much better that I can recommend them without hesitation.

Grantwood Technology 2-Pack Premium Anti-Glare Protector for Kindle
This screen protector for the Kindle is great. It is thicker than expected - I expect it to last longer than other products I have seen. Make sure there is NO dust whatsoever on your screen when applying this! ANY speck of dust will create a non-removable bubble. I cannot emphasize this enough. ANY speck of dust will create a bubble and you won't get it out. Take your time, clean the screen very very well and take your time applying the protector. I viewed their video on their website, and while it is not about applying this protector to a Kindle, the procedure is still the same. I have three small bubbles at the very bottom edge after applying this protector. They do not intrude into the viewing area. They are very small and only noticeable when looking for them. I have zero bubbles in the reading area. The protector is about 1mm smaller than the screen in both height and depth. This is good as it will allow easier removal of the protector should you require to do so. Some people have mentioned that the anti-glare does not work. My protector works very well. The only time glare is a problem is if the screen is actually reflecting the sun. Nothing will help if the screen is reflecting the actual sun. At any other angle it works and the screen is easily readable. I am 100% satisfied with this product and recommend it without hesitation. UPDATE 11/11/2013 This protector is as good now as the date I applied it to the Kindle. This has been a great product to use.

I made a good choice.
I realize that some people believe that a screen protector is not needed for the Kindle, especially if it is in a case. After I'd had my Kindle for a couple of weeks, I thought I saw a faint scratch, and I became concerned. I looked at the screen protectors offered at Amazon, read the reviews, and noted that someone at Grantwood Technology actually read, and responded to, the complaints. When this person offered replacement screen protectors and explained that the anti-glare had been improved, I was impressed by the customer service. As stated by several other people, the screen protector was very easy to install. There is a slight gap where the protector is just a little smaller than the actual screen, but this is not significant. I've had my Kindle both inside and outside. Inside I often use a full-spectrum task light. Other times I use a book light. Outside I was in full sun. Regardless of the light source, I had no trouble seeing the screen on my Kindle.

Very good, and very easy to apply
I really liked this product, and I would buy it again. In fact, my daughter owns a Nook, and she uses this screen too. It's extremely easy to use, but you must do two things: 1. REALLY clean off your Kindle screen (something you'll have to do with any product you use), and make sure it's done well. Don't use a tissue or anything that leaves a fiber behind...you'll encase any fibers or dust or anything that's on your Kindle for the duration of this screen if you do. And this thing really LASTS, so you'll see that dust for a long, long time. 2. Make sure your environment is not dusty: don't do this while you're petting the cat, or while somebody in the house is sweeping or sanding or doing anything that might stir up dust or any kind of fiber. As I said in #1, you're going to encase dust in this screensaver if you do. If you're careful when you center it, and you press the screen down very slowly and radiate your pressure from the middle out (or start at the bottom or top and work carefully in one direction), you should have a very nice GLAREPROOF screen...no scratches or other problems will affect you for a nice long time. I have had my screen on for two years...I'm a disabled teacher (my spine was wrecked in a student fight many years ago) and I spend a lot of my retirement reclined and reading. I really use my Kindle, and I love this Grantwood screen saver...it's a great product.

Works well
My setup: Kindle 3G, M-Edge GO! jacket, M-Edge Illuminator book light, Decal Girl World's Edge Winter skin, and Grantwood Technology's anti-glare screen protector. It was a little bit tricky to get it aligned exactly the way I wanted it, and there are a couple of dust particles under the protectors that result in bubbles that won't go away, despite being as meticulous as I possibly could be during installation, but overall, this is a huge improvement over a bare screen when using an M-Edge Illuminator light. The dust particles and their related air bubbles, bother me enough, that I may eventually remove the 1st screen protector, and install the 2nd of the 2 supplied, while maintaining surgical cleanliness, in order to have a perfect installation. You actually don't seen the air bubbles though unless you look closely. When use the M-Edge Illuminator book light, the Decal Girl skin, and the Grantwood screen protector, are both mandatory in my opinion. Otherwise you are going to have glare on the case and the screen both. All in all, my setup works very well for the way I use my Kindle, and I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Anti-klutz installation!
I installed a fair share of screen protectors on various items, but never one to my complete satisfaction; to which I attribute mostly my shortcomings -- not the product. When I ordered this product I expected a thin film akin to the cell phone/mp3 player type. Not at all! I ordered 6 to give myself a chance. First I carefully read the instructions (simple and explicit). Following the instructions exactly, the screen laid down like it was in love with the Kindle. One very small air bubble appeared on the starting edge of the screen that easily pushed out with a fingernail massage. After a week, no further bubbles. That was it! The screen material is much sturdier than those that are applied to cell phones or MP3 players. I haven't yet experienced any glare problems in sunlight noticed by others. It'd be nice to credit this installation to my skill; even at age 82, I'm handy with most things involving finger dexterity. Instead I'm a real "klutz" in this particular area. This product ramped up my ego just a little bit.

Very Satisfied
I was in two minds: #1: the kindle is supposed to have this awesome anti-glare screen, and I don't want to do anything to get in it's way. #2: I am a clumsy, galumphing nodwiddy that wrecks my precious, precious electronic devices. It's bad enough what I've done to my ipod... and I love books even more than music. Whatever to do? I bought a cover, but it has little things inside to hold bits and bobs, and what if they should damage my screen?! I can't have that... so I waded through all the reviews of screen protectors, and found my fears weren't unfounded. Almost every screen protector had bad reviews, and glare was the worst of them. I was sad. Then I came across this one, claiming it would not cause glare. I extended the olive branch of trust and purchased... the price being reasonable, and if it didn't work, I would bring the crushing power of the internets upon them and give them a bad review. Unnecesary. Simply: this product does what it says it will. I put it on, and I see no difference in the screen appearance. There is no glare. You don't know it is there. It fits well - and for someone with two left thumbs, I had a pretty easy time putting it on. My faith in humanity is reinstated. Or at least the humanity selling electronic device accessories on Amazon.
