I use this to help apply an even layer of glue in my wood shop and it's by far the best solution I've found! The glue comes off easily whether you clean it immediately or days later. If you've let the glue dry, it's as easy as soaking it in a bowl of water for 15 minutes and then peeling the glue off. This thing is great!

I used this roller for many of my crafting projects. The cost was superior to many of the crafting web sites. The rubber was soft; however hard enough to work well as a pressure device on many mediums, such as leather, paper and laminate, and thin wire. It is a sturdy construction so I am not worried about it breaking with use. The handle is short enough to be a comfortable size, and not too wide to hold in small hands. There is not a lot of complexity to this item.

Holy Smokes! I have tried just about every conceivable method of spreading wood glue in my shop including everything from my bare fingers to sticks, brushes and special "glue spreaders". These rollers are the ONLY way to go if one has much area to glue at all. Amazingly fast and incredibly even in it's coverage. Super fast clean-up too. WHY did I wait so long to get these? A definite 5-Star in every way.

I wasn't really sure what this was for until I saw someone using it to roll over recently adhered tape on a photo mat. It makes sense to use this to flatten down tape or any surface which you don't want to tear, get lumpy, or scratched in the process. Very nice rubber has a little bit of give to it, and applies pressure evenly. Never thought I would need something like this but now that I have it, I can see I'm going to use it for a lot of things, like flattening surfaces, or films, adhering tape or smoothly applying pressure to any surface when needed.

I run a letterpress business and worked in the printshop - I know brayers and have used 100 brayers and 2 brayers. For the price the rubber on this is top notch and has a great texture for rolling out letterpress and intaglio inks or glue. Sometimes it's hard to clean because it does stain, but the light surface helps you keep from contaminating other colors. Overall, I love it for what I use it for - blending gradients on the printing press, rolling glue, and applying ink to wood cuts.

Small and very efficient. Easy to use and quite useful for putting large vinyl graphic on various surfaces (helps keep bubble to a minimum). Assists in placing even pressure over the graphic to ensure adherence to the surface. The only "con" I found using it was there is some time of reaction or coating that leaves a very minuscule spotting on the surface of vinyl graphics. Don't know if it a reaction between the two types of rubber / vinyl and don't care. Place a piece of wax paper over the vinyl graphic and roll away. NO PROBLEMS or transference of matter from the roller surface or the vinyl graphic. Would recommend this roller to any crafter. Great price, easy to use, easy to store and great for any workshop.

I was pretty skeptical when I bought this and the 6-Inch roller, but WoW, WoW, WoW, it really works wonderfully for rolling any surface or medium onto your cutting mats. I'm talking here in terms of cuttes like your Silhouette Cutter or your Brother Scan N Cut and I'm pretty sure any other cutter. This smoothed out the surface of freezer paper and fabrics alone for me on my mats and I was thrilled at how well even on a used mat it did..

I use this for Gelli Printing. It works great, spreads the paint evenly and smoothly, and is fairly easy to clean. I also have the smaller one, and am buying another in this size.

How about this for a unique use... My wife had surgery to close a wound on her abdomen and the doctor wanted her to roll the wound as it healed. This was ideal. The roller is a soft rubber material that did not aggregate the wound. The handle was at a comfortable angle and long enough for her to reach comfortably. The doctor liked it so much he bought several for his practice. Seems well made and looks like it will last.

I bought the Prozart Deluxe Hard Rubber Brayer Roller at the same time as the Speedball Deluxe 3-Inch Soft Rubber Brayer and had the chance to compare them. The Prozart brayer wouldn't roll properly while the Speedball rolled and inked as expected. I like the soft rubber on the Speedball much better than the hard rubber of the Prozart.
