Excellent Product Better Than Expected

Better than expected. It is made very well. Welds are solid. Everything in great order. More useful than thought it would be. Very heavy duty and useful for even simple jobs. In itself is a heavier truck/handcart, however, very adaptable and worth every penny spent. After hunting for weeks, we are extremely pleased with this product. Thank you Harper Trucks for an excellent product!

Good for moving boxes of books through narrow doorways

I have 3 hand trucks. This one is in the middle in terms of capacity and it has been coming in handy. I mention this to demonstrate that different hand trucks fill different needs. There is no one perfect hand truck, but the main thing is to use hand trucks to protect your back and joints. Thankfully this one is not orange, black or a neon color. The appearance signals a practical intent. Also, this hand truck is in the middle in that it's not something to throw in the car with one hand nor is it ready for moving crates of ball bearings. I've pushed and also pulled this thing loaded with boxes of books through narrow doorways, and no other handtruck does that type of job as well.

Super Sturdy

Super sturdy! Moved a 425lb safe and tons more! Might have liked all 4 tires to be the size of the larger 2. It wanted to get stuck going over bumps because of the small front wheels when in the cart position. We used this item in both positions & moved everything in a 2,900 sq ft house. The move is done, but we are still using it. Large flower pots in the yard are easy to move around.

Excellent Customer Service from Harper Trucks

When this product first arrived, I was disappointed to see that one of the caster wheels was poorly made and would constantly get stuck. This made using the push-cart form completely useless. However, instead of shipping the product back to Amazon I contacted Harper Trucks via email. Within minutes, a customer service representative responded to my email and offered to replace the wheel free of charge. Although it is not stated on Amazon's product description, Harper Trucks has a 1-year warranty on all their hand trucks. Note: Although the product info says "Made in the USA" and the hand truck's frame has a little sticker saying so as well, the caster wheels are made in China. I find the description slightly misleading, but I'm not going to take stars off the rating for this since the company stands by their warranty and offers to fix any issues for their customers.

Move your heavy items with confidence.

This is a heavy duty hand-truck, ( or dolly if you prefer) VERY good build-quality, excellent wheels, ergonomically accurate in its leverage. Pull the 2 pins then insert the handle in the frame for 4-wheel cart usage. Highly recommended.

Good and Tough

This hand truck is just what I was looking for. It handles everything from furniture to appliances, is adjustable, and I especially like the ability to lie it down for boxes. Just what I needed.

Best investment

I did not want a dolly with inflatable ties because they always seem to go flat. They is why I bought this one. I love it. I got it right before buying my first house and managed to move a whole chest freezer with it, because you are able to lay it down and still wheel it around. This thing will still be ticking when I have long since passed. BUY IT!

435 lbs? Bring it on.

First, the conversion from two-wheel handcart to four-wheel dolly was a thirty second snap (some of you competitive folks out there can beat that time easily!). Second, four of us large men unloaded a 435 pound home security safe onto this dolly and moved it thirty yards (navigating two separate 8" vertical steps in the process) without any problems. The dolly rolled along smoothly and took the maneuvers up the steps like a trooper as we shifted the weight back and forth to gain the necessary leverage without resorting to straining any of our rarely used manly muscles. In addition, the safe remained sitting on the dolly for two weeks before delivery to its final destination. During that time, we verified there were no changes to any of the dolly's dimensions by using measurements taken before and after the storage period. No bending or sagging at all. We are extremely pleased with the Harper Truck's performance.

Save your back and time

Good quality and great price, I use around the house. Its not super light, your probably not power lifting this thing over your head (not impossible just making an analogy) or anything, adding to my comment of well made good quality, its also strong. I've used it to carry furniture up my narrow stairs, a broken AC unit out to the detached garage, rolled the old stove out of way for new stove with it, and trolley heavy garbage can full of weeds and dirt from the yard. This thing is my new back saver.

Great Buy

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. I figured it would make a good addition to his shop. We have both used it several times for various things. I used one day to haul a full ice chest from his shop to our house through the yard since it was too heavy for me to carry. Worked like a charm - we love it!
