No plug it has to be hard wired

Worked as expected fit in place just had to cut a little bit into the counter with my dremal not a big deal. Best part was that i could hard wire it. My house is from the 60's so i usually have to update things as i fix the house up so i thought i was gonna need an electrician to put in a outlet not this time. I wired it up myself total install was like 30 min wife loves it

Functional upon arrival

This replaced a 20yrs old $6000 JennAir cooktop with 4 heating elements covered with Schott Ceran glass. This unit also has 4 heating elements covered with Schott Ceran glass. The quality of manufacturing efficiency has obviously improved in the past 20yrs that structure felt very sound without $6000 price tag. Only difference between 20yrs old JennAir and 2018 Frigidaire was that this product does not have an individual hot surface indicator assigned to every heating element but only have one indicator for any/all four heating element.

Great value and ease of use

While it’s not simple to clean it is a wonderful addition to my kitchen and I am glad we ordered it. Fantastic value and performance, I would order again.

Greart Cooktop!

This item works extremely well Much better than my last flat electric cooktop of the same manufacturer. However, it is very difficult to keep clean. It smears very easily. So far, I have found that Windex works best if there is no stubborn spot. If so, then Soft Scrub or Ceramabrite work well. A bit of a chore; but, worth it.

I was a dumb dumb and dropped a magnet on my old one.

Just bought my house and was cleaning up. We have an industrial magnet on the hood. I was going to move it and accidentally put it on wrong. Well, it fell right onto my brand new cooktop. Thanks for having exactly the same model and delivery was extremely fast to save my ignorance!!! Thanks!!!

Our second generation of the same cooktop

This is our second one. The first one worked great. It was about 10 years old. It met its match when something was dropped on it breaking the glass. We had it that way for a long time. There were some good improvements made. Self centering springs on the edges to position the cooktop in the cutout. I was able to remove the ones I had created at the corners to keep it centered. They were stapled in pieces of wood. The biggest improvement is the addition of brackets that install at the right and left sides, centerline. You have to mount the bracket into the counter. It is important to get the sixteenth inch gap at the top of the bracket or the glass wont seat flush with the counter. My counter is 'corean' (sp?) and didn't have enough thickness to give me good distance to the edge. I used a dremmel and removed metal toward the rop edge to let the screw be where it needed to be. Works great.

Great Product

This cook top is great. Easy to clean, in fact, the cook top comes with a cleaner that works great. Very minimal scrubbing if any and I can be a messy cook. This cook top is just what we needed for our kitchen. Would buy again.

this is an impressive cook top

This product is very easy to install and does a great job at cooking. My wife is very happy with this product as I am as well. I had to cut a little on the side of the counter for this thing to fit but it fit perfect after that. We are very impressed with this product and works well.

This is perfect

I went back and forth with this product because of the reviews. This was easy to install, comes with the wires, dropped down on the countertop exactly as my previous glass cooktop did with same dimensions, and works better than the last one. I highly recommend, and I never write reviews, really never.

So Far everything works well

Find it hard to clean even with the cleaner sample that comes with it. Smears easily and burned on materials are extremely hard to remove. Like the way it heats up quickly and works well.
