A few other DIY Jalpa guys had mentioned that they had their engine builders go with these style pushrod rubes as oil returns on their 3.5L engines. I had my machinist go with the regular stock VW tubes, which from the factory are "sealed" from the pressure of the heads being torqued against the seals. Once the engine wears in and things have compressed and moved around, they often tend to leak. Someone recommended these style of tubes and I found the price to be reasonable. A few of my VW buddies said they don't personally like them on their VW cars, but oddly enough, if you are trying to maintain your oldschool Lamborghini Jalpa, these are "the cure" to your leaky issues. I also found that a standard viton seal (not a factory seal) worked perfectly fine for my application. No more messy starts, no more piddling oil on my exhaust and all over the floor. Finally a *mostly* drip free motor.

Well constructed, top-notch seals. Easy to use

Works great on the VW Bug. Easy to install and tighten up.

Very good quality for a great price
