Good stuff!

My Siberian husky loved it! I can't say much else besides that. Hill's Science was recommended to me by the lead vet at one of the top animal hospitals here in Vegas. She ended up leaving the hospital to work for Hills Science, and she had a degree in nutrition. She told me that she wouldn't have gone to work for a place that didn't match up with her standards. This food worked out well. My husky loves it, and the other dogs are a little jealous of her food (they're large marble sized balls). Doesn't smell crazy bad either.

I love this food and so does my puppy (with update: he doesn't love it anymore with a new bag)

I love this food and so does my puppy! The kibbles themselves were a little bigger than I expected, but it also makes it easier to grab a handful and trick my puppy into thinking he is getting treats!! Update: (4/3/17): I ordered my 3rd or 4th bag of this puppy food and now he won't eat the new bag. We've tried putting peanut butter on it, and throwing some peas in it and he'll just eat around the kibble. since I don't know if this is just him being a jerk or the food itself I'm keeping the 5 stars. Just thought I would shar incase anyone else is having this problem with newer bags.

This is an excellent and healthy food for my German Shepard

This is an excellent and healthy food for my German Shepard. Her coat shines, her stool is solid and healthy. It also keeps her teeth quite white and healthy. Her gums are pink and there doesn't appear to be any plaque build up. I highly recommend Hill and so does my vet as well. Also, my doge really likes it.

when going through the breeding stages with my Great Pyrenees twice a year

I have used this dog food for a while now and it has served my adult dogs and puppies needs. I appreciate the prompt delivery through PRIME; when going through the breeding stages with my Great Pyrenees twice a year, it has been a huge timesaver having it delivered to my door. At the height of the feedings for the puppies, I was going through 2 bags a month or more of this kibble. I do wish they could sell this food in larger quantities for those of us who need more than the normal bag. I use this as the base for the puppy gruel (soaking the kibble in hot water), add in Oatmeal and closterium and a few other nutrients and it works great! We fed 10 puppies and 2 adults during the post whelping periods. I recommend this kibble to our clients.

Great Dog Food

I buy this food for my Rottweiler of 9 months. The breeder started him on this formula when he was just a pup and we have kept using it. The vet has also recommended it so we continue feeding it to our dog. As he grows we are using more as he starts eating more so we might be up to two bags each month soon now that he will be coming out of puppy hood.

My Dog thinks it's yummy...

I don't really know how to rate dog food. My dog eats this like I haven't fed him in a week, but he also eats legos and underwear with the same ravenous zeal. He hasn't died from either, and continues to grow and appears to be healthy (per his vet). I use this food because I would feel guilty buying the cheapest stuff I could find. This is a good value and appears to meet the dietary needs of my dog...but maybe he's getting most of his nutrients from plastic toys and BVD's.

My puppy loves this food

I was a little worried when I opened the bag that the kibble was too large for my puppy husky of 12 weeks. The first few times I fed this food to her, she was just swallowing the kibble whole... so watch out for that. After awhile, she got used to the size of the kibble and began to chew it. When we got her she had diarrhea, and still does a little bit, but after feeding her this food for a few weeks her stool has become more solid.

My large breed puppy loves this food

Our vet recommended large breed puppy food for our furry addition because of the mineral composition that differs from other foods. The dog loves it. He'd been on Wellness Puppy, WAG, and Signature dog food, which were all firm round discs. He liked those well, but got really excited when we incorporated this food from Hill's. It is larger and softer than the others he's had. He would always eat this food first before the other food in his bowl. Now that the other is gone, he is solely on this large breed puppy food and I'll keep him on it for the first year.

Dog seems to like it

Female chocolate lab (8 months old, 80lbs) and loves it. Important to note however, that according to my vet all food will give instructions to feed more than is needed. According to her, we cut the recommended amount by 25% (again, should be done with ALL food) and then if your pup is fixed cut that then by 25%. Our pup is obviously large and healthy with this type of feeding regimen.

Best food for my dog

Everyone out there has an opinion on dog food. If you do a search, science diet is considered a "mid-level" brand which to some people, mid-level is still trash because they like feeding their dogs gold plated meat for extra minerals. Truth is, the food that works best for your dog is the best food out there. I have a chocolate lab/weimaraner mix and science diet is the best food that i have found for my dog. When you change foods don't forget to slowly integrate the new food in with the old one. My dog like the larger kibble bits that comes in this bag as opposed to other large breed brands that have small kibble bits you would see in toy breed foods. My dog has seemed to like the chicken more than the lamb and it looks like it easier on her digestive system. The best thing I like about this bag is that it gives her the healthiest stools out of any other brand I have tried. I works for us but its really just trial and error for what works for you
