Great Product
Mounted (3) 20' panels on my sunroom roof heating around 9000 gallons of pool. Plumbed in using 1-1/2" schedule 40 pipe and a 3 way valve, roof mounting was a pain, just because it was a roof, lots of ladders and a bit of time to get them to lay flat ( the trick is to lay them and adjust on a hot day to allow the panels to soften in the sun) So the first good Maryland sun arrived when i fired these up the pool was 63 degrees, two days of 93 degrees and the pool is now sitting at 80 degrees !!! It's not even memorial weekend yet so that's a result on its own. I have read negative reviews about the quality and complaints about the fittings etc, but if you buy quality plumbing to complement your panels and take care in the installation you will not have any problems, i am sure some of the negative reviews are down to poor installation. If you are thinking of buying these panels then dont hesitate, if your not comfortable fitting them on your own, enlist some help, dont struggle and regret it later. Top marks for a good product.

Good product!
It arrived fast and was somewhat easy to install. One of the panels came with a hole but after sending a picture of the damage they sent a replacement really fast. The pool water its noticeably warmer, making it more enjoyable for me and my young kinds. So far I have no complaints.

Excellent product
This is a well built unit. I have an in ground 50,000 gallon pool. I bought two sets (4 panels) and installed them on a roof in less than three hours. I used 1 1/2" pvc fittings and glued the 4 panels together. After plumbing the panels into my pool pump I had no leaks at all. The pool increased in temperature two degrees per day until the desired temperature was achieved. Located in central California, this took place when the temperature was in the low to mid 90's. The pool is warmer with these panels than it was without them. I recommend them highly

Outstanding Value and performance
I Have owned this unit for about a year and am impressed. Had high winds that ripped some of the roofing off the house and left the solar panel dangling off the side. Broken PVC pipe and couplings. Was sure that it would leak when we tested with water, Surprise, no leaks. Reinstalled both panels with twice the number of straps (on the roof) and retested, still no leaks. Still heats the pool water to about 10-15 degrees above the air temperature. Note that water flow rate thru the panels (in series) is about 8 to 15 GPM. If you have an in-ground pool with a variable speed pump [capable of 25 to 40 gpm], I suggest using (install) a bypass valve to reduce the flow rate thru the solar panels which reduces the possibility of over pressurizing the solar panel and PVC pipe/fittings.

Doubter turned beliver!
When I first saw these heaters I had my doubts as to thier thermal absorption rate, well the first set raised my water ( 15 ft round X 48 in. dp.appx 4000 gal) by 8 degrees F ,it was good for mid Ohio area,so I bought a second set and run them in parallel series with a intex 2500 gph. filter pump ,dedicated to just the heat system, with seperate inlet and discharge nozzele w/ 1 1/2 in lines. This 2nd set provided an additional 9 - 10 degrees, my pool can be as high as 98 -100, or I can leave the solar cover off and there is substantial heat loss overnight, pumps only run from 8 am to 8 pm, 2nd pump runs a intex salt system,(Awesome in its self) , Well all I can say is this is a well designed product, easy to work with and if maintained properly ,should last many seasons without fail. They are of some black pvc (?) but small leaks should be easy to field repair through some sort of solvent welding process. Any way I am going to purchase 2 more kits so I can probably enjoy my pool around september with the shorter daylight hours and the heavy duty silver film 8 mm solar cover ,it should work great late into the season, I'm usually pretty skeptical about "reasonably "priced items,But these passed the test, their easy to uncoil from the shipping mode, ( These people pack this stuff like a PRO,Solid and compact,) the box is around 50 lb,s. u s. It is best to unroll the panels together ,and in direct sunlight,SLOWLY,as they heat alittle, then unroll alittle. I think they heat these panels then roll them with a machine, then Bandit all together under tension, and when it cools, well it gets really stiff,But they will spring a bit when unbanded,(Please use sissors to cut bands, knives could knick the panwl surface) I think you would really damage them by forcibly unrolling them cold, I just rigged up a rope over my canopy and slowly pulled them up and 1/2 way over as they hung waiting the sun to heat some more unrolled material, once heated by the sun the panels are quite fleible and HOT! use gloves! Easy to hook up, all parts included to assemble panels, EXCEPT hoses and if you buy multiple sets ,or may you use multiple sets ,you will need additional 1 1/2 in male adaptorsand 1 1/2 in hose or tubing or 2 1/2 in coolant hose,(NAPA has for 15.00 per ft. and get the bigger hose clamps for 2.00 apiece, no since doing a slipshod job from the beggining,These panels work, and I would definitly buy agin and recommend to others, ALSO , this work can involve working at heights, use all appropiate saftey gear. and methods ,or hire a contractor to install ,P S, please read and understand the instructions, principles of fluid dynamics ,and how to use this system ,I am quite sure you also will have a fantastic heater for your pool, DONT forget to build your system to drain in winter ,the freezing could very well cause trapped water to burst the cappilaries in the mat or end manifolds, they sell vacumn relief valves at thier storefront, Have a great summer.

IF YOU LOVE TO SWIM BUY THIS NOW!
OMG, BUY THESE!! We tried everything to heat our above ground 16 x 48 pool in south Florida. When the pool water was at 68 degrees we tried the $99 round solar heater sold on Amazon and it did nothing. My husband even tried to add hot water via a hose attached to our hot water heater. Bless his heart. :) If I didn't get so much joy out of my daily dip we would've gave up but he was determined and ordered two sets of the panels. Once they were roof mounted and few trips to Lowes for water hoses we only needed the pump. We ordered one online but it was way to weak and had to buy a 1 1/2 hp which works perfectly. He got it at Northern. I turn it on every day around 11 a.m. If there's sun, not worth it on cloudy days, the water that first comes out will burn your hands and eventually runs steady warm until I turn it off around 4 pm. It took a few days to reach my ideal temp of 82 degrees. This was a project I realized was somewhat expensive and only worth it if you really love to use your pool and have a very determined spouse or helper. I'm all for girl power and am sorta tough, but honestly, I couldn't have done it by myself. Hope this helped!

Works great, water channels are a little bigger than the last heater, less strain on the pump. We like it a lot!

Awesome, just awesome!
We live in mid Maine and getting the pool up to comfortable Temps isn't easy. I was skeptical that this product would help much but was sorely wrong. To be swiming in the pool in early June is unheard of but to have the pool temp up to 79 degrees on June 4th...WOW. If the sun is out the pool temp can be jumped by 5+ degrees a day, even when the air temp struggles to hit 75! We have a 24ft above ground pool with a 1hp pump and DE filter. Solar panel mounted on Ranch style house roof with South exposure. 1.5in white rigid PVC used to get from filter to panel on roof. Awesome product! May 2015 UPDATE: The solar panel made it through a VERY rough Maine Winter and is still working like a charm. Deep snow, severe cold, high winds, it survived it all, now leaks. Still an awesome product!
