Exceeds my expectations!

I absolutely love this juicer, it is so fast to juice and simple clean up too. I line the pulp container with a plastic produce bag and put my glass directly under the spout so I have two less parts to clean. Using this system, I only have three parts to clean, all are easy to clean and dry. I have very little time in the morning, I can barely make it to work on time, but since clean up is so quick, I have made a juice every morning since I received this juicer. I was impressed at the speed of this juicer and with very little noise. (I get a lot of juice too!) I also like that this juicer does not take up a lot of counter space, it's fairly compact compared to others I have researched. AND the price is extremely reasonable! A friend of mine came over while I was juicing and she was so impressed with this model that she asked me for the ordering information! In the past, she has had 3 different juicers and she said none of them compared to this one! Honestly, I can't think of anything about this juicer that I would change...maybe it would be helpful if they included a juicing recipe book! Bring on the juice

I've been caught by the juicing bug, and I looked into which ones had the best performance. This one has been great, I've already made several gallons of juice from it in only a couple of days. It's relatively simple to dismantle and clean, plus it's dishwasher safe, so you can get it especially clean if you want to. I'm glad we went with the Breville. I can't think of anything about it that I would change. The base is solid, the whole mechanism snaps together tightly with the metal bar. The separation of juice from the pulp during operation is very effecient. Most of the pulp left over is dry, so you know you're getting your money's worth out of the produce you put into it. Some people have complained that centrifugal juicers are bad at leafy greens, but I've done kale, spinach, and parsley, and I'm getting the amount of juice from them as I'd expect.

I looooooove my juicer!

I looooooove my juicer! It has changed my life! I hate to eat vegetables and fruits but I have no problems drinking them. This juicer is SO EASY to use that now I have my daily portion of fruits and veggies with no problems! I have to say that cleaning it it's not my favorite part BUT all the pieces are dishwasher safe. The downside: It does not juice the 'greens' very well, but still works. Also, pineapples, oranges and limes need to be peeled off before juiced. Alfalfa, wheat sprouts, or "grassy" greens won't be juiced at all! Every thing else I tried so far worked beautifully: apples, carrots, beats, cucumbers, zucchini, pears, ginger, blueberry, strawberries, mago, celery, etc...

Great Way to Lose Weight and Get Healthy

After watching Joe Cross' NETFLIX video "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead," where he begins his journey to take control of his health through juicing, we purchased this model Breville. This model has three very good qualities that make it a great juicer and the reason I gave it five stars: 1. Easy to Clean - had an older Cuisinart model that was difficult to disassemble and clean. Because of this, we didn't feel like going through the effort to juice anything after the novelty wore off. This Breville model comes apart easily in 5 components making it super easy to clean with nothing more than warm soapy water. We lay out a drying mat on the counter and let them air dry for the next juicing session, too easy. Of note, it comes with a special brush to clean the wire mesh screen, but I have found that you can also use your sink's sprayer, if you have one, to clean the screen by pushing water back through the screen. 2. Extracts 90% of the fruit/vegetable. Because one of the benefits of juicing is getting nutrients (not just having great tasting thirst quenching juices), you want a juicer that extracts as much of them as possible. The pulp that is left over is very dry, indicating that this model extracts most of the liquid, so it does what it claims. We often use the left over pulp in some of our soup recipes and this adds volume and great taste. We often also use the pulp in a blender with the extracted juice with ice to get 100% of the nutrients, but in a "smoothie" type consistency. 3. High and Low speed functions. By having two speeds available, you can extract the most juice from an assortment/variety of fruits and vegetables. Low setting for softer fruits and vegetables, higher setting for apples, pears, carrots, etc. Now the best part; since juicing just over 30 days ago, I have lost 10.8 pounds and I have not been hungry, cranky, or having cravings of any type; this machine is a great addition to anyone that wants to start introducing more fresh fruits and vegetables into their diet. I hated vegetables and now I have come to love them. My sense of taste, smell, and energy levels have increased beyond measure. Get this machine and you won't be disappointed, it has changed my life and I know it can change yours.

Efficient Juicer

If you are working and you want to add fresh juice into your breakfast menu, look no further ! This one is very fast and efficient, you can juice 10 large carrots, 5 large apples, 5 large oranges, 5 celery sticks and 3 large beet root in 1 minute or less. It takes very little time to juice. Washing the juicer takes 2-4 minutes and preparing the veggies and fruits will take 5 min. I can say in 10-15 Minutes you are done with the juicing process. This process is also sustainable. I have incorporated this into my breakfast routine and It works perfectly considering that I start to work at 8 AM. The Juice tastes amazing, just the way nature intended. I recommend you go ahead and buy this juicer and you will not regret.

Excellent Juicer

I love the Breville line of juicers. I've been juicing & making smoothies for 20 years. While I prefer smoothies (to include all the fiber), when I want a juice, Breville is the best. The motor can handle any item I put into it (I've burned up other juicers with carrots and apples). The 2 speed option is nice to have. Clean up is a breeze- the easiest clean up of any juicer I've owned. I've had other juicers where it took 2 people to get it apart to clean it- this Breville is very easy to take apart. The size of the input tube will surprise you. Many apples can fit whole without having to be cut up. The size makes for faster preparation as more can fit into the input tube at once. A trick I learned is to use a plastic grocery bag in the catcher to make clean up a breeze. I would recommend this juicer.

Juice? We all want juice

I purchased this for my mother and she loved and loves it. I've used it myself and it's easy and simple to use. It's a nice luxury to have. It also looks stylish in the kitchen. I can't really say much more about it - It's just great. My thoughts and criteria for products I review: (Amazon’s Rating Criteria in Parentheses) * 1 Star (I hate it!): Feel it's a waste of money. Will never use it again. Would never recommend. Not safe to use. Either throw away or return it. ** 2 Stars (I don’t like it): Don't like it and wouldn't use it again, but may still have at least 1 positive thing about it. *** 3 Stars (It’s ok): Product has both positives and negatives, and I may or may not continue using it. Someone else may like it more and is potentially still worth purchasing. **** 4 Stars (I like it): Item as described in functionality, purpose, and quality. May have 1 or 2 things I don't care for or would change, but not big issues. Would recommend if asked, but wouldn't say I love it. ***** 5 Stars (I love it!): Practically perfect. Nothing lacking in functionality or quality. Love it and would not only recommend, but would purchase for others and continue to purchase for myself.

No more mental fog!

I have a Ninja and a Nutribullet. I purchased this juicer because I wanted an alternative to the thicker smoothies. I am happy with this product. I have no complaints. I've recommended this juicer to several of my friends. My friends who have purchased the juicer seem to love it too. The juice I make in the morning gives me mental clarity and mental alertness. For some reason my smoothies never accomplish this for me. Also, I find the juice to very energizing. No joke, I have used this juicer almost everyday since I purchased it. The clean up isn't nearly as bad as I expected. Quite honestly, this juicer is NO more messier than my other blenders. Trust me, if you are on the fence, take the plunge!

Great power at a great price

So glad I purchased this. I've been using the Jack Lelane juicer for several months now. I've had this in my cart for a year watching the price go up and down. 2 days ago it finally hit a price point I was willing to buy. This juicer has so much more power. I'm actually ticked off at myself that I didn't just get it months ago as it would have been well worth the extra $30. The old juicer bogged down on everything. I would spend 20 minutes trying to make 2 servings of juice. This juicer starts pulling the veggies in on its own. I barely have to push down. And it juices in one second. It's really got enough power for juicing several times a day. Clean up is similar to the old juicer. There are several components to disassemble. Unlike the old juicer, this one requires no specials tools. It rinses clean easily.

Works better than expected!

I really love this juicer. For the size it has a lot of power. It doesn't take up room on my counter so I can stow it away and pull it out when I need it. The motor is super quick so have your veggies/fruits washed, dried and ready to go! The manual is very thorough and gives helpful information on what speed to juice which fruits and vegetables. The highlight for me is being able to put a WHOLE apple through the opening. I can also put a whole raw beet through (I cut off the stem and tail) and walah! it juices like a charm. They recommend putting a bag on the bin that collects the peels and fiber this way it'll be an even easier cleanup. I recommend washing this as soon as you're done juicing because the fruit/veggie remnants do get sticky fast. I love that it comes with its own cleaning brush. Follow the cleaning instructions and it'll be easy cleanup for you too. I make juice for me, family and friends! Everyone loves it.
