Huge old fashioned femine bedsprad that is very pretty & a great value

This is an old fashioned multi colored bedspread that is oversized draping over the bed almost to the floor on a high boy bed. The colors in this quilt are sophisticated floral "dull" mat multicolor like you would see in a mansion or estate or bed&breakfast. They are not glaring bright flashy colors. The quilt is reversible with the underside of this quilt is a mustard yellow beige with muted green leave & pale faded red roses The quilt is not a thin "light" weight as the quilt is durable & well made almost thick. It really looks home made & homey. I was VERY impressed! GREAT value!!!

I was concerned about the color based on several other reviews but it matches perfectly with the color scheme of my room. This bedspread is heavier weight than I expected which is great for Arizona winters but a little heavy for the summers, but that’s ok because the size is worth it. I was so tired of buying bedspreads that after the first wash they shrink to queen size. Washed this one in cold water and lightly dried in the drier with air dry to finish and I see no shrinkage at all (you will need a larger capacity washer because this is a very large bedspread). If your looking for a bedspread that will cover the sides of an elevated bed, this is it. Great find, I love it!

GORGEOUS QUILTED BEDSPREAD

I kept putting off ordering this quilted bedspread for a long time. It was the colors that were kind of putting me off. I wanted this to be my "Winter Quilted Bedspread" (I have this same brand quilted spread, "Blooming Prairie", and it is absolutely beautiful...it is my spring/summer spread). I decided I would go ahead and order this spread so I could actually see the colors in person ~ soooo glad I did. It is just lovely and it is going to be so warm and inviting looking this fall & winter. FYI ~ I have a king bed but I do not like the spread to come to the floor so I order the Queen Spread and it comes to the bottom of the side rails...my bed is on a frame that has four posts and side rails. Since I really did not want to use it with pulling the spread over the bed pillows, a friend helped me figure out how to make this work (the Quilt in this pattern in the King is too short of either side so I was perfectly delighted they make this pattern in a bedspread). We pulled the spread up to the headboard and the overage of material at the foot, we tucked between the mattress & box springs and still had some fabric hanging free at the foot so that the mattress & box springs do not show, then made a hospital corner and with the little bit of the spread that was still sticking out from under the corner, I neatly stuck it between the mattress & the side rail ~ perfect! Making the bed and keeping the spread neat & tidy is so easy because of the squares. I do not dread making up the bed because it is now just so easy getting the spread neat & tidy! The fabric is very high quality and although I have not washed my Blooming Prairie spread, I expect it to wash very nicely. I use a tape roller to keep dog & cat fur from staying on it...but I also cover the spread with a "dog/cat sheet" at night so the fur does not weave it's way through the fabric. Oh...almost forgot ~ I ordered the throw to go on top of the spread ~ gives it just that one little extra dimension and also helps to keep the spread clean during the day....yep...pets get on the bed. I found the square decorator pillows on Amazon (look for my review of them and you will know where to order them as they do not come with the three piece spread set).

Reversible 118"x120" Quilted King Bedspread

I like this quilted bedspread. Our king is an adjustable bed that is similar to a sleep number bed. This spread fits and hangs nicely. I believe that it can be used year round. It is a thin quilted material. The tag says that is 100% cotton batting. There are thinner bedspreads, but some of those do not hold up well. I believe that we made a good choice in choosing this one. I have included a photo. The reverse side is yellow w/flowers.

THE BEST!!!!

I love this pattern, the colors, the look, the material, the fit, the size...you name it!!!! I have purchased the drapes, valance, shower curtains & throws & absolutely love it. I have washed it time & time again & it keeps coming out great. I have NO COMPLAINTS at all. Have had it in my master bedroom & bath for almost 2 yrs now & still love it. With all the colors, I can change the decorations in the room & it looks like a new room.

WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET And that is a good thing.

Love this new bedspread set. It is actually individual squares of different material pieces and this pleases me. I am not a fan of the printed version of patch-work look. It is more than ample in size and this is a plus when the time comes to launder the spread. Not really too impressedwith the shams and the tie pieces but that would not prevent me from ordering again. I won't know about durability until after the first wash. Happy, very happy with this purchase.

If You Like Brighter Colors This Is Lovely

I really like how this fit my bed and the fact it is cotton. The colors are nice if you like bright colors - they are a little too bright for me but not so much that I want to return it since I can use it in a spare bedroom. It seems to be such good quality that I bought the same one in a paler color pattern and that one I am using in my bedroom and really love it. Both the second one I bought and this one are reversible but I like the other one on both sides because the colors are more muted. This one is gold on the reverse side with a lot of green leaves and pink and rose flowers. For someone who likes gold it is nice. Top side looks just like it is pictured and is very pretty, too. We all have different taste so I gave this five stars though I prefer the more muted pattern one. Both are well made. My bed is high and this bedspread comes almost to the floor which is what I wanted. If, because it is cotton, it shrinks a bit it will still be wide enough and long enough to look great on my bed.

Love the Greenland Home Antique Queen

Love the Greenland Home Antique Queen... Absolutely gorgeous. There are squares machine sewn together on the front side of the bedspread. The back side is a solid piece of printed fabric. The bedspread is machine quilted. The queen fits my queen bed with a 3" memory foam topper on it. One customer review says it shrinks about 4" in the width; I would imagine it would shrink a little in the length, but not as much if a recall my days of sewing. I did not want to go up to a king size because the overhang at the corners would be dragging on the floor significantly. As it is the corners of the queen size do drag a little on the corners. Yes, it can be placed horizontally or vertically. I placed it so I can pull it up to cover the base pillows and put the pillows with the shams on top. I am prepared for shrinkage that may require a bedsskirt. We'll see when I wash it.

That it machine washable.

Love it!!! I have wanted to puchase a bedspread for sometime now, but couldn't decide on the design. I am delighted. The colors and thinness of this spread is exactly what I was looking for. I have not found any dislikes and would definitely recommend this bedspread.
