The original battery in my son's electric car was toast - I left it on the charger at all times and apparently you're not supposed to do that with these batteries. So I found this replacement and from the time I installed it, it was BETTER than the original that came installed in the car even when new! When new, the original battery was good for about 4-5 loops driving within the development we live in (about 500 yards/loop) before not being able to handle uphill and the battery level dropping under 9 V. This one I only did 4 loops today (which is the most thus far) and even after 4 loops it was going strong at 11.6 V (it started at 12.8), I don't know how many more loops it could have done, but certainly way better than the original battery in the car ever was!

I can't tell you how well it actually works as a battery; the VZ NID only uses battery backup for phone service, apparently, which we don't buy. But that doesn't stop the NID from making a loud and annoying beep every fifteen minutes or so when the battery goes bad. So this purchase was purely to make the noise stop, and it did that just fine. If you're tempted to tell me that I could have just disconnected the old battery to make the noise stop, zip it. I read that online too but all it did was change a every-10 minutes beer to an every-15 beep. If batteries has been pricier I might have investigated some way to fool the sensor but at about $13 shipped this was the quickest way to get back to blessed silence.

I got this battery to replace the original one in my indoor FiOS unit. The battery lasted 2 1/2 years before the FiOS unit constantly beeped even with the unplugging/plugging trick. But the battery has a new home in my APC UPS (ES-550) and is still working at least as of today. The UPS has needed a new battery for a few months (its beeping can be silenced) so I decided to put in this battery that the FiOS unit deemed unworthy. This battery is definitely worth the cost but it would be nice for it to last longer in the FIOS unit considering it just sits there not powering anything. Update 7/12/17: I changed my rating to 5 stars. Recently I had to replace the newer battery in my FIOS unit (it lasted only 20 months this time) but the older battery (almost 4 years old now) is still working in my APC just fine. I'm not sure how the FIOS unit goes through batteries so fast but I can't fault the battery for that.

Both batteries have held up very nicely after a few years, the surviving one charges steadily still, and output hasn't dropped a volt. Used in all sorts of robotics projects, never had any issues, except in the DIY battle tank.. Which got sawn almost in half.. One battery didn't make it. But it fought bravely, and leaked acid in the name of glorious electronic honor. Anecdotes aside, they had held up nicely, and only through physical damage with a finish saw blade did they either experience any issues. For infrared cameras, a gas scooter for 5 months, various high-demand robotics projects (R.I.P. TIGRR II), 90V stepped up motorized centrifuges, and even full-body mechanized exosuits, these batteries are juuuuuuuuust about as tough as nails. Which would have stopped the blade... Salt salt salt.

This replaced the battery in a Verizon FIOS battery backup. It appeared to be identical to the original equipment. Very easy to install, you can get the instructions on the web from Verizon. Match your unit to the picture on the Verizon web page and it tells you how to replace the battery. Probably took 10 minutes to swap batteries. Take the old battery to an automotive shop like AutoZone and they will recycle the battery, don't throw it in the garbage, it contains some nasty chemical. Be careful to not touch the positive and negative battery terminals at the same time or you could get a battery discharge through you.

Seen a lot of people stating this battery cannot be used with a power wheel. I have installed two of these batteries on a 6v power wheel. This has given me a 12v potential with 14ah. The two batteries surprisingly fit snug under the hood where the existing battery used to be. I also installed a 30amp fuse inline and transferred the existing plug from the old battery to this one. I am using a 12v motorcycle battery charger to charge the batteries. I removed the connector off the old charger and attached it to the new charger. These batteries work just fine and are safe to use with these power wheels. I see no harm as long as everything is soldered, crimped, and secured. Don't let someone tell you that you must use the manufacturers garbage batteries. For the price of these batteries vs manufacturer, it really wouldn't be an issue to replace again if needed.

I needed a 12 volt rechargeable battery for my All Seasons Deer Feeder that has a solar charger. Another big box retailer had a Wild Game Innovations Battery for $22.00. Bought it, got it home and put a battery tester on it. . . was pulling 11.6 volts. Put it on a charger. . . the highest I could get it to was 12.4. Saw this battery on Amazon with great reviews for $6 less. Ordered it, got it in 2 days. . . straight out of the box it is pulling 13.6 volts. Very happy with the purchase. I should have just gone to Amazon first, lesson learned.

Backup power on my security system restored without any problem. I did have concerns about the difficulty in removing the wires from the old battery. So, I contacted our security system company and was advised that the clips on the wires are very tight on the terminals of the battery which is normal. I was instructed to use pliers around the clips to pull them free and with a little effort it worked. Attaching the new wires to the battery was easy. I knew my original battery was dead because of the message "system low battery" appearing on the control panel of our alarm system. After installing the new battery, it took a few hours for it to charge before this message disappeared. The new battery is the same size of the original one so it fits nicely in the security system terminal. It appears to be well made, substantial in weight and Amazon's packaging for shipment was excellent.. Highly recommend this battery.

YES! Found a kiddo jeep at the end of someone's driveway going out for trash and picked it up.. it didn't have a battery.. this one was way cheaper than the name brand and my husband installed it within a matter of minutes. Our daughter is obsesssed with the jeep and it only cost us the battery price! So glad this was compatible.

Using this battery in child's electric car which runs at about 7-10 amps @12V. It works great. I use Schumacher Model# SEM-1562A to charge it. This battery is inexpensive and has higher capacity vs the original battery. It's gone through many charge cycles and is still working great...The secret to battery longevity is not to let the battery run to zero volts by frequently charging it.
