WORKS WELL - JUST WHAT I WANTED

We have a TV stand that gets a bit warm with all the components. To prevent over heating, I placed small desk fans in each compartment. I had a single outlet remote switch that turned all the fans on, or off. I wanted to be able to control each compartment fan individually. This remote system works out perfectly. With the 5 numbered outlet units, I can now control TV, Cable Box, and DVD Player individually. I can now also turn power on or off to my laptop charger, instead of plugging and unplugging it. This still leaves me with one extra outlet unit for later use. All the outlet units are in the same room, but NOT in direct line of site, and they all work with no problems. You do need to know that the outlet units ARE NOT SMALL. You should look at the product photo to get an idea of the size.

Convenient

I can now now turn off all the house lights that are plugged into these outlets when I am leaving the house or going to sleep or nap. This is a great convenience! Can people live peacefully without this kind of control?

Works geat

This product does exactly what it's supposed to. That it doesn't require line of sight makes it perfect for my application. Only one small improvement I would request is that since I use this to control lights, if the little plastic panel on the remote that surrounds the switches had been made of glow in the dark plastic, that would make it even better (for me).

A really GREAT product—Incredible the places you’ll find that it can be used

I had purchased the three remote plugs from Lowe’s and soon discovered I had a need for another set of three. However, Amazon.com had this set of five (5) for about the same price I paid Lowe’s. What a great decision...I’ve managed to use all five remotes and the range is at least double that of the set of 3. I love this set of 5 Wireless Remote Controlled Outlet Sockets. The only thing better would be to have at least two remotes (so I wouldn’t have to carry the only remote everywhere). I definitely would recommend this 5 remote plugs to anyone.

Works as advertised

Once you commit to memory where you connected the devices and the corresponding number on the controller you're good to go. I'm an early riser and there's no reason to stumble around in the dark because I can turn on the lights from one end of the house to the other. It's oh so much better than "The Clapper".

Helpful product.

It's convenient to have all your on off switches in one room, in one place. Get one foot extension cables because they cover three switches due to their size.

Works like a charm

I just love it. I currently had use for only one of them and it works like a charm. With the others I'm looking forward to using them during Christmas time turning on and off outside lights.

I love this!!! I have now used the for close to 3-4 years now! WORKS AMAZING! My house doesnt have any ceiling lights, so I have alot of wall lamps, floor lamps, and other random lights set up. Its a bit annoying going around turning every one of them on and off. THIS HOWEVER has saved me! all i do is hit a button for whichever light i want on or off, and bammm - its on/off! We purchased another set for christmas time as well to turn the decorative lights on/off around the house easily! I would definitive purchase this again! Have had several friends and family members see what i have, and they went and purchased some as well!

A perfect solution for controlling multiple devices

As other reviewers had stated, this is a reliable product to control multiple lamps and appliances. It would have been nice if ON and OFF was labeled. The remote is sturdy and visible (easy to find).
