This is probably the best claw-style puller I've ever used. It paid for itself on the first use. Fumbling to get the claws lined up and held in place on a typical claw puller is such a pain. This makes it a breeze. The spring pressure on each claw provided by the backing plate on the center piece makes it so easy to get the claws set to the right angle and held in position and centered while you spin the center bolt. It also keeps hold of the pulley after it comes loose, rather than instantly dropping it to the floor like a typical puller does.

Someone was thinking when they made this. Absolutely awesome idea! Have been using "pullers" for years and would swear at them every time until now. No need for the "third hand" or rubber bands, the jaws just stay where you want them to. Haven't had to use the 5 ton yet but the 2 ton works like a charm. Great product!

I tried two other cheaper brands and found they were made like junk, had feet that were just too thick, and were a pain to work with due to no indexing. Returned both. This is a real tool, worth the money, and I think it will last a long time and be much less frustrating to work with. No trying to have 3 hands to hold the legs, fit them to the shaft, crank down the screw. Just a much better design overall.

So nice! This is hands down the best bearing / gear puller I have ever owned or used. You can either use it as a 2 or 3 leg puller, which is great when you have limited access. The legs also stick at certain points, which helps keep everything from flopping around needlessly while trying to work. Just a great design from A-Z.

It's basically a decent standard puller set with some cams on the ends of the arms and plates attached to the top of the puller body to provide the friction. They appear well made and the improved function is awesome. No more needing 3 or 4 hands to set the puller up. You put the arms where you want them and they just stay there...slick!! Instead of buying a junk puller set, buy these and never look back. Nice case as well. Instead of dreading setting up your puller, you'll be looking for new places to use your new tools. Anyway, I like them a lot. They're keepers!!

Works great for pulling off pulleys and gears, first needed this for pulling off a gear on a fuel pump on a freightliner Detroit Diesel engine. I believe Mac Tools makes one and I borrowed a co workers and this looks identical to his.

This puller set is worth every penny! Very well made and will last you a life time. I own many pullers and most of them are good for 4-5 uses and then the shaft bolt pattern wears down so you can no longer use a socket on it or by that point you've lost a couple of bolts that hold the arms on from the tool falling apart multiple times. Not this tool! It's is a joy to use!

Why haven’t I bought these sooner? Much easier to use than the standard 3 jaw pullers where you feel like you need 3 hands to use them. Locks into place and has a nice bite to the foot of the legs.

Best gear pullers I've ever had. As a pro-sumer, I'll be surprised if these don't last me a lifetime.

I use these easily four to five times a month and have never let me down. Like them a lot.
