**UPDATE** Customer service got back to me the same day I emailed them about the faulty product, and told me they'd send me a replacement. They also said not to worry about returning the faulty one, and the new product arrived a couple days later. Outstanding customer service, and despite the first one falling apart after one use, it DID provide a nice way to wash my car. Looking forward to using the replacement, as well. The stitching came apart after a single use. I’ve emailed customer service and will update after I get a response.

I've had really good success with this product. I'm surprised to read some of the issues others have reported. Perhaps my success is due to some cautionary methods I have employed. First, before using it the first time, I washed it (along with other microfiber towels) on gentle cycle with Tide Free and Gentle detergent. Next, I wash my car using the "two bucket method," and therefore, dirt doesn't remain on this glove for long. Finally, after each use, I immediately wash it (again, on gentle cycle with other microfiber towels, using Tide Free and Gentle detergent). It's been used and washed over a dozen times, and I have not had any issue with it falling apart or leaving green strings on my car. In short, buy with confidence, but like many products, please take reasonably good care of it.

This is by far the largest and best wash mitt I have ever used. I own an auto detailing company, and I have used this twice since I received it. The results are amazing! It holds half the bucket of wash water; this means a few less trips to the two bucket method. I absolutely recommend this wash mitt to anyone with a large vehicle like; a pick up truck, SUV or large van, or even just a car for that matter. The surface area you can cover with this thing is incredible! Just be warned, this is called the big Mofo for a reason, since it holds so much soapy water this thing easily ways 8 pounds full of water fresh out of the bucket! My only complaint is I wish it came in more colors than just purple, but I still like it so much I ordered a second one. I will order more when these ware out. Go chemical guys!

I started by buying one of these as a test, then quickly ordered 5 more to wash my car with a no-rinse car wash routine using Optimum Wash and Wax. They work great! A no-rinse routine depends on a good wash product designed for the job, and also a good wash mitt or rag with deep nap that will keep the dirt/grit away from the paint as soon as it's picked up. This mitt does a great job. I've washed it in the machine a few times and it still looks and works great. Edit: I ended up buying even more of these so I could wash two cars in one afternoon, and 2+ years later they are just great. I've used them and washed them many times in the machine and put them through the dryer and somehow they still look new, just as brightly colored as the picture even though I've used them to clean some filthy cars from time to time. They don't lose their little "fingers" or leave behind lint, the cuff is still stretchy and in great shape without loose threads, they still hold lots of water and soap and pick up lots of dirt and whisk it away safely.

I used this wash mitt as directed by a detailing professional. This mitt doesn't leave a single scratch on my brand new vehicle's paint, which was terrifying for me to test on. However, I can verify that are ZERO swirl marks and micro scratches resulting from this product. I highly recommend using a lubricated drying method on your paint to complement the care and protection offered by this wash mitt. I also recommend replacing this wash mitt every 5 washes, but that's just me being overly cautious. Any wash mitt you buy should be washed or replaced as it will build up contaminants that will damage your paint. Wash with liquid, not poweder, since the powder contains crystals that can damage your paint. This wash mitt will be my ONLY choice going forward.

Love this mitt. I've been using it for about a year now and it's held up well. Scratch free wash with plenty of absorbing properties. For my routine I use the two bucket method with CG citrus wash and gloss, this mitt is used for the top and middle of the car while my old store bought fiber mitt is used for the lower dirtier parts of the car. As always, be sure to use a grit gaurd in BOTH buckets, I can't stress that enough! Follow up with the synthetic detailer spray and you have a great wash and lasting shine between waxing, start to finish is like half an hour.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for a family member's new car. Now, as someone that is a self-described car lover, I'm picky with washing cars to avoid scratching and safely remove dirt. These microfiber cloths have exceeded my expectations with what I have found in local stores (and have had to pay more for!). The car has been washed at least 5 times, and he's yet to scratch the paint. Better yet, the mitt goes in the washing machine and hasn't lost any strands as of yet. Keep in mind that this tool is only one part of a solid car-washing system, so other techniques and products contribute to this scratch-free process.

I wash my top portion of my car with this mitt using two bucket method. This mitt has not scratched my car at all and washed it with this mitt like 10 times now. I would recommend you wash this mitt with microfiber wash only. I use a smaller mitt for the sides of my car and use another mitt for the front of the car where all the bugs collect at. It does indeed suck up like half the bucket though so you might want to get this mitt soaked with the hose before dipping it.

Very high quality. I've had a few very similar mits over the years. Couple from WalMart. But this one seems to be the nicest. All the microfiber braids seem softer and more plush than others I've used. Also, it has a cloth interior inside the mit. Some have a plastic bag on the inside, which I never understood. Do you really think I'm going to wash the entire car without getting a drop of water on my hands??? Regardless, this one is great. If I had to make one complaint, it would be about the wrist elastic area. I'd like to see that a little tighter and a step up in overall quality. Just so it helps stay on your hand a bit better. But honestly, I'm just nitpicking. It really doesn't bother me. 5 stars.

At first when I saw it, I thought "that's it?". I was expecting it to be quite a bit bigger. Why? Because the listing says it is 12" x 8" and a cheap store brand one at my local shop that I could barely get on said 8" x 7" so I thought I had a good estimate for how big it would be. Visually, it seemed about the same size. I didn't think I'd get it on my big hands (I wear XL for most gloves and half of them are too small). And it was tight getting it on, but once on it was fine. I gave the car a wash yesterday and it worked just fine. I've previously used a natural wool mitt that was quite expensive and I prefer this one, no question.
