Awesome product, Just as good as Sonax.
I am normally a Sonax guy but you cannot beat the price of CG Diablo Gel. It works very well and lasts much longer than Sonax as you are able to dilute 3:1. While I still think Sonax works a tad better, CG is more bang for your buck and safe on the wheels. I have a 2016 Honda Accord Sport and it works great on the painted wheels.

Works great makes many bottles from this concentrate
Love this wheel cleaner. Best part is that it's a concentrate and I can make probably 5-7 bottles of this cleaner for a fraction of the price of buying competitor cleaner. It gets off all the brake dust off my rims and heavy brake dust with some light brushing. Overall great project and good smell too!

Great maintenance cleaner
This is a great every day wheel cleaner. All my cars have been maintained and get cleaned at least twice a month, so there wasn’t a heavy build up on the wheels. I have a Mercedes S63 and the brake dust is always excessive. This works great for my purposes. For heavy duty cleaning Acid cleaner would work better. This is a great maintenance product!!

Once the weather is better, I will do all the wheels and update ...
I washed my 94 Toyota MR2 yesterday and noticed that my wheels need some attention. I tried scrubbing the brown baked brake dust with little success. I was seriously scrubbing with sweat beading down my face! The frustration left me googling for a solution and I found Sonax and Diablo to be a safe choice for cleaning wheels. I chose Diablo Gel Wheel due to price and its option to dilute to your application. It has a "Big Red" chewing gum smell which is okay with me. I've diluted the solution to a 3:1 ratio in a 32oz chemical resistant bottle, shook it up for about a minute, applied it on a test section of the wheel, agitate it with a nylon brush, and waited 5mings for the solution to do its work. I have a pressure washer that I could use to wash the wheel but this was only a test section that I am doing. I rinsed the test section off with a garden hose and the results were very noticeable! I hardly write reviews but I thought I should share my positive results so far. Once the weather is better, I will do all the wheels and update with more pictures.

Safe and effective wheel cleaner.
This is a safe but effective wheel cleaner. Diablo safely cleans your wheels. It does not contain strong acids that could damage delicate parts and surfaces. There are stronger wheel cleaners out there but those can do damage to the delicate parts, like emblems, if you forget to wash off any over-spray. The Diablo wheel cleaner is safe enough to use on your wheels. It will not damage exterior trims. This spray will not cause the adhesives on your trim to weaken. Most plastic trim on the exterior of your car are attached with adhesives. This is the reason why you should not use strong chemicals. The clear coat on the paint will keep the finish protected from harsh chemicals but the adhesives and the rubber seals on the exterior of the car are delicate items. The rubber door seals are more delicate than tire rubber. Diablo should be diluted. Use one of the Chemical Guys dilution bottle for this purpose. The pump in the spray head is resistant to chemicals. That is what you want to use with these cleaners. A good quality spray bottle helps make your cleaning experience more pleasant. You will pull that spray trigger many times. It helps to have a properly designed product. The Diablo is somewhat thick. A spray head that has a long trigger will help you. Dilute the cleaner with soft water. RO or deionized water works best. Spray liberally on your wheels. Give the product time to work and then scrub the wheels. I know, somebody probably sold you a product in the past that claimed you do not have to scrub and you were disappointed. It is hard for any cleaner to remove dirt and grime without you physically scrubbing the wheels. Diablo is a good cleaner but you will need to scrub that grime off. That's just the way it is. Diablo makes the job a little easier because any dirt that you scrub away will not stick back to the wheels as long as you do not let the product dry. It basically floats the particles away from the wheel surface for a short time. Long enough for you to hose it off. Do you really need a product that was designed to clean wheels? Can you use the same car shampoo that you used to clean the painted surfaces of the car? I think so. In my opinion, you can get away with that. Use the same car shampoo for your wheels. It's your physical effort that pulls the dirt off of the wheels. Diablo is probably stronger than your PH neutral car shampoo but you can compensate with a little more physical effort. This is another good product from the detailing geeks. It can be economical. It is very safe, for your wheels and for you. It will help you clean your wheels without causing potential problems with your trim. I highly recommend this product if you feel the need to use a wheel cleaner instead of using your car shampoo.

Read this review. Do yourself a favor and learn.
Make sure you know what your doing. Dont blame others for how you dont know how to use this product. Blame yourself. First use this with dry wheels. Spray evenly on all 4 of your wheels. Dry this off your wheels with a crappy microfiber cloth after you sprayed all 4 wheels. If you want to use abrasive brushes to clean hard to get off gunk... Be careful not to scratch your wheels. There. Do not wet it off or wet wheels then use product with wet whels. If you want to thank me, scream out loud and I'll hear it.

It smells good (I've heard the opposite previously
Dilute it as suggested. It smells good (I've heard the opposite previously, perhaps they've changed the formula). Works very well on wheels, just spray the diluted mix on, give it a few minutes to soak in and then clean wheels as normal. If the wheels are really gummed u pwith break dust and debris, you'll still have to get in there and wipe them out by hand.

Very best all around wheel cleaner out there
Absolutely amazing product. This stuff is hands down the best wheel/brakes/suspension cleaner out there that is 100% safe for all finishes and waxes/sealants. I have satin black rims with white accents and shiny drilled slotted rotors with red powder coated calipers, i spray this stuff on all of it, do a little gentle scrubbing with my wheel gerbils and rinse off to a perfectly clean and streak free wheel and brakes. This stuff needs to be diluted ive read reviews of people just using out the bottle lol read the directions guys.

Great cleaner nice shine.
Great shine cleans well. The smell is great also. The small bottle goes a long way as it’s concentrated. Just be sure to add water to bottle first then product as it will foam up and then you waste product.

It's a soap- not a magic wheel cleaner
You can't really compare this stuff to one of those wheel cleaners that turns purple and dissolves brake dust. This is a soap that is aggressive enough for use on the wheels and should be used as a maintenance item- not for cleaning caked on brake dust. I use it diluted 5:1 with a flagged tip brush for regular maintenance washes- it gets of that surface layer of dust without melting finishes on delicate items like center caps as I have found heavy wheel cleaners to do. On very dirty cars, such as one that was parked under a tree and never washed, I even add a little Diablo to the foam gun as a booster for the normal car soap. One bottle lasts a really long time as you don't need much. Adding it to a bucket like they do in the chemical guys videos seems like a waste to me- just rinse your tools with a hose between wheels.
