This is my second Akro-Mills cabinet. The first holds many stainless steel bolts, screws, washers and nuts. This second one is for fasteners, i.e. essentially wood screws and lag bolts of various sizes. So far ( the first purchased over a year ago) all is well. I was surprised the cabinet held the weight so well. Now I have both cabinets resting atop a shelf to support the bottom; and, screws to hold the tops of the cabinets against the wall. The first unit was simply anchored to a wall with 5 screws. It held up well considering the weight of up to 300 bolts ranging from .25 x 3" stainless steel carriage bolts to .25 x 2" stainless steel bolts - plus their associated washers and nuts. The cabinet did bow a very little in the middle from the weight. However, all drawers opened and closed without issue. Now that the bottom is supported by a shelf there are no sagging issues at all, naturally.

Great drawers for my small parts. I ordered 4 of them and filled almost all of them up. I installed them on the wall just above my work bench. They work perfectly.

If the thought of having different sized rubber bands, binder clips and paper clips all jumbled together distresses you, keep reading. I cannot stand when my office supplies are thrown all together among a 3 or 4 drawer storage bin-I've really tried to love them but I just can't. I've done the pinterest thing and spray painted them a cute color but alas, I just can't get over the lack of organization. How can I live peacefully when I know if I reach for a small rubberband, there will be a drawer overflowing with large, medium, small, extra small, the list goes on. I've tried the acrylic makeup organizers, but the drawers were too small- how will I fit all of my binder clips in there? Plastic jewelry organizers? Disappointed in the size. Craft storage bins? Too big. I have become the goldilocks of the painful task of organizing my office supplies. And then my world changed. I bought this beautiful drawer organizer and I was able to organize all of my office supplies in perfectly sized drawers-not too big and not too small-just right. I can look over on my bookcase and know that when I reach for a small paperclip I will not be attacked with large ones. My post it notes are no longer haphazardly thrown in with pencils and highlighters- yes, those too have their own home in this storage box from heaven. So if you are a disgruntled organizer that is addicted to all things office supplies but can't seem to find a good way to organize all of it-buy this and give yourself a good night's sleep.

I'm using this to organize my Lego collection. The boxes are a great size for most of the different types of blocks. There are a few large dividers and a few small dividers attached on the back. The large dividers were handy for separating block types that were smaller or that I didn't have as many of. The small dividers didn't work at all though. They were too small to use as secondary dividers when the large dividers were already in use, and there was no way to use them in combo instead of one large divider. I guess the company just makes the same black case with the same dividers regardless of which drawer type you get, which is inconvenient but not a deal breaker for me. I took the advice of another review and cut some thick posterboard down to size and those work as a perfect and very inexpensive divider.

I am a school-based speech therapist and ever since I've started my career, I've struggled with the organization of my materials. Things always kind of ended up in a messy pile. A lot of my materials consist of smaller products such as card decks, making the problem even worse. This year, I finally seem to have found the solution: these hardware cabinets by Akro-Mils! I currently own two different sizes: 1. 24 Drawer Size (each drawer measuring 4-3/8-Inch x 2-Inch x 5-1/4-Inch) 2. 64 Drawer Size (each drawer measuring 2-1/8-inch by 1-1/2-inch by 5-1/4-inch drawers) These cabinets are an absolute life saver! Made of sturdy plastic, they hold up to daily use. Each drawer also has a slot to insert dividers, so you can create even more space. I am currently using the larger cabinet for my articulation decks (the Webber cards fit perfectly), as well as other card decks I own. The smaller cabinet houses some office supplies and other small materials. Bonus: These cabinets have holes in the back so that they can be hung on a wall if you lack counter space! You can also stack them. These are definitely worth the investment - I'm sure I'll be using these drawers for the remainder of my teaching career!

Love these bins. I have quite the Lego collection and these are perfect! The bins on the left are a different brand butI love the ones one the right just as much, if not more!

I wanted a larger drawered cabinet in my sewing room for my buttons. I had a smaller old one of the same brand. I like the older one better. The drawers on the new one have a tendency to fall out if I'm not careful how far I pull them out. The older one is a more ridgid plastic and therefore works better.

Needed to organize some of my electronic stuff, and this fits 90% of my needs. I did not show it in the pictures, but the HackRF just barely does NOT fit due to the SMA connectors. My only real complaint is the way they mold the back... they mold the dividers into a back piece you "cut" out, which isn't a big deal... but regardless of which kit you purchase, it includes both large and small dividers. Even if you get a kit with only small drawers, they include both large and small dividers. (as opposed to just giving you more small dividers and 0 large)

This drawer unit is PERFECT for storing Legos. Each drawer is 16 studs long by 12 studs wide, leaving room for a divider down the middle. The drawers are deep enough to hold plenty of pieces. Drawers are prevented from pulling all the way out by little tabs above each drawer in the black frame. Each drawer can have a divider down the middle of its length, which you can easily make from cardboard or cereal boxes instead of buying. For the ultimate in Lego storage, combine this 24 drawer unit with the 64 drawer unit for small parts: Akro-Mils 10164 64 Drawer Plastic Parts Storage Hardware and Craft Cabinet, 20-Inch by 16-Inch by 6-1/2-Inch, Black

Worked perfectly to organize the space I needed it for. Light weight plastic drawers and cabinet that does what is needed. The only con I could see is the stop or catch to keep drawer from coming all the way out is not very restricting. This is fine for me as often I need to pull the drawer out to get what I need. Stands on it's own well and plenty if storage for its size. Clear drawer front perfect for me to see what I put in them since I will not remember later. Looks like a partition could be added to each drawer if needed to separate items more. Another positive is it takes up only the amount of space it leaves for storage meaning the cabinet is not bulky or with any outcroppings to take up more space so it fit very well in the dimensions given by manufacturer. Very happy with it and the price and looking for other spaces I could organize with another cabinet.
