Filing claims are simple.
My dryer recently stopped working and I remembered purchasing the SquareTrade protection plan when I bought my dryer at Amazon 3 1/2 years ago. Filing my claim online was very easy. All I needed was my dryer’s purchase receipt (which I found in My Orders on Amazon) and the model & serial numbers. After completing the online form and uploading the receipt, I was given a number to call so I could speak with a warranty representative. The rep confirmed my information, explained there was no deductible due from me and said I would be contacted by a service technician to set up an appointment to come to my home to repair my dryer. She said that I should receive a call from the tech within 4 days. Fortunately, I was contacted by the service tech 45 minutes after speaking with the SquareTrade rep. The service tech is scheduled to be here tomorrow morning. The whole process took less than 24 hours. Their customer service has been EXCELLENT!! I will definitely purchase SquareTrade protection plans when available on my purchases.
