Used the black Snazaroo face paint to paint on a skeleton face for Halloween. PROS - The paint is solid, just add water and use a brush to apply as thin or thick as you like. -I could probably paint my face like this 1000 before I would run out of the 18ml. -- but if not I will definitely purchase again!! -Cheap, got to my home quickly, and works perfectly. -It lasted all night but washes off with water. I ordered this the Saturday before Halloween weekend on Saturday, October 22 and received the product on Wednesday, October 26. Please rate this review as HELPFUL if it assisted you in making a decision.

I literally painted half of my body for a genderbent Hades and I still have half a cake left. Be careful though- you have to set it since it's water soluble. Dust it with some translucent powder (baby powder works if you don't want to buy something high end) and spray it with hairspray, then repeat. It stays better that way. I applied with a wet foundation brush and only needed one coat for opaque, even coverage. I used the light grey as a base coat and contoured with the dark grey.

A single paint cup/thing has lasted me two years (I painted my face at least 1-3 times a month) It is the paragon of all face paint -- ideal, perfect. Snazaroo has focused on making good, flexible paint with ideal non toxic ingredients. The ingredients are even better now than they were two years ago. The non toxic ingredients are so essential and important for someone who paints their face frequently. Me and my bandmates use and love Snazaroo, it is perfect for extreme black metal corpsepaint.

Wow, this is a definite must for all HS troll cosplayers. I've used it for Terezi on multiple occasions (used on face, neck, arms, and hands) and it has barely put a dent in my supply. It stays on well and I barely have to do touch-ups.I couldn't have asked for anything better. :]

So, as with a lot of people here, I purchased this for Homestuck cosplays ^.^ I've been using it since my first troll cosplay and I absolutely adore it. It goes on well, and if set correctly, stays on fairly well too. Easy to remove and I've found it's quite easy to add makeup over it (eyeshadows, liner, contouring etc.) and one container does go a long way. If sealed well, it'll mostly hold up to sweating and such, though reapplications are needed from time to time. It's a great product and i'm certainly going to keep using snazaroo as long as I'm cosplaying ^.^

This is my favorite Face paint when it comes to cosplaying mina Ashido. It’s a lighter pink than anything else out there! It also applies easily and it’s easy to take off. It doesn’t stain my skin and is overall the perfect fit for what I needed. If you’re a cosplayer looking to cosplay Any light pink character I totally recommend this paint!

I bought red for the first time (I've been using multiple other colors for years, as I've cosplayed Homestuck and Steam Powered Giraffe each for half a decade or more) and couldn't be happier! I needed it for my hands for Alastor from Hazbin Hotel, and sealing with hairspray and then baby powder meant it didn't transfer at all except right in the beginning- I did get a slight streak on my jeans, but they were skinny jeans so I had to wiggle them on. That was my fault for not getting dressed first! As you can see, I had no problems touching my friend's white sweater or makeup, holding her hand, or touching the white She-Ra suits. Absolutely no transfer! While I'm here, the paints have all been the same level of security when sealed with an alcohol based spray (hairspray is cheap and easy!) and a translucent/baby powder. I got VERY faint transfer from the grey, only because my jacket was velvet and it rubbed my chin, but it can easily be buffed out. Application is super easy once you get a handle on it. Lighter colors can be a little thinner. I use a small, fairly dense beauty blender- not one of those cheaper wedges, they hold more water and make the application thinner and blotchy- and I run a tiny bit of water on the palette itself so the sponge doesnt soak in too much. I don't do multiple separate layers, I just kind of dab it over anywhere that seems thinner until it's even! For my hands, I literally just got the palette wet and finger painted until it was even. I do white over the grey to highlight under my eyes/above my brows/my nose/my chin and a grey eyeshadow to contour. Oil based makeup wipes are best for removal, paired with soap and water. It doesn't take too long and if you spend some time on it even the red doesn't noticeably stain, and I was free to change directly into Catra from She-Ra that same day with no stains! The paint on my hands and face lasted a good 6 hours running around KatsuCon, eating, hugging people, etc without needing any touch ups, and its lasted ~10 hour days in other costumes before. I hope this (really long) review was helpful!!

I have been a big fan of Snazaroo for years now! I plan to cosplay one of my D&D characters and I needed a nice deep purple. Of course, Snazaroo has me covered! I applied two layers of the product to my hand using a flat foundation brush, letting each layer dry in between. Please take note that this is a water activated paint, which means you need to add water to it to use it! Not a lot, just a damp brush or sponge will do! This is not a cream, but a hard palette of paint. It didn’t stain my brush or my skin, and a little goes a long way! I will always recommend Snazaroo to anyone who cosplays for cons, or for fun! Just remember to seal with baby powder or corn starch, as this face paint does easily come off with rubbing.

I bought this for my daughter who is into all the Cosplay stuff especially the HOME STRUCK characters. This worked great for her costume and such for her to attend ACON

Took a little effort figuring out the best way to spread it. Wetting it slightly and using a nonporous sponge makes all the difference. Once wet, it glides on and has an even cover. It's gentle on the skin and doesn't crack. Smudging is an issue even with a sealer, so be aware. I would not suggest on hands because of this. On the face is fine though. Also comes off without issue with standard face wash. Takes a few rinses to get it completely off. Also it WILL stain, so be careful around fabrics. Overall, I definitely suggest this.
