Very easy to make

I just made 2 flower hair clips with my 5.5 years old girl. They are very easy to make. My girl made one all by herself. She was very proud of herself and is wearing it back to school today. The foam flowers are already pre-made and colored. All you need to do is decorate them with markers, glitter gel, and rhinestones/crystals, then attach them to hair clips/headbands/pony tail holders, and that's it. Here are some tips: - When you add glitter gel on area colored by markers, the gel will absorb and enhance the color. - Don't over decorate it. My girl tried to color the whole flower with markers, which was a bit too much. - Remember to decorate hair clips as well.

Great Creativity Craft for Girls

Bought this for a 6 yr old who just loves hairbands and it was just the right level for her to do on her own. She is still young enough to want to wear the headbands with fun stuff like bows and feathers on them, and old enough to be able to complete the crafts on her own. Plus,she gets to wear her work to show off her creativity. She was delighted. Great fun for young girls, even though the package says for ages 5 to 95! Cute!

Our 5 yr. old granddaughter will love this for Christmas. She & her young friends will have hours of joy putting this fun project to the test. It came in great condition even though the offer had said it was "used". It looks like it was never opened. It is a terrific Amazon Warehouse Deal and the first item I've ever purchased this way.

Hip Headbands

My 5 yr old got this for Christmas this year, and she loved it! We already made 2 headbands. The quality is good. I was happy with the headbands, the accessories, and the method to put them on. They provided glue, but I chose to use hot glue to give it a more solid attachment. However, I do think the accessories provided could have worked fun, without additional craft supplies needed.

Must Have for Little Girl Divas

Purchased this for my grand daughter, age 4 going on 15. I sent the box home with her to create her own headbands as we did not have time before she had to go home to make one. She has long brown hair and the headbands are the right size for her head. Her father is a commercial artist. I suggested that she ask "Daddy'" to assist her as she "did not know how to do it" and she wanted to make one right then. When she got home, she immediately commissioned "Daddy" to help her design two headbands for her (to her specifications of course!). The two of them spent over an hour making headbands. This kit is gives parents and grandparents the vehicle/ opportunity to spend quality time doing something little girls love. My grand daughter felt special because "her daddy" spent time focused on just her while making a useful and unique hair adornment. The supplies are not "all that" or that elegant or high-end quality wise. But, for the price, kids and adults can take the risk to create something together without a large financial risk. I could not recommend this project more. Little girl "divas" will love it.

girls love it

I've bought these for two girls. They absolutely loved making their own hairbands. Their moms liked that they would actually keep the hairband in all day, even at school, and not lose it. I guess when you make something you love you keep better track of it.

Fun activity

My 9 yr old granddaughter loved this and the results were good enough that her mom claimed one hair ornament to wear herself. I did two of the 10 flowers and enjoyed it. We found that artist's quality colored pencils( I had on hand) were a great addition (but not necessary). We dipped the pencils in water and they glided great colors on the flowers. The kit offered several nice design suggestions. It only occupied my granddaughter for an hour or two but I thought it well worth it as it provided a usable product that she was proud to show off. I bought a second kit for other granddaughters.

Fantastic buy

I cannot believe the quality, and amount of pieces you get in this inexpensive kit. It is a huge it for my girls ranging from 4-12. And with the amount of stuff that comes in it, they all were able to make several headbands a piece. I will buy another kit without hesitation again, when we need to make more. It also is a great way for the kids to use the creativity, and for parents and kids to hang out together and create headbands and memories. I should note, we didn't attempt to use the included glue. We instead used our hot glue gun, just in case the included glue wasn't strong enough. It maybe just fine though. I just can't comment on it. With the addition of the hot glue gun, a parent needs to supervise though.

Fun project to make "fabulous flowers"

I bought these for a 5 year old little girl and she loved creating the clips, headbands and elastic pony tail holders! I enjoyed helping her also make some, also. It isn't messy and I especially liked the markers that really highlighted the flowers. Of course, she loved applying the small crystal. rhinestones & glitter gel accents. The assortment of colors was nice too! Fun project!

It's a fun & creative toy for girls!

My 10 year old daughter did everything on her own while my 8 year old daughter needed some help in putting the ribbon on to the headband using the glue. But they both had lots of fun making their own original headbands. It is $20 (or cheaper if you get it on Amazon) and it comes with 10 different color headbands. It's a good quality headbands. So if you're having a girl's b-day party, this would definitely be a great activity to do at a reasonable price. Accessories that come with it are colorful, pretty, and unique! Ribbons come in so many different colors, width, and designs. Feathers and rhinestones are beautiful accessories, and they definitely make each hairband look very unique. Glue that came with it worked just fine. I like the sparkling butterfly and fabric flower accessories because they have elastic band attached to it. So to put those accessories up on the hairband, all you have to do is put the headband through that elastic hole. This toy gives kids a chance to be creative and show their individuality. Overall, I think it's a great toy for girls around 6~12 years old.
