Until I can purchase an Alarm that dumps me out of bed with a cup of coffee in my hand and straight into the shower I will give this Alarm 5 stars because it has dual beeping alarms and have drastically improved my odds of waking up shortly after the alarms sound off. I am a very heavy sleeper so this is my secondary Alarm, the beeping is just enough to penetrate my sleep and it has definitely helped and was worth the purchase. Set up was extremely easy and only took a few minutes. My favorite features are the brightness of the screen & ceiling displays and that I can use the programmable option of week days only. I do believe this Alarm would wake most "normal" heavy sleepers. If there was a Electrohome EEAC601- V2 with even more pitch changing and a half again as loud I would most certainly be adding it to my armory of morning alarms as a precautionary backup.

I gave this product to a non profit women's shelter. They like the alarm clock feature and the radio especially but they also like the projection feature of the time so all the women could see the time. I think the price is good considering the many features. I recommend this product. John

This alarm clock does so much more, automatically sets date and time. Features 2 alarms oneyou may wake to am/fm, set the other for the buzer. For insomniaks, it has a sleep feature, you can set it for the radio to lulyou to sleep. 4 different lengths of time, from 15 minutes to 1 hour. It also has aremode red led red light that shines the time up on theoverheador across the room, witha focus dial for clear viewing across the room. It emits no distacting beam, or other light interference. You can adjust the main clock from fullbright to a subtle glow, or entirely off. Features that might cost you Couple hundred dollars,. Excellent purchase, i would highly recommend this to anyone wanting, value, reliability, feature loaded alarm clock.

After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this model. So glad I did. My most important feature was the battery backup. We’ve had clocks in the past that have failed in this area, but this clock passed with flying colors. Unplug it, plug it back in, still set. Other features include the ability to set it for waking up at the same time every weekday. So you wake every day at the same time? Once it’s set up, you can forget it. Have you ever forgotten to push a button to set your alarm the night before? That won’t happen with this clock. The radio works well on FM. We get much better reception than our past clocks. The instructions are fairly easy to read and it only took about 15 minutes for me to set the date and time and alarms. I wasn’t interested in having the time displayed on the ceiling, but after having it, I don’t think I’ll ever want to live without it. Overall, this is as near to a perfect alarm clock as you can get for the price. I highly recommend it and can honestly say this is the best alarm clock I’ve ever owned. It even automatically set itself for the recent time change and kept us from being late for church. If you’re a careful consumer and do your research, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this clock.

THE MAGNASONIC PROJECTION RADIO ALARM CLOCK HAS UNDERGONE QUITE A METAMORPHASIS. THE FUNCTIONS ARE EASIER TO UNDERSTAND AND THE BUTTONS ARE RELOCATED TO MAKE USING IT SIMPLER.

We were in need of a new alarm clock. Our current alarm had been around for years and was starting to act up. Things we required in a new alarm: 1) Two alarms - check 2) Multiple alarm modes - check 3) Time projection - check 4) Buzzer or Music alarm mode 5) Auto time set 6) Auto DST update (our old alarm had this, but when they changed when DST occurred, the clock screwed this up twice every year) So this seemed to meet our needs so we bought it. To date we have been happy with the clock. We had a couple issues getting the alarm to work properly, set for 1-5 and it went off on Saturday. However after resetting everything this hasn't been an issue. The only thing we don't love about this alarm is that even on the lowest setting, the face is still bright. But since you can turn off the display and use the projected time on the wall we have learned to deal with it. The only issue there is if you wonder if the alarm is on, you need to turn the display back up to see the icons. Very simple just push the big button on the top. Overall we are very happy with this alarm and expect it will serve us well for years to come.

So far I've purchase two of these clocks with a gap of about 2 years between the first and the second. The first clock is still going strong with continual usage of the radio for about 40 hours a week. The clock was also subjected to one of the dustiest and moldiest apartments I've ever been in. Needless to say, it's built very well. I purchased a second one very recently to replace my old Sharp dual-alarm nightstand clock that lasted a disappointingly short amount of time before the alarm slider failed. The low-brightness setting is nice because you don't get blinded by the display when you wake up in the middle of the night. The dual alarm feature is also very nice when you've got 2 people on different schedules. I'm also a fan of the lack of slider buttons and normal push buttons instead (those slider alarm buttons have failed me numerous times in the past). My favorite feature by far is the laser time display. For years I could never figure out why anyone would want that gimmicky feature until I started using the clock in my bedroom. I have a tall bed and a short nightstand. Checking the time was sometimes cumbersome because I would have to sit up and lean over my partner to see the time in the middle of the night. Now I just turn on the laser display and point it towards a part of the ceiling that I can easily see. I also don't have great eyesight so I need a relatively large and clear display (because I don't sleep with my glasses on). The laser display is a perfect size for me to see without glasses when targeting the ceiling about 6ft away from the emitter. All in all, it's a great clock. I'd easily take a price hike over a decrease in build quality on this thing because I can't find anything as nice and reliable elsewhere.

I had an old Homemedics projection clock that I needed to replace, and this one has been fantastic! I can't stand the light of clocks, but on this one, you can dim the face to where it is dark and you can only see it when the room is lit. The projection is good enough that it will project the time on a wall about 10 feet away. It also projects well on the ceiling. I have low vision without my glasses, and I can see the numbers well. The numbers are close to a foot tall when on my wall across the room. They are around 8-10 inches when projected on our standard 8' ceilings. I cannot see the numbers on the wall if the main light is on; however, if I only have a lamp on, I can see it dimly. We keep ours projected above the TV in our room, so we can see what time it is while watching TV as well as when we wake up at night. This clock comes with a battery backup, so if you have a power outage, it keeps the time. It doesn't stay on, however, if there is no power. It also shows the inside temperature on the face, but not on the projection. It is easy to set, and the projection is easy to move to where you need to, letting you flip it and focus it as needed. I haven't used the radio or the alarm clock, but they both seem easy to use and it has a small antenna for the radio that looks like a 6" wire hanging out. It is near the power cord, so it falls behind the clock. This is a great projection clock for the price. I bought it in December 2017, and it is still working well, but if I have any issues, I will update my post.

I'm 45. I've contributed much to the landfill in terms of dead, dying, lousy, otherwise worthless alarm clocks in my lifetime. This is by far the BEST alarm clock I have ever owned. Untill someone invents an alarm clock which can read my mind, this one will be difficult to supplant. It's like the swiss army knife of alarm clocks. It has every function you might want and some you probably haven't thought of. Once you get it set up, it is mostly automatic thereafter. Here are some features I really love about it: 1) The ceiling time projection feature seems dumb until you use it. No more reaching for the clock or angling one's neck to strain to read it when you want to know why you woke up at 2:47 am. 2) Dimming feature. When I hit the snooze button for the first time (not a morning person) I can hit it again to dim the readout-which in the morning is really bright and annoying. Other times, you will want it to be bright. The dimming feature is great for early-before you are ready to committ to getting out of bed. 3) Auto Daylight Savings. Maybe this is standard now, but this is the first alarm clock I've owned with it. 4) Superior antenna. Seriously. Every alarm clock I've ever owned has gotten crappy reception. This one produces NO static as long as te little antenna is not caught under the base...and you have it extended "out." 5) If you wake up at a different time on different days, you can set up the clock to accomodate that. Say, you need to be up by 5:00am mon-fri, but can sleep in till 6:00am on Sat. This clock can accomodate that so you only set it once and you're done. There are more features. But, some of them didn't come into play immediately for me. I learned about them through necessity or by fiddling with it. For a while, I had the ceiling time projected backwards. Somehow I couldn't figure out how to reverse it. Well, read the manual stupid! Read the little manual and it will clue you in to the many features this clock has. It's not even expensive! Get it. If you love sleep, do it.

This is the perfect alarm clock for me! It does EXACTLY what I want and no more. It is compact, easy to read, and relatively easy to set up. The only thing I had to get used to was the brightness of the display. My old clocks were pretty dim so I could leave the display on all the time. This is backlit so brightly that it can function as a night-light (which helps me get into bed without stubbing my toe). The manufacturer wisely put the dimmer right on top of the unit so you can dim it or shut off the display with a quick tap or two. But how do you know what time it is in the middle of the night? That's the best part! That little projector that shoots onto the ceiling TOTALLY WORKS. I thought that might be gimmicky but both my wife and I love it! You just pop your eyes open and look at the ceiling for the time. Very very nice. Finally, the radio has just one station programmed for your alarm. Most other clocks have multiple presets for the radio. But this is NOT a clock radio - is it an alarm clock that allows you to wake up to the radio. I NEVER used those presets on my old clocks. This unit is simple, clean, efficient - perfect.
