Good bye Food Processor and Hello Ninja.....
I am so happy I bought this I figured I would use it to make slushes for my 7yr old grandson this summer.... he loved the slushes especially since when he asked for them it was 123 and they were ready for him It so happened that one day I took down my elaborate food processor to grind my herbs to make seasoning I realized it had stopped working....so I took down my Ninja and guess what??? It worked much better and faster than my big time food processor.... and, it was much easier to clean....so, I put the whole big food processing machine in the garbage and I said "Good Bye Food Processor and Hello Ninja"

Wow! Great for Frappés and Almond Butter!
This thing is powerful! I just made homemade almond butter for the first time ever and it worked like a charm. I was worried it would overheat and it definitely got warm but it powered through. I will never buy almond butter again...can't wait to try macadamia nut butter next! I also made a coffee frappé with espresso, coconut milk, ice, and some cacao nibs. Refreshing! Very pleased...not all of us can afford to fork over $500 for a fancy blender.

We Love It!
We use this blender and food processor almost every day in our house. Holds up to everything we throw at it. Dices onions and garlic in 3 or 4 pulses. Super easy to use. You just fill it, put the lid on, then attach the motor and press the one button. It all comes apart for easy cleaning as well. Here's a recipe for a healthier banana peanut butter ice cream alternative: 1 Banana 2 tsp Peanut Butter 1 Tbsp Coco power Slice and freeze the banana for a few hours or overnight. Combine ingredients inside the food processor container that comes with the Ninja Master Prep. Blend until smooth. As an added bonus to the power and simple operator, the Ninja blends from the top and the blades come out completely, unlike a traditional blender or food processor. This makes scooping out food easier and dishes like Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream possible, because everything comes out of the container without having to work around blender blades. Recommended!

Yup..definitely a winner out of the box so far.
Just got it..and whipped up a 2/3 rds pitcher of iced pina coladas..used 1 tray of standard old ice cubes. This thing was pretty easy for me to assemble for use and ez to use. I didn't have to read the manual for that. I pulsed the entire mix about 6 times and then let it run for about 35 to 40 seconds. It had no troubles at all whipping up an icee style pina colada without leaving big chunks of ice. And it was very quiet compared to any other blenders I've used before..personal or standard. I haven't done any food processor things yet but from the look of things, I don't see how it would have a problem with that or smoothies. So far...I really am a bit impressed..and I purchased a used one! It came intact and well packaged with user manual. It does have a few pieces that need broken down for cleaning so 4 stars on that. If it lasts..I'll be very impressed and I will post an update in anout 3 months as to how that goes.

Competes with $200 blenders
I was in the market for a new blender, and some of my family members owned the large $200+ ninja blender. I had a slightly smaller budget for a blender, and I came across this and decided to give it a try because I knew ninja made good products. For only $35, I can't tell you how impressed I am with this product. This blender does the same job as the expensive ones, and it comes with two sizes! I use it for smoothies with a lot of frozen fruit, and it does a great job blending all the fruit. Clean up is very easy as well because the blades come apart in two pieces, making it easy to rinse off all food particles. I have had this blender for months and it has held up very well.

You Need This!
My husband heard from a co-worker that there is a Ninja Food Processor for sale on Amazon for $35. As soon as he got home that evening, he ordered it. We have used it every day since. The Ninja Food Processor is a wonderful addition to have in your home, it makes cutting vegetables, smoothies, crushing ice, (Etc…) so much easier. Pros: We were able to use it right away to make frozen margaritas. These were the best margaritas that we have had to date. The reason being is that little guy can chop ice so quickly that we put almost no effort into it. As you can see from the picture that it's got two containers, two lids three blades, the motor and lids. The big pitcher is full-size, by the way. It is a little what I call, “top-heavy” and I had to get used to this. There's only one speed and all you have to do is press on the top to get it going, talk about power! I have never thought much of the Ninja Food Processor and I regret it. I've thought it was a little too expensive for our household, so we never had one. Now, I don't think we could ever be without one. Ever. My Cons: I really don't have any serious cons, however, I have had a little trouble attaching the motor to the lid to the top. Second, for the food processing blades: I forgot to remove one of them and it literally pureed my vegetables. Always remember to get rid of one of them blades if you just want to chop something real quick. it didn't ruin my dinner, but I didn't get the desired appearance. In conclusion, I think that the Ninja Food Processor should be used by anyone who can afford one. There are so many things you can do with this and it really makes life much easier. I have been eating healthier because I can simply make a smoothie with just one press of the button. The motor is pretty quiet and it's really not something that would cause sensory overload. I highly, highly suggest this item to anyone. Just make sure you read the directions and learn how to use it first. Enjoy your Ninja!

Great affordable blender. Love it!
This is the second Ninja Prep we have purchased. One for our household, and a second to send to our son in the military. I LOVE this thing, its the best and most affordable blender I've ever had, and that's why I sent one to our son. I mostly use it for protein shakes, or for blending marinades for our slow cooker, and it blends ice and ingredients very well. I like the plastic container a lot (I hate glass blenders), and I really like the top blender design. I researched how many of those upside down blenders can leak, and so that's why I researched and found good reviews about this top down design. Have not used the little food chopper attachment yet. Note: the blades are super sharp, so I always make sure to clean them ASAP and put them in a plastic cup to dry, so I do not leave the blades in the the sink and risk somebody bumping hands into them. I periodically clean the little white space under the motor where the top of the blade attaches to-hard to describe here-with a wet q-tip to keep clean-sometimes a little something can splash up there into that white space when you are putting ingredients into the container.

This blender is fantastic. I bought it over a year ago because I love smoothies and milkshakes and wanted something powerful that would make sure there are no ice chunks in my mixed drinks. I was not disappointed. I have had no problems with the blender. It's easy to use and clean. I have also used the full sized Ninja blender (my roommate had one), but this little one works just as well. Great value for the price. Update: It's been another year since I wrote this review and the blender still works great. I love it. Best purchase ever.

Worth every penny! Don't wast money getting something more expensive!
The best bang for your buck if you are trying to get a cheap blender / anything for smoothies . I originally wanted the expensive ninja because I was trying to green smoothie cleanse but after the reviews I took a chance and ordered this ! Boy was I happy because this is perfect for anyone who is new to smoothie making or a klutz or accident prone . Also it is full proof impossible to break and clean without difficulty. I'm talking take the top off rinse ,wipe and that's it . I thought I would have to do my smoothies in the night before but honestly five minutes or ten if I'm being fancy with my ingredients. Overall you cannot I got it wrong With this blender slash jack of all trades prepper. And no I was not paid for this review or promised anything or coupon or whatever these other reviewers were lucky enough to get . I bought it with my own money with hard earned tears attached lol
