Excellent product for temporary or low-use needs

These were well-suited for my purpose. They are a heavy paper, the holes are not reinforced, and the tabs are not re-writable. But I use them for dividers in my college courses, and they only need to be durable for a couple of months before they get filed away (or tossed!). If your need is for something longer-lasting or more durable, get something else. If you have a temporary need, don't spend more, these are perfect. (And I couldn't find them in my local Staples or Office Depot.)

Strong and sturdy, clean looking and its nice that I can just tape on the labels, rather than the usual sticking it on a paper and sliding it in the plastic tabs, so it makes my work simpler and faster.

STURDY & INEXPENSIVE!

I needed some sturdy but inexpensive indexed dividers and these are perfect! I'm sorting tons of 8 1/2 x 11 printed sheets. The dividers are white and have a nice edge for labeling. I'm using pens but labels would work fine, too. And the one-fifth tab is lots bigger than the one-eighth tab.

Very Good Dividers that are Economical and Reusable!

I;m a special education teacher in a girls' high school and I teach students from 9th through 12th grades. That's a LOT of subjects, and I have to keep on top of every paper handed out by the mainstream teachers, and do that by organizing a 2" binder with dividers - and PLENTY of them. If you consider 4 grades, and only 4 subjects each, that's a whole lot of sections when you're talking 5-10 students. These divider are indispensable and I love that I can write in a dark pencil on the tabs, erase them well, and use the divider all over again. There are so many of them that I'm sure to have many left over for next year - and they're not expensive either. Not for the supply you get. I'm very happy about my choice.

Sturdy with clean cuts

These are sturdy with clean cuts on the tabs. Definitely an improvement over my old paper ones with the tab inserts. I use Post-It file labels cut down to size to label them so I can print them on my computer, and replace them as needed.

Excellent quality in a low, bulk price

I am a heavy user of index dividers. I have used Avery for many years, but tried these for the lower price. They are a little thicker than the Avery product and I think do a bit better job as dividers. Very satisfied.

All good-but being harassed into writing words makes me crazy. The order came. It came on time. I had no problem. In other words to save precious moments of my life: ALL GOOD.

Strong and sturdy

These are my favorite dividers. Strong enough to use over and over again.

Heavy duty, work great

I really wish Smead would offer these with more of the center cut size. Both the top and bottom end cuts can be turned around and upside down as needed, but invariably I need more center cuts. I would be willing to buy a package of just center cuts, if offered. These are almost impossible to find in stores now; and not in this quantity for this price. Highly recommend the Amazon office supply store!
