The black line at the top of the bag made all the difference to me when walking two dogs and picking up their mess. I could easily reach the bag with one hand, open it, and know immediately which was the open end, by checking that black line! Recently I just loss my last dog, but my memories of the convenience of the colorful Out bags will be forever!!

We've tried lots of brands of poop bags, but these are the ones we've standardized on because they just work better. The perforations between bags seem better - they separate cleanly with either a sharp snap or a gentle tear. The printing on the sides makes it easy to find the top, and the top opens much easier than most we've tried. The thickness is spot on too, as is the quality of the plastic: sharp rocks, twigs, and leaves don't tend to poke holes through these bags as easily as they did other bags. As for the colors, that's neither here nor there as we're not one of those people who leaves bags of dog poop to "pick up on the way back," although if that's you then the bright colors may be a significant plus. Honestly, there's not much to say about a good poop bag, except that in our many years of dog ownership we've bought our share of not-so-good ones and they're miserable. And, that these are good ones.

The plastic of these is slightly thicker than ones I've bought in my local grocery store. They hold well and don't pop when you fill them with kitty litter and poo. The ones from the grocery store were fine, but the ones from the dollar store didn't even hold air most of the time, they were so poorly made. These are great and I'll keep buying them. It's easier to order here than remembering them when I'm buying food.

I've been using these bags for years now, and wouldn't go on walks without them. They conveniently fit in my dispenser on the leash, are good quality, and fairly priced.

I know it's ridiculous to rate a poop bag as a 5. But this product earns it. We've always used OUT! brand in black plastic. The store I'd purchased from before stopped carrying this brand. I couldn't find the brand in any of the regular places to shop. I tried several other brands and did not like them. The problem....the others just didn't tear off well. Some were worse than others but none had the ease of tearing that OUT! had. You don't want to be reduced to trying to tear off a poop bag by using your teeth after your dog performs. People in the park find this behavior worrisome. And sometimes when you'd finally free the bag from the poorly serrated roll, it would tear out the bottom. If you didn't notice the damage and you scoop and the results fall out onto your shoe, it leads to cussing while in the park, which in some counties is illegal. I called the manufacturer and found out the black bags were discontinued by the company. Since the other brands I'd tried all were in colors, I was concerned about trying these thinking it was the type of plastic that caused the problems. The company assured me they were made by the same folks who made their black ones. So I tried. I was delighted when they arrived and indeed these tear off as easily as the black ones did. This plastic is definitely thinner than the previous black, but they work fine. I immediately placed another order of 6 packages (in order to avoid shipping charge). Very good product. I've never pulled off a bag with a defective bottom. Some other brands had at least 2 defective ones on each roll.

I use one bag for both of my dogs when I take them out. These bags are strong and easy to maneuver around the mess inside so that you can clean up a couple of piles. However, my dogs are both Chihuahuas so I don’t know how these will hold up with big dogs.

Favorite doggy bags ever. Only ones I buy now. I have never had an issue with them tearing at the bottom, or not separating to open, or not detaching from the other bags in the roll. They also have a little black square to show which side opens (it's sometimes the small things that make a difference) and they open easily. I have purchased other brands of bags that I had to tie a knot on one side before using because of bad manufacturing (open on both sides), or the bags wouldn't detach from the roll and they tore a little at the bottom. I can tell you, when your dog has the runny mushy poo and it is dark outside, you don't want to be worrying that your finger might poke through the bag when you pick up the mess. I'm happy I found this brand.

My dog is a sweet little Labrador-Golden Retriever mix. She only weighs about 50 pounds but she has been known to drop huge bunker-busting bombs on our walks. She releases her payload with no remorse and takes no prisoners. She stares at me with a mocking grin as I unravel an OUT! Rainbow Dog Waste Pick-Up Bag and delicately slide my trembling hand into it. I wonder to myself who owns who in this relationship as I reach down and wrap my hand around her steaming mass of sinful business. I slowly slide the edges of the bag down my arm as I attempt to turn the bag inside out without painting my arm brown. Then I tie it up, thankful for the sturdiness of the plastic and try to remember if tomorrow is garbage day. The one shining beacon in an otherwise demeaning and thankless job is the brightly colored bags. It's like a yellow ray of sunshine in world that is mostly brown with the occasional shade of orange. But it doesn't always have to be a yellow ray of sunshine, no sir, it could be green or orange or even purple if you're feeling especially kooky. A world of wonderment awaits you as you use the OUT! Rainbow Dog Waste Pick-Up Bags!

I purchased these not for the purpose of dog waste, but to dispose of feminine hygiene products. After spending lots of money on a plumber a few months back, looking for a better way to dispose of female products and wanted to order some bags for this purpose. I looked and found some advertised- they were the same price and virtually the same bag as these, but with the other kind you only get 50 bags. Granted, theirs are pink and scented. So, if pink scented products float your boat, by all means... These just arrived and I tore one off the roll and opened with ease. Bag will be large enough to hold any kind of product used easily, tie it shut and throw it away. I abused a bag a bit, pulling it this was and that and no tears, not even when I poked at it with my fingernails. So, the bag feels sturdy enough, I am not packing a lunch in it. So, for my purpose, these will be a godsend. For dog poop? I am sure they would be great for that as well. Bags are plenty large to safely pick up a pile and tie and toss. Highly recommend for whatever you will use them for.

Best pick up bag for me. Just the right thickness - not so thin that you feel the poop or so thick that it is not flexible. Also like the colors. Used to buy it from Target but they stopped selling this brand. Now go straight to Amazon. So many products that the "brick and mortars" stopped selling that I now buy regularly on Amazon. And you wonder why the stores are going under.
