- 12 GAUGE THICKNESS: This 12 gauge copper speaker wire offers very easily connection for speakers to amplifiers or receivers. The thickness is just enough for resistance and electrical flow without the risk of overheating
- CUT AS DESIRED: The wire can be cut as desired for specific installation needs. If the plastic jacket is removed, the wire can be left bare or use wire crimp accessories to connect to stereo and speakers
- UNDISTORTED SIGNAL: Made with plastic jacket surrounding the speaker wire to help deliver high-quality undistorted signals to and from all of connected audio equipment. This also helps with insulation
- POLARITY MARK: There’s a red mark outlined on one side of the cable wire. Its purpose is to easily distinguish the polarity and help properly set up any audio stereo, surround sound system, TV home theater and even a car
- 50FT CONVENIENT DISPENSE: This very long 50ft speaker wire is neatly wrapped around a hard plastic spool for easy and convenient dispensing. It can be used without hassle and instantly too

everything sounds good hooked up
Conducts electricity between my speakers and receiver! For real, though, everything sounds good hooked up. I haven't, for example, A/B tested things with different cable, but I have no complaints as a semi-discerning listener and the cable was easy to work with and cheap.

Wonderful bargain, and works great!
Man, I must say this speaker wire is a bargain and thick and tough enough for car audio. I had used bits and pieces from several wiring kits for most of my wiring.( and most of it is garbage) My front speakers have good wiring, My sub and rear speakers did not. This solved that problem today with plenty left over. I could not be more pleased.

I think this is surprisingly good for my purposes
I think this is surprisingly good for my purposes, which are probably a bit unusual. The main purpose is to make wire loop antennas for shortwave and AM broadcast band. Pick a size of frame, wind the wire around the appropriate number of times, add a variable capacitor, and "boom" you've got a fine-tunable narrow-band antenna. This wire "zips" apart quite well and is heavier than a lot of the "18-gauge speaker wire" that I've found at national department stores and even the store that sounds a bit like "Video Snack". It will take me a while to use 1000x2 feet of it, but I will eventually have saved a lot of money buying it in 100-foot and smaller rolls.

Great small guage wire.
I have to disagree with a lot of the reviewers that did not like the quality of the insulation. It was thick enough and more importantly very flexible and strong at the same time. I actually had trouble stripping it with my cheap wire strippers because it would just flex rather than cut. I pulled it through my attic crawlspace and even across sharp metal joiners that cut my knee through my pants and it held it's integrity. It flexes very well.

Good wire...Buy it!
I've been an "audiophile" since high school in the 70s. When it comes to RCA type interconnect cables...I think it's important to spend a little extra for good quality cables. When it comes to speaker wire...most high-end products are WAY overrated! This speaker wire is GREAT! It's flexible, easy to terminate, and I'm pumping out 600w/channel on my eMotiva amp...this stuff performs perfect. Save yourself some $ and buy it without hesitation.

Good Wire & Easy to Work With
Wanted some heavier wire for connecting a new set of Klipsch Speakers to my old Adcom Amplifiers and found this spool here on Amazon for considerably less than any of the local big box stores in my area. Their pricing was just absurd for speaker wire, even the smaller 14ga. I'm not one who "needs" the more expensive, some insanely priced brands that are out there now. My runs are short, about 8ft to each main speaker, and about 4ft to the center channel speaker, so this wire was more than enough to do all of those, with plenty of extra when required. I've noticed no difference in this 12ga wire over the old 10ga and 8ga wire I used to use in years past, other than thickness of course. This wire works very well and you get to pocket some extra money for other goodies. I'm not sure if this wire is rated for any in wall installations or not, but to me that didn't factor into the buying decision. I just wanted some decent 12ga speaker wire at a reasonable price. And here it is. Thanks Amazon.

Our systems sound great, we're happy
My husband has been installing stereo systems in all of our vehicles. This was exactly what he needed to finish the job. It arrived quickly so he didn't have to wait and was packaged with care. Our systems sound great, we're happy. Our neighbors, not so much ;)

Excellent Speaker Wire
It's speaker wire, so there's not a ton to say. No reason to spend more on it, as wire is basically wire. Get the correct gauge, and you should be good to go. What I did like about this cable was how flexible it was, considering how think the insulation is. This is good stuff, and you can't beat the price.

ran through conduit easily and strips well
One thing you should be aware of, the cable I received was 100% copper rather than copper and aluminum as shown. It doesn't matter, I prefer copper. What was shipped had a red line to help me when running 10 meters of wire to my home theater. I very much appreciated the coating which didn't tangle up over long distances, ran through conduit easily and strips well. The insulation is quite thick so be sure to be mindful when stripping wires. I would say I'd buy again but seriously I bought 250-feet spool so I never have to wire again. Not for the price I was charged!
