I'd recommend watching it for a few days or weeks for ...
I ordered this mattress to go with the Dream On Me Classic 3 in 1 Convertible Crib which is also sold on Amazon. The mattress fits perfectly and seems to be plenty firm. There was a huge price difference between the white, light pink, and light blue mattress at the time I was ready to order. I opted for the light blue because it was much cheaper and you can't even see the color once it gets covered with a sheet! I got it for $35.27 and received it within 2 days. Now, just a few days later, I see that the price has gone up to $60! I'd recommend watching it for a few days or weeks for a price drop and snag this mattress at a great deal!

Perfectly fine for the price!
I originally wanted a memory foam mattress for my baby as he will be on my bed as well as a bedside bassinet for a couple months... but I will be using the angelcare movement sensor baby monitor, as I did with my first son who is now almost 8 years old. The monitor requires a regular mattress for proper sensing, therefore I chose this mattress after much research. Although many of the reviews on here now seem so negative, I just put the mattress in the crib and it will be sufficient. There is no smell, no tears, isn't noisy, fits snug in a standard size crib, is very light, and is plenty firm enough for baby safety. I do not see any issues with this mattress. I will be using a quilted mattress cover, a soft waterproof pad and a sheet, as well as a crib skirt underneath, so I do not see any issues with future tears causing and choking hazards. Once the baby is closer to a year old and does not need the movement sensoring anymore, I will probably get the memory foam mattress anyway... so I do not plan to use this for 3 years or anything anyway... would recommend! I just pushed it into the crib quickly to see how well it filled it out and to take a photo for the review. The crib is a Delta convertible style that my son had used in all phases. We just converted it back to the crib set up as he wanted to have his new baby brother have it at this point :-)

Great buy!
We bought this to fit a Ikea crib (the specific model is mentioned in the community Q&A for this mattress), and it is a perfect fit! It has held up very well for the past 18 months and continues to hold it's shape and firmness. It is also very easy to clean, and hasn't retained any liquid or smells. At least once a week we need to pull off the sheets and wipe it down (even those night-time diapers can't contain it all!), and the mattress continues to appear and smell clean. As we prepare for baby #2, we are buying another of the same Ikea cribs (that converts to a toddler bed) along with another one of these mattresses. For the price, and the quality we have experienced, you can't get a better deal elsewhere!

Solid for 2+ years
I purchased this mattress in April of 2015, and haven't had any problems with it! No cracked covering, no smell. I was reading the reviews and debating on getting a 2nd one for my next child I'm expecting in September, and am surprised by the other reviews. I plan to get a 2nd!

Stands up to an active toddler
I ordered this mattress for my now 2 year old. He is rough on it! He jumps and jumps (all while singing "no more monkeys jumping"), he has thrown up on it, peed on it, etc. This mattress has held up well! There is a crease in the top that has cracked open a bit from all of the jumping, but it is still intact and works great. I really don't think any mattress could hold up better to that abuse. I keep a waterproof pad on it so I'm not concerned about a slight tear. He seems comfortable and it is firm enough that I have never worried about his breathing. There is no space around the edges inside a standard crib. There is no sagging from my son's body weight. It is also light enough that I could still pull it out and change the sheets 9 months pregnant. He's used it from ages 4 months to 2 years and it's going strong. I'm now ordering it for my daughter. I'm a happy customer and I'm sure my daughter will be just as happy to sleep on it as my son has been!

Love the squared edges
I was afraid to get this mattress because of the reviews that said the sheets people had used with it (and they seemed like very standard sheets, like Circo) had put enough pressure on the mattress that it had compressed and shrunken. However, the price, and plethora of good reviews convinced me to try it out. Fortunately, the sheets I do have seem to fit just fine and not tightly at all, so hopefully the compression and shrinking will not be an issue. For my son, we had a Sealy Firm Rest mattress which was nice enough, but it that one is a lot more costly now than it was 5 years ago. This one is a bit cheaper and seems to be just as firm. The thing I truly love is that the edges are squared on this mattress, Whereas the Sealy had more rounded edges and left voids in each corner of the crib. I will post back later after baby has had a chance to sleep on the mattress to give a fuller review.

No Smell, and babies won't complain.
Update 23 Aug 17: Upgraded to 5 stars. I've purchased two of these for two kids. Both kids have survived and so have the mattresses, regardless of whatever some hippy over-protective helicopter mom may believe based on nonsense psuedo science and a garbage belief that all man made things cause cancer. They've survived "spills" and and spills with no stains or smells. Their size is standard so they fit the standard cribs. Not sure what else I can say. Two toddlers and these are fine and have lasted over 3 years without issue. ----------------------------------------------- People have complained about a smell. Mine came with none. I don't know anything about the materials that it is made of, and am truly not concerned with "off gassing" from it. It is firm, which is good for the baby. It is a standard size, which is great for most cribs. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because I don't have enough longevity with the item to say whether it is viable after a couple years.

almost 3 years and no complaints!
Purchased this in 2015 before my son came, and it had pretty good reviews. I was a big researcher on all things baby. We even purchased a second identical one for my parents nursery for when we visited. We have had ZERO issues other reviewers are writing...frankly reading them now makes me a tad nervous (mold, deteriorating mattress?!) but my son is 2.5 now and we will be moving him to a full size bed and reusing this mattress for baby#2...I will keep a close eye on mattress each week when we change sheets but we have seen no problems. Our mattress doesn't get wet often and no issues with it coming apart. Will update if we have any changes!

Great Quality!!!
I absolutely love this mattress! It did have a new carpey smell when I first opened it, but it was gone after a day of being out of the box. I am a first time Mom, so I carefully picked this mattress. In comparison to other mattresses, I found this mattress to be softer. It's still a firm mattress and I do not believe it presents a choking hazard at all. It is well made and i believe that this product will hold up for a long time.

No sagging after 2 years
Has held up great for 2+ years now. Haven’t really noticed any sagging which was a big concern for me when deciding what mattress to purchase. Our daughter had slept on it every night since she was born. We have rotated it a couple of times since she primarily sleeps on one end. I’m sure this has helped with sagging but it’s easy enough to do every so often. We use a waterproof cover but not necessarily needed since the material is easily wiped. I’ve read a lot of crib mattress reviews where people complain about the smell- I’m not sure if this is one of those mattresses but I’ve never noticed a scent with mine and I have a super sensitive nose. Great price for the quality. Would buy again.
