Applies Nice and Smooth

Used this to prep a replacement bumper for my Titan that has to be color matched. Paint was super easy to apply and went on with zero runs. The nozzle that comes with the cans is great so it is hard to overdo it. Took one full can to put this finish on the bumper.

perfectly matched the color of my Honda Pilot, i used this with the primer and clear coat by the same company and didnt have any problems with it running, i just made sure to put on 3 light coats of this (9 coats in all including the primer and clear coat) waiting 10min in between each coat

Original paint for vehicles

I haven't used the paint on my car yet but a test spray on a piece of plastic appears to match the original paint on my car.

1) add body filler putty to deep scratches 2) use paint leveler on a towel to wipe of excess 3) sand (1000 grit all the way to 3000) and buff 4) paint primer onto putty and around and wait 15 min 5) sand and buff again but this time only with 3000 grit but only sideways in 1 direction to reduce paint drip 6) make sure surface is extremely smooth and perfect, a good prime job will result in a ...

Stuff works well. Used on a BMW. It fills the deep scratches well but I would combine this product with some body filler putty. 1) add body filler putty to deep scratches 2) use paint leveler on a towel to wipe of excess 3) sand (1000 grit all the way to 3000) and buff 4) paint primer onto putty and around and wait 15 min 5) sand and buff again but this time only with 3000 grit but only sideways in 1 direction to reduce paint drip 6) make sure surface is extremely smooth and perfect, a good prime job will result in a good finished product 7) ensure there are no dents or scratches left from sanding. Now is the time to make the primer look good as it dries fast and you can sand 8) you don't want to waste the colorcoat and continually sand because you didn't use enough putty or enough primer or sand enough 9) apply the colorcoat ontop of the primer and putty. APPLY LIGHTLY. Thin coats. You don't want paint drip. And spray far away. 10) apply the second colorcoat after waiting 15 min. 11) apply the clearcoat in 2 coats lightly, allowing 15 min to dry. Done, deep scratches removed.

Much better than Rustoleum.

Much better than Rust-Oleum 249279 Automotive 11-Ounce Filler Primer Spray Paint, Gray - see my review for the problems I had with Rustoleum. This comes in a smaller can, but I got better coverage. MUCH superior spray tip, which makes a big difference. This did not not fill any better than the Rustoleum, so you have to sand well and fill any small dings or edges.The even spraying tip means it's easier to apply several even coats - I didn't sand between coats, and only a light hand sanding was needed after three coats of primer. I will definitely use this again.
