These are built solid and fit perfectly. I have two winding clocks a mantle clock and wall clock, I intended to use this set for the mantle clock which has two windings one for the clock and another for the chimes. Because the face cover of the mantle clock opens to a 90 degree of the clock face I cannot give a full rotation of the winding key for the chime because it hits the face cover, the clock wind works fine which is the side where the face cover opens. This is something to keep in mind for anyone thinking of ordering this set. I believe I could modify the key by cutting off a small portion of the interfering prongs but instead I will use the key I have for the wall clock and use this set for the wall clock which has a larger face and its cover opens 180 degrees. Because they are so well made and I'm sure I could modify the key I require I still give it five stars.

I had a pendulum clock that I got at a thrift store, and of course it didn’t have a key. When I went online I realized that there are so many key sizes, I didn’t even know where to begin. I came across this key set and, to be honest, I balked a little at the price. Once they arrived, I realized that they were well worth it. They are absolutely solid, and will certainly last a very long time without needed replaced. I got my clock up and running again, and the size 10 key worked perfectly. Thank you!

This is much better than I had expected. I thought this would just help me find which key I would need to order on a clock I got at a second hand store. This is more like a permanent key for multiple clocks. I plan on purchasing more clocks now that I have this. Can't go wrong with this purchase if you are missing a wind up key.

I acquired an old wall clock that didn't chime and didn't have a key. I didn't know exactly what size or type of key I needed to repair this particular clock. After purchasing this clock key - which had the right size that I needed for the 2 areas that needed winding - the clock works like new. I'm loving hearing the chimes strike on the hour and half hour.

I bought an old Regulator wind up clock at the thrift store and it didn't have a key. This key works perfect on the clock. I was very happy to see that the clock works.

These keys did not need to be good looking in a nice case, they just had to have the rights size for my beloved mantel clock. After our most recent tragic move after the death of a close family member. I was looking for the comfort of my clock run and ring in the background but we had lost the key and I could not remember what Key size was needed. I came across this set at a reasonable price, figuring it had to be one of these sizes. I was right it was one of these sizes, I was wrong as to which size I had been thinking all along it was 6 but wasn't sure, it was an 8 I'm so glad I got the multi size set.

I lost a key to one of my clocks. I thought it was a size seven but wasn't sure. With these tools, I was able to determine it was actually a size 5. Very handy. I read people on line saying to take the clock apart and measure the winding mechanism... No thanks, just get a set of these.

What do you do with a bunch of German antique clocks and one old French Baker's clock, with a variety of keys that sometimes fit and sometimes do not? You'll soon learn clock keys come in sizes (like shoes) and unless you know the right size, you're due for some pain. Also like shoes. That's where this product comes into play. You can use the right size among the 8 provided, or you can find the right size to precisely get the exact right size. This key set was a perfect solution to a winding problem.

Great product. I lost the key to my chiming clock and could not find a replacement locally. These multiple key options came quickly and I was able to find the size that works perfectly with my clock. I was very happy to find a replacement for my clock key and very happy to find that these keys ae well made and will probably outlast the clock.

Just arrived today, looks nice. One key has all odd number keys and the second key is all the even numbered key numbers. Tested on two clocks, a #4 & #7 key, seems to work OK. For us that are novices, one size key may appear to fit OK but if you try the next size down, that key may be a perfect fit. I would guess all the keys of this construction type are the same but you'll find yourself having to have both keys in hand to find the exact fit.
