Used this to compound the paint on my 07 4Runner. Almost 200k miles but the paint looks amazing after I compounded with this (and McGuires Compounding polish) and then finished with a white pad (McGuires polish) and finally carnuba turtle wax. Washed it out 3x during the whole detail, car looks amazing and the pictures don't do it justice!

I used hex-logic orange pads for the first step of restoration on my 1993 Caravelle interceptor. The gel coat was completely opaque, and I was told it was a lost cause. Orange pads with the chemical guy's boat compound brought it back to life!!!!! this is a before and after on my pictures. I rand the buffer at 1600 rpm and I encountered no burn or destruction of the pad as some reviews had spoken of. Pad clean up was easy with some spray water from the hose and my hand running the buffer at 600 rpm. I used two pad on the 23' boat because I would switch out to clean and let one dry before using it further.

I have been detailing cars for 20 years. I am not a professional but I have done it for myself, my friends and family. My tool of choice is a Porter Cable 7424xp I have tried many different pad/polish combinations and I really like these pads with Megs 105/205 combo.

I've been using these Hex Logic pads for years, and there's a reason for it, they do the job! I am NOT a professional detailer, but I know my way around the waxing/polishing/paint correction products and I know what works and what does not. These pads work great, my only and I mean ONLY Complaint is that I don't believe they should cost $8.00 a piece. How about something in the $5.00 range Chemical Guys? Other than that, the pads do not disappoint, and until I find another source that makes these that achieve the same results at a cheaper price, I'll continue to purchase.

This compounding pad was very gentle and worked well at my first attempt to remove light swirls. It also did quite well with very light scratches. Regarding one three foot long clear coat scratch across the top of the rear bumper numerous (50) passes with the orbital polisher reduced the scratch by 75%. At the 75% point I am going to get the opinion of the car wash compound/polish pro about proceeding. He previously compounded the car for major swirl areas, but did not focus on the scratch. Although annoying, I can live with the remaining scratch as it is almost invisible unless looking down at it and knowing it is there.

Coming from the cheap Harbor Freight ones i had before these are amazing! I have had good results and have 3 of these right now. My oldest one is a couple years old and still works just as good! Just make sure and clean them right when your done using them. They come clean a lot easier.

These and the orange version are my go-to pads for keeping my farm equipment and trucks looking good. These along with chemical guys V32 and V36 make quick work for taking out medium depth scratches and bringing the finish up to a mirror like shine. My 1st project with these were to revive my 07 chevy pickup after years of drive through car washes. The before and after is unbelieveable! Only touchless or microfiber hand wash for me now. The really nice feature of chemical guys products is the water based formula and the amount used versus conventional buffing. No more slinging product all over the vehicle and no more trying to figure out how to get the white residue off course plastic pieces and hood screens.

These are pads are absolutely amazing. Top quality and very similar to "LC pads". Never had one fall apart on me. I just used this lad today to apply jet seal to my 9 year old tacoma with a 140,000 miles that lives in North East PA and still looks grest thanks to CG's products. Dont mind the black trim I didnt get there yet when i took these pics today. 3-19-21

I used this pad manually with a grip to buff and reduce a few scratches in my car's clear-coat with 3M Perfect-It #2 to start then #3 to polish, and a thin coat of wax after. It left a glassy smooth surface with no swirl marks when done by hand making small circles. The scratches went from obvious to see at 3 feet to like a hairline or less. The pad might be a bit firm for sharp bends and curves in the car's body, it is a fairly dense/firm foam and doesn't bend or compress much. Worth the price
