Loooove this yarn
I love this yarn. I have included a pic of one of my baby blankets made with this yarn. Took 2 of the big balls using a N crochet hook.

This is the best yarn I've knitted with
I just used this yarn to make 2 baby blankets. I used to single ball of yarn for each one, and it made a decent size little blanket. It's probably going to be more like a comfort blanket for both babies but it's a good size to cover just the baby with so that you don't have to contend with so much extra blanket and a baby. The yarn is super soft and really easy to work with.

I love Bernat baby blanket yarn! It is definitely my preferred brand because of how soft it is, all the available colors, and how easily the yarn does not knot up. I swear it's the only brand yearn that doesn't turn into an ultimate knot when undone. I have my husband unroll the entire ball into a laundry basket so I could crochet faster and I've never had a stressful knot.

Loved this yarn for baby blanket
This yarn is very soft and very thick.I bought one skein at local fabric store but didn't get enough to finish baby blanket. I was working too far from the store to go back and buy another so I ordered online. I was nervous about I being a different lot number and the colors not matching. But they matched perfectly, exactly what I wanted. I also bought a small dove grey skein to create a border. The label wasn't clear how many skeins I needed for a project, almost like there was some printing missing. It also wasn't clear what colors were included, so I winged it to match the dove grey. Luckily I picked out the right one and my friend loved the blanket. I'd buy this again.

I love all of Bernat's blanket yarn
I love all of Bernat's blanket yarn, and the baby yarn. I've knitted blankets and (winter) dresses with it. I also think this is a good yarn if you like to do bigger projects, but don't have patience set to 100%... I can knit a dress for my toddler in just a few hours. Or if you like soft materials that don't feel scratchy on your fingers. I like to use thicker knitting needles than recommended for airier products, especially for winter clothing. The bigger all the "holes" are, the more room for air to heat up between your body and your winter jacket or coat. There's a few knots here and there, but doesn't seem to be any more than other yarns I've used, and they're tied hard, and I haven't had anything unravel so far. I'd love these yarns in a thinner version as well.

Beautiful color, very soft and mixes great with the ...
Beautiful color, very soft and mixes great with the "vanilla" baby blanket yarn when doing stripes. I'm not sure that I'd call this teal, however. It's a very pure blue, and while I disagree with gendering colors, I just want add that someone who saw the blanket that I'm making seemed confused when I said it was for my niece. This isn't a big deal at all to me, but maybe it is to you.

Love this yarn...
I used this yarn to make a baby blanket for a friend who is expecting. This yarn is very easy to work with, soft and light weight. I used 2 colors to make the blanket shown in the photos. The taupe color was used to make the “marching elephants” border around the edge. I have another baby blanket to make very soon, and there is no other choice for me except the Bernat Baby Blanket Big Ball yarn. The project came together quickly and I was very pleased with the results. Give it a try..... you will be “hooked” as well!

Easiest yarn to work with
This is by far the best yarn I've ever worked with! It's so thick and soft. I first used this a year ago when I was pregnant with my son and since then this is the only yarn I work with. Other baby yarn sheds A LOT which is awful when your baby likes chewing on fabric. This is perfect because it doesn't shed, doesn't stretch out, and doesn't tear or unravel. I just made another baby blanket for my pregnant sister using lilac dove. I used baby lilac on the border and the lilac is a bit different than in the lilac dove but it doesn't make it look weird at all. I typically use an 8 mm hook and do either a single or double crochet (depending on the desired breathability). Single crochet makes it super heavy and warm where double crochet I use when I want to make a blanket to keep in my son's crib. The double crochet makes it so that if the blanket covers his face he can still easily breathe. Also with this being so thick there isn't a way where it can compress enough to get around his neck and strangle him so I feel safe having this in his crib with him. For baby blankets I use three big ball skeins and it makes a blanket roughly 47" x 47" using single crochet. I made a crib blanket using double crochet that is 19" x 22" and used less than one big ball and made a car seat blanket using one big ball. This yarn goes a long way.

Soft and easy- to- use yarn
My 11 year old daughter loves to crochet baby blankets and this yarn is easy for her to use and feels so, so soft. Her little brother even asked for his own square to play with because it's so soft. It's the only yarn she will use for baby blankets. All the blankets she's made so far have washed and held up well.

Awesome quality yarn!
Loveee this yarn. Will use for every baby blanket I make going forward. Sooo soft and snuggly. The blanket I’m currently making is super tight stitch and coming out so cozy I honestly wish it were for me! The yarn ball is really big, this is my second one for this blanket which is a larger blanket than I normally make. Excited for the end product
