Perfect for keeping little hands busy
I got this as a toy to take in the car for a long car trip for my 2 year old. I know that after a couple hours she gets restless and I wanted to have a few things that would keep her occupied. Lately, she's been very interested in buckles, snaps, ties, velcro, etc and this looked like a great way to work on her hand eye coordination. She LOVED this toy. She had fun opening and closing the zipper and buckling the buckles. It was great because we talked about matching colors and her little hands worked hard at getting the buckles to clip together. Once she was done buckling as many as she could, she'd hand it back to me saying, "More, Mama." This was great on two 10 hour car rides and kept her busy for a couple of hours, off and on, each way. Thank you for having something that kids are naturally interested in and helps them learn while keeping little hands busy!

Great Travel Toy
I bought this for my 21 month old grand daughter as a toy she could play with on an airplane ride. She has loved playing with the buckle on her high chair and car seat for a few months so I knew this toy would be a winner. And it was! She loved all the buckles although she needed help opening the square buckles as they require you to push the two sides of the buckle together at the same time. She could open and shut the round, and sliding buckles by herself. She just learned how to open a zipper so she loved opening and closing the zipper and putting in/taking out small items from the zipper compartment. I had bought another toy, a magnetic farm scene, for the plane ride and she spent 45 minutes putting the animal magnets into the zipper compartment, closing it, opening it, and taking them out. A definite winner that was enjoyed not only on the airplane but all week while we were on vacation with her.

Great 'quiet' or travel toy!
I ordered this for my 18 month old daughter for our 12 hour drive to the beach. She liked it but at that time couldn't quite figure out how to buckle anything on it...but my 3.5 year old? LOVED IT! And spent a lot of time playing with it during the car ride. At the time I'm writing this review, we've had this toy for 3 months and place it in our 'church bag' because it engages the kids and is quiet and simple for church. My 20 mo old daughter now enjoys learning how to buckle and unbuckle...my 3.5 year old still plays with it and I've even caught my 7 year old playing with it during church :) Great quality!

A fan favorite in our house!
This toy is perfection for kids who like to stand at their high chair/booster and do the buckles over and over again! It is also great for teaching colors since they match up based on color. We recently used on an international flight and I am not joking when I say it took job MANY hours of play time. I like similar products that make the buckles hard to stay put or have too many frills, this pillow like you is perfect for little inquisitive hands!

My daughter can't get enough of this toy!!!!
My 24 months old daughter has had this toy about 3 months now. When I noticed that she was intrigued by buckles, I scoped this type of toy out! I got it for traveling season this spring / summer. It might be hard to tell from the photo but it has 3 different types of clasps (some easier than others). On the front is the smiley face, on the back there are numbers (1 - 5) with different colors and shapes, so this toy is a little bit more than just buckles. I have buckled it to the diaper bag or stroller when on the go which is handy. I haven't thrown it in the washer yet (only surfaced cleaned) but I would suspect that it could handle the washing machine on gentle cycle. The quality of this toy is very good. It also has a zipper side pocket. I don't know if that's for an added exercise for the toddler, but I thought it was the perfect inside pocket to stash a pacifier. Very pleased thus far!

Well Worth The Investment!
This toy seems pricy for what it is, but I think it’s worth it. My 15 month old can spend 20 minutes trying to figure out the buckles. He loves to point to the numbers on the back as I count them out loud! I love the added zipper. I like to “hide” an egg shaker in the pocket. The toy then makes noise and it’s an add game for my son to play. This is a great car/travel toy. It is also a fun way to stay entertained at a restaurant before the food comes - a great alternative to handing over a smart phone! I can see my son getting long term use out of this. It’ll be an entirely new toy once he can completely figure out all the buckles. Such a great toy!

Holds two year olds attention
My twin two year old girls love their "Bucky" toy as they call him. We got these to travel with on the plane as they had really been enjoying doing the buckles on their high chairs and this toy did not disappoint. One of my girls played with this for an hour of the flight which was amazing. When we got back we let the girls play with them at home and they will sit nice and quietly as they play. It has helped them learn how to match colors as you need two of the same color strap to buckle the toy. It is also sweet to watch my girls as they will help one another if one gets stuck. They both are still learning to unbuckle the toy so we do have to help them but that's ok as they will learn with time. We purchased this one and the blue one that has the flaps on the back. I really don't think the flaps were worth the extra money as my girls just don't seem to care for them so if you are looking to save a couple bucks I would go with this one.

AMAZING, amazing toy! Stop reading review and go buy!
I think this is the first review I've ever written but I felt compelled to come on and say BUY THIS TOY! I'm always hesitant to spend more than $10 on any toy but after having our daughter use it nonstop for months now I would absolutely sell my right kidney for this toy. It entertains her for hours on end (gave it at 16 months and still going strong), is educational, teaches fine motor skills, etc etc. If you're looking for a toy for a flight, look no further!

Keeps our kids busy for hours!!
This toy immediately became our "can't live without it" toy. Our kids love manipulating objects and playing with buckles, so this guy has proven to be amazingly entertaining! Since it's so small and easily clips onto the diaper bag, not only has this toy kept our kids busy for hours in the car, but also in waiting rooms, restaurants, and any other place that we need a small and quiet activity. We recently took it on a 5,000 mile road trip, and literally kept our kids busy in the car for hours. They never seemed to get sick of it! I can't remember how we survived before our buckle toys!

My favorite part of the Buckle Toy is that it has ...
My favorite part of the Buckle Toy is that it has the zippered pouch which can be used to put in weighted materials to turn this into a "heavy work" pillow! The buckles have different designs which allow the kids to practice different ways of latching and unlatching buckles. The straps allow children to "match" colors or get zany and use different colors. My only complaint is that I ordered the green pillow and instead I received the orange pillow. :(
