Runs hotter than set temp

Really easy to use! I did test the temperature with a temp gun when I had the press set to 320. It registered 320 around the edges but was actually a lot hotter (380) in the center of the platen. Better too hot though, then not hot enough! But regardless of that, it does seem to work fine.

Solid built and works great

Solid item.. Clamshell locks down with even high pressure/adjustable . temp stays at what you set it at. Heats up very quickly, ready for use in less than 5 minutes. Packaged very well for shipping. Great price!! Only CON: Clam only opens at about 45 degrees.. makes it hard to place transfer sheets.. I burned my knuckles a few times. Over-all a nice item, and very quick delivery

Great Product for Newbies

I was skeptical on buying this product. I am smart enough to know that a big product like this through the mail is subject to damage. I took a chance and it payed off. I was scared that I was going to receive a lemon, like all the negative comments, but I was very satisfied. I felt like they took all the negative comments and applied it, because the package was great. The product itself was great. The heating plate was a more scratched up than I would like, but everything else was phenomenal. There was the initial chemical smell that everyone else mentioned, but I love this thing. Only had it a few weeks but very satisfied. Risky, but pays off if it comes to you as it was supposed to be.

Good size and price

I haven't had it long so it hasn't had much use but it works well so far. The size is great too. It came fairly messy, paint or something dripped and dried down the sides but it doesn't impair the function

Read a few bad reviews on this unit but gave it a try anyway. So far so good. Heats up quick and even. still turns on every time. Pressed about 100 things so far and it's still going strong. I hope this does not change after I submit this review :)

Zero issue so far, only thing is it’s a bit hard to open when down.

Great for the money and size

This heat press has worked very well for the 3 months that I have been using it. It's a great heat press for a great price! I would recommend this to anyone looking into purchasing a heat press.
