Great Press! Make the investment and get rid of your iron!
After buying my Cricut and wanting to make t-shirts I quickly learned that no matter how many articles I read trying to make it work my iron just wasn't going to cut it. I purchased this after reading thousands of reviews on presses in this price range (like you're doing right now). I waited 9 months to write this review to make sure it was still working as expected. I LOVE IT! My hobby has turned into a side business and my iron is back to doing it's intended job...ironing (not pressing). Great heat press for the price point!

Pleased 2nd Round
My review below is being amended. I ordered a 2nd press and all is great. I will now give it a good rating. First Press Below: This heat press didn’t get hot from the beginning . When I called the company, they asked me if I held the temperature button down for too long. I said , not that I know of. He let me know that when it doesn’t heat up or temp. button doesn’t go up or down , this means the customer probably held the button down too long. I asked him why this warning ⚠️ wasn’t in instructions . He said the machine was easy to operate and didn’t need extra instructions. He sent me the replacement part and it still didn’t work. By the way , he said it was super easy to put in the replacement part, but it wasn’t, and guess what, it didn’t come with instructions. Zero info! I sent the machine back. I do want to add that I know 3 people with this machine and they love it . Unfortunately, I didn’t have as good of an experience.

This is an amazing machine and it went to my heart to have to return it but return it I did. I learned to heat press using a swing away heat press and the clam shell design just didn't feel safe to work with for me. The machine works amazingly well, ZERO complaints. I was super pleased with it. However I was always worried about getting the tops of my hands and forearms burned while placing t-shirts in, especially smaller ones. It felt like I was spending forever trying to move slowly and carefully and was never really sure if I had centered things as well as I wanted to because the clam shell design cuts down on visibility for me. I think it's a fantastic product overall, but if you have a nervous/clumsy disposition like I do you might be better off with a swing away heat press.

Besr decision ever!
I am so happy with mine! The box is extremely heavy so I'm glad my husband was home to bring it in for me. We were able to set it up on a durable work station my husband made for it. At first I couldn't get to to clamp but then realized I needed to unscrew the knob and screw it back in then it clamped fine! I turn it on and by the time I have created, cut, weeded, and placed my design it is at my desired temperature and ready to go. It does heat up my shop so have a fan nearby haha. I generally keep a fan on my mannequin for after heat pressing I let the item cool on a mannequin. I highly highly recommend!

Very easy to use! Familiarize yourself with machine before starting an actual project!! After that, it is AWESOME!!
Very easy to use. Read instructions and familiarize yourself with the machine before you are ready to star a project and that way you will be less likely to get stressed out! lol. I think this machine is perfect for a beginner/intermediate Heat Transfer Crafter, I am new to this and have been using an iron before taking 20 minutes to do 1 onesie. Well, this helped me do it in about 2 minutes (there is a learning curve even for awesome people like me :) ) I suggest going to a local T-shirt printing shop and seeing if you can buy some of their scrap HTV and practice. Just to get the pressure and timing down. Otherwise, this is a great time saver once you got that down! I finished 4 onesies in the 20 minutes that it would've taken me with the iron!

I refer this to all of my customers
I have a vinyl business and I get asked all the time what kind of heat press should they get for pressing shirts.. I always recommend this one. It's easy to use and you never have to change anything. PERFECT!!! It also comes in different colors.

Great heat press for a great price
I was looking for an affordable heat press as I had just gotten into making shirts and I didn't want to use a iron most of the ones I saw were into the 300$ range cheapest. I was recommended this one and I've made plenty of shirts. It's great ! Affordable and does a great job . I would recommend buying extra teflon sheets I've heat pressed hats, headbands, baby clothes , stuffed animals, etc. I've had this heat press for 5 months bows and works like the first time I used it

**Update** Year later.. still working and still amazing! **orginal review** I have bought about 7 heat presses in the last 3 years and this one is by far my favorite. I use it everyday since I have a small tshirt company. Heats up fast. Doesn't lift up when opening up the clamshell. Base is narrow so works great if you have a small table for it. The metal bar did get a metal screw which made an awful noise so I bought the padded stickers you put on the bottom of furniture, put it on top of the screw and it's not as loud anymore. Best heat press I have had so far :)

Best value, worked flawlessly
I am in a costumed heavy metal band and wanted to make our own shirts to give away at our shows. We sell screen printed more expensive T's but wanted to make some heat pressed T's to throw from the stage. This was not available for Prime shipping but surprisingly arrived in only 3 days after ordering. It's heavy and the box is a bit awkward. The box had some pretty ugly damage so I was worried at first. Opening the box top I could see that the protective foam was busted and was really worried now. Pulling the foam from the box I could see that machine is actually very well protected. It had no damage whatsoever and looked great. I set up a sturdy work table and powered it up. It heated up quickly to 250 degrees. I changed the setting to 350 and placed a T shirt on the press. You should be very careful to not touch the shirt tag to the top hot plate at any time. The tag will stick to it. The t shirt tends to get caught on the front corners of the bottom plate and the rubber piece will lift up. After a couple attempts you will get good at avoiding this. I placed the transfer in the center chest area and placed the included Teflon over it. You want to be careful not to burn your hand but still get the Teflon over the transfer without bumping the transfer out of place. Also make sure the Teflon is all the way to the back, covering the shirt tag from touching the hot plate. I adjusted the tension a bit tighter and closed press. The timer was set to ten seconds, I went 15 and opened it up. Peel the transfer backing off quickly and it tears don't fight it. Simply place the Teflon back over it and heat it up again, then peel that piece off. It won't affect the uncovered area of transfer, in fact it will remove any wrinkles making it nice and smooth. When removing the finished shirt do not let the transfer touch itself or it can stick together and peel parts off. If your transfer is crooked you can stretch the area in the direction you need by pulling the shirt in the direction needed to level it out. Notice on most t shirts there is a center line down the middle for lining up your transfer. This heat press was $209 and appears to be the least expensive of this type on Amazon. The others are $250 + and not much more improved, so I highly recommend this one. I hope it lasts a long time, so far it has worked perfectly.

This is the second unit I have purchased for a gift. Bought my daughter one for Christmas. She has used it to make custom clothing. My wife liked using it also so I got her one for her birthday. Both of them love the unit and the ease of operation. Big hit, would have anyone interested to check this one out. The price is great also.
